Do you ever notice anyone staring at your HT hairline and wonder if they know you had work done?It happens to me most days and really makes you wonder what they are thinking! This is concerning and makes me want to avoid close contact with people grrr

Could someone give me some advice on a hairstyle that will make things less noticeable?.The problem is my hair is fairly fine so with any length it looks very scruffy ,and the sides have no weight so it looks fuzzy.

lastly what would you rate my hairline work?I got fue 2300 grafts, i'm 32 stable on propecia

Thanks everyone for the help!

I get the hairline stare alot an it makes me unable to focus when talking face to face with people.

But i Got it Also before my HT but anyway my hair was thin before Alsox

But i am using toppik so that could Also be the Reason for it.

It makes me feel bad because i do t know the Reason why they look.

But your HT looks ok, Can you post a pre op picture?

Who did your HT?

And how do you get your hair to "stand up"? Are you using hairspray to keep the hair not laying flat on top og your head?

The work looks good. I wouldn't think anyone but someone who has had or has considered a HT would notice.

Maybe try brushing or blow drying a little more forward and less straight up.

There appears to be some gaps in the commencement of the hairline. You can potentially have another small FUE procedure to add some single hair grafts in the gaps.

That would give your hairline a more natural appearance IMHO.

Looks pretty good. If people are staring at your hairline its only because you made a transformation and not bc you look unnatural.

We're all guilty of having a scrutinizing eye more than most. I used toppik and couvre very heavily before I went into surgery. I saw some floating eyes every once in a while but it was always the exception. You're probably just looking for people to look at your new hairline. Your eyes are on it so easy to assume others are.

I don't see any reason why people would be staring at your hairline and wondering if you had work done. Maybe they're just admiring how good your hair looks. Maybe they like how you style it. Or maybe they're not even looking at all. But I would bet money that no one is looking at your hairline and thinking it looks fake. The only possibility I can think of is if it's someone who particularly knew how your hair looked before and they notice that you have a considerable amount more hair now.

As for how to style your hair, it looks pretty good as is. What kind of product do you use? You can play around with different pastes that will add texture to your hair. I feel like I've tried nearly every product on the market over the years, so I can give you some of my top choices if you're interested.

Another option is to confide in a friend and tell them that you had a HT and get their honest feedback on whether or not they ever suspected anything. I've told a lot of my closest friends, and it's always well received. They find the whole thing fascinating and end up having a million questions for me.

In the meantime, I hope the comments here give you the confidence you need to start letting your guard down a little bit. The anxiety with wondering if people know you're secret has to be agonizing.

Have the stares gotten to the point to where you have contemplated plucking some of the hair on the frontal hairline? I would probably schedule a 'touch-up' of about one hundred grafts to create a less staggered consistency and less bold line. A removal could improve the hairliine, but you may want to have the follicular units redistributed to achieve a more balanced design.

I agree that you have macro irregularities but not micro irregularities. A very small fue could be icing on the cake.

Yes i think so... I actually did an edit using my new ipad pro

Softening the hairline with lighter, single hairs gives a much more natural appearance .What do you think?

I'm not sure how low of a hairline you would want to reconstruct, especially if it is already at an appropriate location. From observing the right side of the hairline, it does have a few 2-hair follicular units which create a bulky appearance. I would proceed with caution if you are simply attempting to soften the hairline by merely adding single-hair grafts.

I tend to regard the hairline as a feature that must mimic a feather-like appearance as Mother-Nature intended. Those who know you had the work done are looking because they are just totally amazed to see the hair; those who don't know about the surgery are trying to recognize and assess the unnatural orientation as something that they have seen or identified in the past.

Personally think you look pretty darn good and a surgery even a touch-up would be an overreaction right now. If you feel that strongly than the others have made several fine recommendations.

You look good.

An adequate amount of single hair grafts would work wonders to produce a more aesthetically appealing hairline. As was mentioned, a small FUE touch-up would definitely enhance it to help create a more natural appearance.

Your hairline looks fine. It might look a TINY bit "picket fence" but nowhere near an obvious transplant.

I think you're getting paranoid and perhaps a bit self-conscious

Exactly. Even a light touch of couvre/dermatch and toppik would do wonders. I'd go with the latter as a couvre/toppik combo works best on a larger area that requires heavy concealment. The fibers in toppik would easily balance this out. Its magical stuff when used correctly.

Again though, you look very good.

I agree with those to said that you look perfectly normal as you are. Yes, you could improve the appearance with a small session but I wouldn't call it necessary.

thank you for the advice everyone !!!

I'm really giving this some thought and not rushing into anything

If i decided to get my hairline fixed i'm thinking of Rahal but i'm not sure on his FUE .I wouldn't want FUT for a small procedure

Softening the hairline won't take much. Make sure you go to a specialist who has experience with hairline augmentation. Definitely don't further compromise any donor resources by undergoing FUT.
