There is a video of him where he cuts out a section of someones scalp(like FUT but a circular shape so he could see the bottom of the grafts and how they reacted during the punching and extraction with forceps. He could see if the grafts were torn from various methods of pulling with the forceps and at exactly what depth the punch should go. Which Doctor has done that? Possibly Erdogan and Hakan. The fact that Lorenzo is restoring Norwood 5 and 6s with minimal amount of grafts compared to strip shows that his yield might actually be higher than strip and the benefit of cherry picking the multi-hair grafts via FUE cannot be exaggerated enough. The demand for FUE has soared and hence drs are trying to improve it all the time and it's starting to pay off. I'm looking forward to seeing Dr wesleys new method of FUE which should further improve yield and reduce fibrotic tissue, hence meaning more grafts can be taken from the donor. Lorenzo's skill in FUE is unique.I've seen hundreds or FUE results over years here and in every other forum,and have to say his results are far superior to ANY other top FUE surgeon.I have no doubt he is the best FUE surgeon in the world. Yeah, but what about all of those patients in between? I am sticking with strip since I have already been cut. Then, if needed, I can always do FUE to get more grafts. The improvement in FUE will help new patients and strip patients because if I ever need more grafts I can count on good yield, as FUE overall has imrproved in the last few years. Yeah but some people like me don't have the donor density to obtain this many grafts via FUE so until regeneration is consistently achieved strip will still be the best choice for a lot of people. The benefit of multi-hair grafts is an aspect of HT surgery that I overlooked for along time, but a few recent cases where the patient had high numbers of multi-hair grafts has brought its importance to my awareness. NW VII background in his family. We started with finasteride and waited almost a year to see the result. He improves his donor area and slightly the recipient.
