Going for No 3 tomorrow with Dr's Farjo in Manchester
ukbloke replied to balody's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Thank you young man, I am fine and currently 8 and a half months out, one has been very busy lately and I'm not really a great internet person consequently HT thoughts kind of faded into the background. I actually went some months without even looking on this site and you know what, it was great to just forget about my head for a while. I'm due in Manchester next week as it happens and again back end of August and I'm more than happy to pop into Farjo's clinic to have some pics taken and posted on here. All the best. -

A good, informative and realistic post heer Mick, good and intersting stuff. -
So pleased for you Billy, you look 10 years younger. May I ask a question? What does does your hair look like - top down - under strong light or sunlight - is it thickening up? Thanks Regards

4 month update this morning chaps. Two pics taken outdoors on inside. Once again apologies for poor quality of pics, I have a better quaity digital camera but can't find it and am loathed to purchase another camera. Please note the remnants of a massive spot at the front there. It was absoltely massive, I gave it a squeeze about 6 days ago loads of dead white blood cell goo and it bled like hell. Morale of the story is, leave those spots alone.

Yes, I know where you are coming from, I had a procedure last Nov and Farjo are top class. I often wonder if I should talk on here about how great Farjo are because I would kind of like to keep them all to myself. Some pics would be nice when you can - relax and let Farjo-nature do the rest

15 Months after HT done at Dr.Madhu's Hyderabad
ukbloke replied to RRVG's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Not seen these before but I must say I am particularly impressed by your top down monthly progress photos. They document your progression to a lovely head of hair. Nice one. -
Thought I'd add some pics taken outdoors without flash this morning, (day 85) I think they show the spots on my head more clearly, there are quite a lot. Research informs me that spots are quite normal, partcularly in the early days. It could be my imagination but I remember a rash of spots 5/6 weeks ago followed by some noticable fluff (the light covering of hair you can see in the photos), coming through. Maybe the current crop of spots are a prelude to another crop of hairs pushing through? Tme will tell. Also a note about Farjo, I haven't been in contact with them as I have no issues or problems. However, Mick from Farjo has contacted me a few tmes to check all is OK and wants to arrange for me to pop in for a check up later in the year. Farjo continue to be World Class in their dealings with me. BTW I am happy or the forum administrator to put this post in with my previous post with pics if it makes the flow of my posts easier for people to follow

Hi Billy. You are one of the people I have been following closely on here. Similar hairloss to myself and a similar number of grafts. Your results to date have been excellent and I hope your procedure fulfills your pre-operative hopes. Your HT surgeon and his team have done a marvelous job. All the best.

Hi Gents. It's 84 days or exactly one week short of 3 months since my procedure with Dr Farjo. Absolutely no problems to report, just older and poorer. I realise it's still early days and not much going on but I think these pics show that there are at least a few sprouts coming through for spring. Apologies for the quality of the pictures, the 3rd one is in black and white as I think it contrasts the hairs that have popped through better, but it probably doesn't. Take care all.

my amzing hair transplant journey
ukbloke replied to Gujrat-Pakistan's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Considering your starting point that is a very good result. You must be chuffed, you certainly look years younger and remind me of a famous Pakistani cricketer -
I take it you are Spencer Spex? I heard you on the programme and thought you came accross as very sensible, articulate and erudite, well done, they should have let you speak more.. I missed the first 10 minutes of the show so I am assuming Brian Beacon was interviewed at the start as he wasn't on when I was listening. Judging by some of the people phoning in, some folk (in the UK anyway), still equate a HT with dolls hair plugs. Also, there is a famous ex-cricketer in the UK called Graham Gooch and the programme left me confused as to whether he wears a hair piece or has had a HT.
-
For those interested -it's coming up to 10 past 9am here in the UK and Radio 5 Live are as we speak doing a phone in on baldness, Brian Beacon is a guest, lot's of people phoning in with their hair loss, being bald, hair restoration experiences. To find go to the BBC website, find the RADIO section click on Radio 5Live then click on listen live. Already a suprising list of UK celebrities have been named as having had a HT
-
Suprised no one here has mentioned it but the news item below was being broadcast on various BBC Natonal news networks here in the UK. It's of interest to many here so click on link below BBC - Newsbeat - Baldness drug Propecia 'risking men's sexual health'

Just to add, I had 3719 grafts (booked in for 3500) done with Dr B Farjo. I can only speak as I find and say the experience at the Farjo clinic (whatever the results of my HT may be), was top quality, Dr Farjo and his staff were marvelous. Post op absolutely no problems, very slight swelling, donor scar not a problem (once staples removed) and redness gone by day 14, and coincidentally from day 14 to 16 (yesterday) I experienced a massive shed and am now more or less looking like my pic you can see up in the corner there. I would like to say a massive thank you to Dr Farjo and all the staff at the Farjo clinic. Farjo number one in the World for me - Thank You. You don't get the recognition you deserve IMO. -
I'm sure I saw a video on youtube of Rossi having his procedure done a while ago when I was researching HT's but can't remember who with. Robert Plant is currently touring the UK with Band of Joy. He played Liverpool last Thursday. He's about age 67 and he seems to have a lot more hair than he did a few years ago. I'm guessing extensions maybe.
