I stayed at MyRose Hotel, it was very clean and relax.

Great breakfast.

The hotel is located in a busy area so you won't get bored. Its just 10 minutes away from Taksim Square where you can really enjoy yourself.

p.s. I had really good support and bundles of information from @UK43. I am still in contact with him after my HT. Made the whole process very easy.

Hi 'Another',

When did you have your HT done with Dr Maral?

Do you have any pics of the procedure you had?

Thank you another...I just bought my ticket today. I am very existed and refuse to worry still...I am even more encouraged by seeing your results here. It seems that this doctor and his team will most probably procedure a good result. And when compering the results with the price then it is really a great deal.

Thank you again for sharing this here and if you have anything I should know prior or after the procedure please let me/us know :).

Cheers.

Hi UK43,

Your latest pictures of your HT look good. However at the end of the day has the growth you have experienced after 7 months met your goals or do you think it has exceeded them?

Do you think you have any further new growth to come from your HT with Dr Maral?

Thanks.

Based on how it was before then I am very happy with the results at the 7 month stage, especially the natural appearance. If I get any more growth then that will be a bonus. If anything I would have hoped that the hair in the crown area was a bit thicker, however I have been keeping it quite short so if I let it grow more then I think the overall result will look better. In percentage terms my overall score would be 87% :D

Very useful feedback, many thanks.

I have read on this forum that it can take 8-12 months for all hairs to finally grow out, so it will be interesting to see how your growth progresses over the next few months, hopefully you will increase your score above 87%!

Looking at those photos and comparing them to how your hair looked before I would consider this a full success.

The growth will continue and by the end of the year you will have much thicker hair and also longer hair will improve its look.

If I get what you have I will be very happy! Actually seeing your hair encourages me a lot and since I am doing my HT on 9th of August it makes me feel even more comfortable about the entire process.

Is there anything special you want to let me know UK43 before I undertake the HT based on your experience please?

Thanks a lot :).

Hi UK43,

Thank you so much for updating us on your progress and sharing your photos.

Still looks good to me, although there is no much visible change, at least from those photos, from the last time when you uploaded photo, there overall result is fine.

Have you been in contact with other people who had HT with Maral's clinic? I am curious what are their results?

Btw, I am travelling tomorrow evening to Istanbul, on Friday I will have my HT...please keep fingers crossed for me too :).

Sorry iv been away for a whilst

Looking good mate coming thru nicely, can I ask do you still get some pain in the recipient area ? Mine is still a little numb but still get some sharp pain if I bang or press on my head, getting a little concerning as I start the rugby season soon !!! Kimi don't worry you will be fine, if your staying in the my ros? I wouldn't recommend venturing out at night as the area seemed a bit rough to me tbh... I will start my own thread from 3 months as most of mine has shed but there are a few new hairs coming thru even at this stage !!

Once again great thread UK43 and result is looking promising if mine is as good !!

Thanks for the advice 7even. I have no idea in which hotel will I be staying as I didn't ask since I wasn't too concerned with that.

When did you have HT 7even? Hope you will have lots of great news and photos to share soon :).

Since you are a sportsman when do you recommend I shall go back to running and bike riding or something similar, not too "demanding"?

Cheers :).

Kimi,

I had my HT on 17th June I started light training again about 2 after ie running, cycling and light weights and all seems to be fine so far.

I would def recommend taking a loosely fitting baseball cap which will not touch your recipient area as the hat the clinic provides aren't the most fashionable !!

I have no pain or numbness whatsoever. I should imagine that once you get to the three month mark you will be the same as any numbness / iching had totally gone by then in my case.

Great UK43,

There is definitely a clear visible progress since month 7. You already have a full coverage and in the months to come it will look much thicker and will be just great.

Man, if I am as lucky as you I will be really happy with my HT :).

Btw, I was wondering how come Maral didn't suggest spraying the grafts after the surgery, although I understood this to be a general practise, and told me to wash the head only four days after the procedure and most do it already on the first of second day, do you have any clues?

Not sure, I left it alone for the first two days then patted water on the grafts very lightly.

On the 6th day I started to use the moisturising cream you are given to loosen the scabs, he suggests applying it and leaving on for 30 minutes before washing it off with a shower set at low pressure and then using the pH neutral shampoo. After day 8 I started to massage the cream in to make the scabs soft so they came away. I did really well as I didn't loose any hairs. But guess what they all then shed anyway! :P

I see Dr Maral has given detailed instructions on this web site for post HT care:

maralhairklinik.com/en/mikrofue-after

He suggests moisturising from day-3 after the procedure with him.

Yuhuuuu happy birthday to you mate :).

You now what, you don't look like 44 years old at all...or even better, you look great for a 44 years old man, and that hair looks just awsome :D.
