Hello everyone, Thank you for your comments. This is my first hair transplant and didn't need any recovery hair transplant as it looks great, except the ugly duckling stage as they say. I am trying to arrange for second visit to Dr. Maral to cover my top crown area, that is when my work is settled down as this is a very busy period at work. My HT was done in 1 session, so yes this is the result after 1 session. thanks regards,

Hey KO, Pictures were taken in a normal daylight conditions. I haven't tried to take any pics with flash as this is how I see myself in the mirror and how others see me indoors and outdoors. I am sure you agree that it looks very good compare to how I was before. Now all I need is a second session to cover my crown area. thanks KO.

Hello all, Sorry that I couldn't reply to anyone, I was away for a very long time and was very busy with work. I am not sure what happened but this thread has gone totally the wrong way, unnecessary and wrongly bashing of Dr. Maral. This thread was not meant to create all kind of misunderstandings but to share my experience. Its been around 18 months now since my HT with Dr. Maral. I couldn't be happier that I have chosen this clinic. I had a perfect experience with Dr. Maral's clinic. As explained in my previous post I didn't chose Dr. Maral because he charges 10times cheaper then most other surgeons but purely because I have met several his patients in person and because I was impressed by their result. I am still in touch with most of his patients and everyone is always praising his work. Please see my pictures and you will see why. Couple of months ago my hair started to feel ticker and fuller. I am getting compliments on daily bases. I was in panic at 11 months because my hair wasn't looking as I was expecting, but today it is a different look for me. A look that I was expecting. Please see couple of pictures, they are very recent. I am planning to go for second session to Dr. Maral once I manage to take off from work. By the way, I still don't use any medication, sprays or anything else to boost my hair growth. I prefer to let it grow naturally. Thank you.

Hello Peter, yes indeed many questions 1. Started at 14:30 and finished at 23:15 as timed. I had a break at 18:30 for 15 minutes. 2. No I haven't taken any pictures of extracted grafts. 3. Extraction 2 hands and planting 4 hands. 4. Yes I did contact Dr. Maral asking his opinion about the result. He says that the result is good. 5. No I am not happy because I was hoping for way better result with 4000 grafts, whatever the reason for this result is. Dutch I am looking for a surgeon in other countries as well, to be honest I don't mind where the surgeon is, as long as the surgeon is well recommended and delivers good results. Before going for second HT I will try to get all checked with a dermatologist. 1978matt I think at this stage its hard to know whether they are singles or doubles, it would've been great to have much doubles and better density.

Hi guys, thanks for your comments and replies. It is 15 months post op now. I can't say that I am happy with the result as week by week hair is shedding more and don't see any regrow. For some reason my hair is facing all different direction so styling is very hard. I was very excited to see the final result with 4000 grafts, but now very disappointed. Everything seemed perfect until 8 months post op but as from 9th month I started shedding, also the hairline is almost empty now. I loved the hair line look at 6 months post op, but it looks very bad now. I am not taking any hair growth boost medication or anything else that might have a side-effect. I did use Alpecin for couple of months but that made not difference at all. I haven't contacted Dr. Maral. I have decided to go for second HT surgery so I am doing research on ht surgeons in Europe, primary in the UK. thanks guys

Hello, Please see 13 months post op pic, 4000 grafts. I was hoping to get better result with 4000 grafts, unfortunately this seems the final result for me as I haven't noticed any changes in the past 2 months. thanks

Hello abcd0000 Thanks for your reply. I have spoken to a dermatologist and he was advising me to contact the HT doctor. Dr. Maral said in September that cyst is normal and that the hair will grow out in 1-2 months and last month in March advised to wait another 3 months, but I don't feel like anything changes and wanted to get a second opinion from other users or doctors here. Thanks.

Hello I had my HT exactly 12 months ago. 7 months ago I have noticed a cyst (see pic) and I was wondering if anyone knows what it could be. It feels like a hard dot when I touch it, it is not paining and it is not sensitive. 7 months ago when I first noticed it I was advised that it is a new hair that tries to come out and that this will go away in 1-2 months but it has been over 7 months now and the cyst is still the same with no any changes. Please advise. Thank you.

This is a good job and looks great at 6 months post op. You must be very happy to compare your pictures and see the difference.

Thank you for your comments. I just want to say that I don't really care whether its 4000 grafts or 2000 grafts. For me this is ok as I can clearly see a positive change. I am not and never was expecting my 10 years ago density, all I wanted a bit of hairline and a bit of hair, or just a decent illusion of hair. I got what I wanted and maybe it will even improve as I am at 11 months mark only. Further I have never questioned Dr. Maral or his team whether they have really planted those 4000 grafts as promised, I know they have extracted 4000 grafts and they did plant 4000 grafts. Thanks for your comments. Of course the outcome is more important than where the HT is done. At this point there is nothing much to do about this than accepting the result and hoping for more growth. I don't want to start blaming anyone for the result because as I said there are so many factors from the patient's side as well that can affect the final result.

Thanks Jimmy Yes for 50% it is success if this is the final result stage otherwise may be there is still chance for more growth. I think the same thing could have happen with $9000 if it is the gene that rejects the grafts, its hard to know at this point.

Hello all, Thanks for your comments. I appreciate everyone's honest opinion whether they are positive or negative. Please note, it is not my intention to show my result in order to give a bad review about Dr. Maral. I think my HT is not failed and as we can see there is a positive result. Of course I do notice that the result is not good enough with 4000 grafts but as we know every gene is different and there are so many factors from the patient's side also that can affect the final result. I didn't go to Dr. Maral because of the cost but because some of my friends done HT with Maral Hair Klinik and their results were excellent. Based on the results I have seen and after doing further research I have decided to go with Dr. Maral. I have paid 1800 Euros for my HT, my savings for HT was 5 times more. I don't think I will go for second HT as I cannot be bothered with the constant reminder about the progress and after-care. Also not to forget thinning of the donor area. I am 50% happy with my result, as said I was expecting better result with 4000 grafts.
