  1. I endorse this. MikroFUE did not open a new thread to promote Dr. Maral's clinic, he just shared additional images (wasn't that what the trolls here keep asking for?) on an existing topic of a real patient. It is in the interest of the readers to have access to relevant information, photos, etc. to make informed decisions. If you are censoring posts by non-paying clinics, that means that you are afraid that they might take the business from the big clinics and that Dr. Maral's clinic is on par with their results.
  2. Oh dear. That definitely looks larger than 0.9 mm. I am so sorry for you and I agree that the Dr. should have given you a choice. Taking grafts outside of safe zone, not completing the hairline, the huge punches--it all looks incredibly irresponsible for a reputed doctor. How did it even happen? I hope your healing is going well and that your recipient grows well. With the area covered, I'd say that there are still good chances for a very decent result. But definitely change the doctor for the second HT...
  3. I like how a small clinic in Turkey made all the big fish furious, like the Romans and the Gaul village Right now Turkey is the place to go for HT, there are dozens of small clinics and they have the know how. FUE essentially removed the requirement for a surgeon to perform any part of the procedure, as the anatomy of hair follicles is simple and the whole process is safe and harmless (unlike FUT, which is a different story) and it can be performed by an experienced technician. Of course, a surgeon must be there to distribute assignments and to manage and oversee the operation. That way, as more and more guys realize they don't have to decide between car and hair thanks to reasonable prices in Turkey, the bizarrely expensive Western clinics are losing $$ and will of course do anything to sabotage their opponents. I vouch for Dr. Maral and hope that all those vultures who pay people to troll on forums will either have to lower their prices or go out of business.
  4. Ha, can I relate to that. I almost cried when I first used hair conditioner after 15+ years. Hair products got so much better in the meantime
  5. I am Dr. Maral's patient and I am completely satisfied with my results. For one surgery, I believe my results are more than good. I am posting as detailed images as I can and I take them when I have time, I have nothing to hide from anybody. But I do dislike the tone of some people here whose intentions I question, and who seem eager to prove that my results are poor. They are not. After only one surgery, I have completely changed my looks and people's perception about me. Yes it is thin on the crown, so what? Do you know a surgeon who could return me a full head of hair from NW 7, even a "recommended" one? I would like to see that. It is important to be realistic--you will never have a hair like you did when you were 18, but that will not happen with overpriced doctors either. Transplanted hair is always an optical illusion but the important things is that it works--not as good on a beach when my hair is wet and the sun is right above me, but quite well when I stand in front of people in daily situations who perceive me more positively now because I am not "that bald guy." After seeing so many dirty campaigns on this forum, I am now supporting and recommending Dr. Maral even more than before.
  6. I am also very satisfied with everything and recommend him warmly. I just checked and the English and German site is really down (strangely), but you can find the contacts, including email address, on the front page if you just google "Maral Klinik."
  7. I have only the best words for Dr. Maral and his entire team. I was a NW6+ and most doctors didn't even want to operate on me. Dr. Maral's clinic changed my life for the better and I will be forever grateful to them. I am going for a second procedure as soon as I find some time to travel.
  8. It would normally be a "New Thread" button on any subforum, but I think new members need some time until they get all the privileges (private messaging, posting threads, etc.), obviously to avoid too easy advertising. There is a topic somewhere called "Private Messages" or something similar, where you can ask the moderator to speed up the process. It took me several weeks too.
  9. Oh yes, they definitely know their job. My recipient area is perfect now, no pitting or cobble-stoning whatsoever. You did well to disappear, I tried leading normal life a couple of days post-op and it ended up terribly. Take your time to heal. And get yourself a nice collection of hats as your hair is going to look like sh.t for the next 3 months or so.
  10. Hmmmm... That Have you asked the doctor? The recipient area is very sensitive and red and looks weird post op, but it fixes itself after a couple of months. Can you post a pic?
  11. Hey, welcome back. Your progress looks perfect! Don't squeeze the pimples though, just clean them with some perox or alcohol and let them dry by themselves. You are heading for some great results my friend.
  12. After the initial side effects, I resumed taking it a few weeks later, and now I'm in month 7. I see the results and the sides are gone, so I don't see myself stopping it any time soon. If there is a risk I am willing to take it.
  13. I am so sorry man. Yes, HT is a huge risk and sites like this should help us all realize that. I also went to Bosley for a consultation (they said they were offering free Toppik with each visit, which they didn't) and I was shocked at their ruthless selling tricks and exorbitant costs. It felt like being a guest in a shopping channel talk show. I went to Turkey instead. If you are having very poor growth you should at least consult as many of the best clinicians in the field as you can and hear what they have to say. Also keep in mind that European surgeons tend to be more ethical than the Americans.
  14. Sure. I think applying a disinfectant cannot hurt and in my experience that is a pretty efficient way to fight inflamed skin. Good luck
  15. Hmmmm... Sounds like a good question for a dermatologist. I did have some ingrown (or let's say, hindered) hair that used to cause similar big cysts, but they would fade away after a month or so. My--very risky and completely inadequate--method was to squeeze/rub it a bit and clean it often with alcohol or hydrogen, with the idea that that might somehow help the struggling follicle find its place and fight the surrounding infection. But I have NO medical knowledge and please don't do what I did. Ask a specialist.
