The top/front are good and stable, but the native hair in the crown was not going to improve any further with meds alone. Dr Rahal extracted 2747 grafts via strip and covered a wide area at the crown. The patient has a favourable family history of hairloss. I am a patient and representative of Dr Rahal. He's very lucky to have the front intact. With less than 3,000 grafts used, he's got loads left for any future hair loss. I think he can forget about balding for a long time to come. Just 6 months? It's only going to get better. Dr. Rahal did an outstanding job with the crown. Seems like the meds didn't do much for his crown since he was using them for a while, but the grafts did wonders. I don't think this guy has anything to worry about any time soon. My crown was a mess before starting any meds, but they worked to stabilize it. Even though it is still thin in my crown, I know it is not an area to mess with at this point. This result gives me great assurance that the doc can cover me if my meds stop working on my crown. Matt, do you by any chance know the surface area that was covered here? The area does look like it was a decent size to cover and 2,747 grafts seemed to nail it well. Please do try to keep us posted on how it looks like in another 6 months.
