This 32-year-old has been on meds for years. The top/front are good and stable, but the native hair in the crown was not going to improve any further with meds alone.

Dr Rahal extracted 2747 grafts via strip and covered a wide area at the crown.

The patient has a favourable family history of hairloss.

Matt,

This patient has an exceptional result. The crown graft angulation and density have such a natural and untreated appearance. Work like this makes us in the hair restoration profession proud.

Great job.

Wow, I'd be happy with a result like that! I am same age as that patient but only just started meds in earnest. Will drop an email and photos to the Rahal clinic and speak to some UK members here who I see have had a transplant with them.

Matt,

I'm very impressed by this result! The fact that he's only 6 months post-op is even more amazing! He's very lucky to have the front intact. With less than 3,000 grafts used, he's got loads left for any future hair loss. I think he can forget about balding for a long time to come.

Great crown coverage with only 2000+. I thought crown is a black hole but I guess it is sorted out well in this case.

Dr. Rahal work is always outstanding on virgin scalps. I noticed that a lot.

This crown result being only 6 months out with just 2747 Grafts used in the "black hole" region is  amazing. Just 6 months? It's only going to get better. Dr. Rahal did an outstanding job with the crown. Seems like the meds didn't do much for his crown since he was using them for a while, but the grafts did wonders. I don't think this guy has anything to worry about any time soon.

My crown was a mess before starting any meds, but they worked to stabilize it. Even though it is still thin in my crown, I know it is not an area to mess with at this point. This result gives me great assurance that the doc can cover me if my meds stop working on my crown.

Matt, do you by any chance know the surface area that was covered here? The area does look like it was a decent size to cover and 2,747 grafts seemed to nail it well.

Please do try to keep us posted on how it looks like in another 6 months. It's really exciting to see this crown result by the doc. :)

RESULT! Very impressive, especially at only 6 months. The crown normally taking much more time to come in! Go Rahal! Congratulations to all! Results like this give me hope!
