Hairguy, Hopefully, this link will work. As you can see, this docket did not involve "innocent mistakes". For example, the usage of expired meds is not a mistake, to name only 1 of the things mentioned. **link removed** Atticus

You eyes are all scrunched up in a unnatural manner so you hairline looks lower than it really is. I do wonder what kind of clinic agrees to graft removal at only six months time. This seems unethical and plain wrong. It seems like the type of clinic who got in trouble for unlawful distribution of drugs, and also having unqualified employees performing medical functions. Does not sound good. So Hairguy, is this where you are going/went? https://services.georgia.gov/dch/mebs/retrieveBoardOrder.do?licenseNumber=029158&boardTypeId=2 Atticus

Correct. All cosmetic surgeons consider mental health. For example, a breast enhancement doc is going to want to know whether his potential patient is suffering from depression, and if so, is he or she receiving treatment for it. Why, because we (I) tend to blame others for our decisions thus making it about ourselves. I use myself as an example. I have major depressive disorder, but I am on meds and have received therapy, so I am in a good place and I am able to deal with problems now after asked for and receiving help. I do agree with the others, six months is to soon to judge this hairline. It needs to be grown out so a proper assessment can be done. Are these pix after the OP went to another clinic afterwards? I am not clear on this. Finally, I will say that this story about passing out does not make any sense at all. A world class surgeon like Dr. Umar has no need to use such back room techniques, and the fact is people fly in from all around the world to be worked on by him. At this point in his career, he does not even need to solicit work. His schedule is jam packed from morning to night. I have to run and get ready to go make a living. I will slurp down some coffee and hit the door running. Good day gents, Atticus

I would go with FUE hands down. I had 600 FUE to the hairline. I like not having a smiley face scar in the back of my head.

Ah, the voice of reason. You are exactly right Bill. All I know is Dr. Umar is VERY cautious and does not rush the patient into anything. The patient has all the time in the world to ask questions, research and speak to Dr. Umar AHEAD of time. I find this one sided version of events very difficult to swallow as it does not sound like any experience I have ever had with Dr. Umar. So, yes, the Doc needs the patients consent to respond accordingly. Until then, this is only one sided story, and nothing else. Because of HIPPA laws, docs have their hands tied in responding to these types of things. Just because this is the internet, does not mean we are not responsible for what we right down in these forums. Res ipsa loqutior, Atticus

You seem to be going from one subject to the other. First, beard extraction pix are posted as per your request, and know you go one some incomprehensible rant about a radio show. The comments you have posted seem rather strange since you only joined here in 7/13. It seems like you have some kind of agenda. Atticus res ipsa loquitor The things speaks of itself Atticus

Congrats on your make over, that is amazing. Smart lipo is tiny incision, and then the laser is used to tighten the skin. I have had smart lipo under me neck, pecks area/back area, and my stomach. These procedures are so non invasive and do not require aneathesia, you remain awake. The area is numbed so you don't feel anything, and that's pretty much it. I used Dr. Thomas W. Barnes in Newport Beach, and highly recommend him. Atticus

Dr Jose Lorenzo 9999 FUG
Atticus replied to Mick from Farjo's topic in Results Posted by Leading Hair Restoration Clinics
I don't think this guy, for example, was expecting a mop of hair. This case is using body hair only. Cosmetic wise, he looks excellent compared to before and after. Atticus -
Dr Jose Lorenzo 9999 FUG
Atticus replied to Mick from Farjo's topic in Results Posted by Leading Hair Restoration Clinics
Atticus I was thinking the same thing. The average person just doesn't happen to have 10k donor grafts available. For example, Dr. Umar specializes in cases other docs just don't want or simply cannot help. Due to his skill level, he often works on burn victims, or victims of other doctors butchery. He makes fue grow in to scar tissue for gods sake! Most of these patients have been robbed of precious donor hair by other docs. In short, these patients cosmetic desires are merely to look normal, rather than look scarred and disfigured. They do not expect a mop of hair look, and they now this going in. The most important thing is that the patient is happy, and nothing else. We have to be careful and not make apples to oranges comparisons. Measuring this kid up with the perfect situation, 10k of head hair donor grafts, is not realistic. We all know that. Most NW4 to NW7's don't have nowhere near this amount of donor hair. Atticus -

Atticus: Reply to KO's statement - "Mickey, how many FUE surgeons can do FUE for > NW4? Apart from a handful of surgeons liek Lorenzo, Erdogan, etc, not many" Dr. Umar has done very large FUE cases on NW7's with good results. He is one of the elite, who does not do FUT and only specializes in FUE and BHT. Atticus -
4200 FUE with Dr Villnow (800 body hair)
Atticus replied to cousinr's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Amen - I heard/read all the myths you listed below when I first joined. The more I researched, the more I liked FUE. It was a no brainer decision for me - scar or no scar, I went with no scar. I am glad FUE is getting the recognition it always deserved. I hear less and less of the myths you listed as time has gone on, and the more exposure it gets, the better. Atticus- 38 replies

Mentalist, Hmmm, such defamatory statements like this: " Dear David, we need to weed out the biased comments about a doctor?s work, specially by the patients who choose to "advertise" one?s work in exchange for touch-ups or a less expensive price for graft. That is clearly Atticus case. No one would expose himself that way out of nothing. You make these type of defamatory statements as fact. You don't get to make up your own facts. What you wrote about me is completely untrue, and simply ridiculous!!! You should be more careful about what you write.

I had leg hair trasplanted in to the eyebrows. These hairs replicate eyebrow hair, and they don't grow long. Using head hair will result in extra thick looking brows that have to be constantly trimmed. Atticus

The pros/cons of FUE. Myths dispelled.
Atticus replied to Mickey85's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I can't find the post now, but someone wrote that "even Dr. Umar says you have to always trim transplanted eyebrow hair". Clarification - Constant trimming may be needed for someone who has had head hair transplanted in to the eyebrow area because head hair grows long and rapidly and require daily trimming, thus Dr. Umar's statement (though I have not read him saying that). In Dr. Umar's case/my case, he used hair that mimics eyebrow hair. Further clarification, Dr. Umar may have said leg hair may need trimming ever three weeks or so, as opposed to daily with head hair. The leg hair in my eyebrows doesn't really need trimming, however, I trim them (maybe every three weeks) to shape them in to cool looking brows as is the style in men now. Finally, as people age, they have to start trimming their eyebrow hairs anyway. All in all, my eyebrow work has kicked ass for me. I actually have eyebrows and no longer feel weird. Atticus -

Strip or fue for temple peaks?
Atticus replied to irishsailor's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
I have to agree. I had nape hair used for my temple points and hairline. Absolutely nobody including friends, family and my barber have been able to tell I have had work done because nape hair mimics temple and hairline hair to the T. You simply cannot beat the naturalness of certain hand selected hairs being used for certain select locations. FUT cannot accomplish this customization. -

yes, it is possible. The grafted hair will grow the same length as it did in its original location. -

Using FUE to fix sideburns

I can't see that many grafts being needed for such a small area.
