  1. Great write up!!! Damn. You are absolutely correct regard FUE vs FUT. Excellent compare and contrast. You are RIGHT on the money when you say: -Optimal for small cases/eyebrows/beard work/scar repair: Say you needed 400-700 grafts for some minor hair recession. Undergoing FUT would not be desirable for such a small amount of grafts. FUE would be perfect. If someone wanted eyebrow restoration of 300 of so grafts, again, FUE would be the best method for that quantity. The Doctor could even select single hair grafts and finer hair so get as close to natural eyebrow characteristics are possible. Many patients with stretched scars or discontent with their FUT scar can have a few hundred FUE grafts inserted to fill it in. In my case, Dr. Umar selected my leg hair for my eyebrows. As you know, leg hairs mimic eyebrow hair. Gotta roll, Take it easy! Thanks, Mickey!

  3. I second what what the Future Doc said. I had eyebrow restoration. Dr. Umar uses leg hair because it replicates eyebrow hair. It doesn't grow long like head hair. Plus, YOU DO NOT WANT FUT for a small number of grafts. Quite frankly, other HT/ver few HT docs can do what Dr. Umar does with body hair. Atticus
  4. Well, I never thought about it from that angle. Good point. Happy St. Patricio Day!!!! Atticus
  5. Performing a HT is probably 80% artistry and 20% surgical skill. Personally I would not go to a part time HT surgeon. EXACTLY
  6. SMP right out in front at the hairline? The artist better be damn good. Even then, no matter what anyone says, any type of tattoo inks fades. I am not an expert in SMP, but I do have a lot of japanese ink on my body.
  7. This is the work I had done on my temples and hairline. You may want to do an online consultation with Dr. Umar. He is honest, and he is the best at what he does. Atticus
  8. Well, I am certainly not a Doctor like Dr. Charles, however, I used to pop those gross things being VERY careful to only touch the very tip of bump containing fluid. I have had no problems.
  9. Sorry Gillenator - I forgot to update my sig. 600 were for the temple and hairline. 300 legs hair (150 each brow) were implanted. *******************Can anyone please tell me how to edit my sig line********* Thanks, Atticus
  10. Dr. Umar in Redondo Beach uses body hair that mostly likely replicates eyebrow hair. In my case, Dr, Umar used leg hair to restore my eyebrows. The consisitency and lenght are excellent. Most doctors use regular head hair on the eyebrows, however, up close it looks very strange. Head hair is too thick in diameter to match eyebrow. The other downfall of using head hair on eyebrows is the necessity to constantly have to trim that hair. In my case the leg hair transplanted on to my eyebrows only needs to be trimmed very, very seldom. Thanks, Atticus
  11. Send Umar do an online consultation with Dr. Umar. Atticus
  12. Dr. Umar is a top FUE doc. Do a online consult with him at dermhairclinic.com - what the hell - its free.
  13. I usaully use 5,000mcg/day - with good results. Hair is good, health and thick. My fingernails grow faster as well. Atticus
  14. That's about it, just do it. Atticus
  15. Go in there and give the girl a shot man. If you get to know her well enough, you could just tell her. In the meanwhile, dim the lights if you get intimate. Atticus
  16. I would trust each Doctor to operate the way the see best. Some may not shave, but I would guess you are kind of working in the dark - Why risk it?
  17. It's probably best to be shaved. Hopefully, you took a decent amount of time off work.
  18. Excellent advice. Price should never be the determing factor for a HT. Atticus
