The doctor that replaced Ximena Vila is called Bruno Ferreira he has a website with his name. He does HT surgery in Porto - Portugal and charges 2,5€/graft. I can’t see any results from him online but maybe they will start popping up in the future Bruno Pinto is currently the best HT Doc in Portugal with his own clinic also in Porto but he charges 2.6€/graft (more than Ximena Vila) with a busy schedule (full until January 2022). Granted that besides him there is no other word class Doc in Portugal with his own clinic and many patient results online (in the spanish forum).

Crown started thinning 4 years after the HT but I was 25 years old when I had my HT and was warned by Dr. Rahal that this would happen. Dr. Pekiner assistant mentioned SMP but I am still waiting for their assessment and I haven’t yet researched about SMP.

Jonny my father and grandparents died of cancer so I am not going to mess with a pill that affect my hormones also, I am against having to take a pill every day of my life or risk getting shock loss if I stop taking it. I let my crown thin out and used Toppik for work but now I think enough is enough, It’s time for second and last HT. Luckily beard BHT evolved to the point that I can discuss having this procedure with a world class Dr. like Kaan Pekiner

Hello, It`s been 11 years since my HT with Dr. Rahal and during this time I didn`t take Propecia nor Minoxidil or anything else. Dr. Rahal predicted that in 5 to 6 years my crown would fade and he was right. Today I have a almost bald crown as you can see in the images. I hope to go ahead with a second HT very soon but I have a short donor area so I might need BHT to compensate. Therefore, I am talking with Dr. Kaan Pekiner because of his world class results with FUE. Dr. Pekiner has done surgeries with more than 1100 grafts from the beard for added density with great results which might be just what I need. Will keep everyone posted when I make the move for my next HT.

Shadow, I am also a very critical person and I call tell you that nobody as been to tell I had an HT. I told a collegue at work yesterday that suffered hairloss (cancer) and she was stunned out of her mind as she never belived it could look so real (her words). So I guess your right I don`t have a true density but it`s close to it and Dr. Rahal was conservative due to my age, meaning that If I go back for an HT in my 30s I will retouch the front density. Scottish Guy, I used Rogaine for 12 months and then stopped, didn`t notice any sheeding. Never used Propecia during this time and never will because I don`t like having to take a drup everyday for the rest of my life or risk having major shedding if I stop taking it. Your HT looks amazing and I am sure you will get great results! Thank you everyone for your comments

Hello everyone! Sorry for my absence and I am back to post my final results Although I would have liked to have had a lower hairline I have to say I am very happy with the results. I am starting to lose hair in the crown and will most likely have to go back to Dr. Rahal ina few years but I praise the fact that I will always have this amazing hairline! Thank You Dr. Rahal! Hi Raphael, From looking at many patients results from both Doc`s, I would tell you to go with Dr. Feller. If you are from Europe like me, call Dr. Rahal or Hasson&Wong and ask for a quote because the Euro is worth more 58% then the Canadian Dollar. BA has special prices to fly to Montreal (Rahal) and Seattle (H&W). I looked at patient results for a while and shortlisted, Feller, Rahal or H&W. Ultimatly went with Dr. Rahal because the hairlines he creates are really impressive and I was 25 so I wanted a nice young looking hairline. Wish you luck!

Very true TC! If I was doing FUE I would go with Dr. Feller but after looking at Dr. Ferundini, maybe I would consider staying closer to home... I would love to see more work from this doctor as there are many FUE results from Dr. Feller and still only 1 strip photo from Dr. Ferundini I think you need to at least look at 6-8 different, patient results photo albums of the same grafts you need in order to decide if you like the Doctors work and there aren`t that many Doctors with these aumont of posts, on this and hairloss help forum. So the choice will always be narrowed hence my quick judging on choosing a HT doc from USA and Canada.

Good choice Clint!! I am also recomending a Friend of mine to go to Dr. Rahal! Azza I think yours is the case when conservative should not be applied as Doctors tend to lower the graft collection on young adults! I think you should have just went with a 6000graft op but I understand Doctors not wanting to do that at a 20 year old! I was 25 when I did mine and luckly could get Dr. Rahal do to a 3425 graft operation Hope your results improve azza and I can see from the pics that they surely will!

Hello! I asked for quotes from Rahal, Hasson n Wong and Feller! Dr. Rahal proved to be not only the one with the most impressive hairlines but the Dr. that gave me the better price. So I went all the way from Portugal to France, then France to Montreal then a Train to Ottawa! 17hour trip but well worth it! So far the results are nothing short than amazing!! My experience was A+ and Dr. Rahal rang up to check on me at the hotel only to be assured as I was handling the post-op with 0 pain! Tuff to pick a better surgeon and if you don`t believe then check my results! Cheers

I would never consider an HT in Europe when the Pound is worth 86% more than the Canadian Dollar! Hurry and get those Canadian HT`s while you can still afford them!

I have to agree with Mick and Pat as I am not really informed on FUE because the only results I took the time to look at were from Dr. Feller. Andone if the problem is affording then realize the pound is: 86% stronger than the Canadian Dollar 48% stronger than the USD Only 18% stronger than the Euro! USA and Canada Doctors offer a reduction on overseas patients! Last Minute offers great deals London to New York! Ask for an overseas patient quote from Dr. Feller and Shapiro Medical Group, add the flight plus 4 nights in a cheap hotel plus 40USD/day for expenses and you will see that it will come to the same as doing it locally but you get an assurance of unrivaled quality! If you can find a top FUE Doctor in Canada then it really comes cheap and BA has specials to Canada!

Are you insane! Haven`t you seen enough botched up work from the UK! I am also 26 and was living in London when I decided to do an HT! After carefull review I concluded the best hairlines were made by Dr. Rahal, Dr. Feller and Hasson and Wong! Got overseas student quotes from all of them and decided on Dr. Rahal. With plane ticket and hotel, It worked out 35% cheaper than going to Dr. Farjo, Devroye or any other European Doc! My advice, do the same! I don`t think I even spent 5000??! Dr Feller is considerd one of the best FUE docs in the world!!

True NW and Bill! I am not that well informed and can only speak on a general basis but when I was doing my research most of the amazing hairlines results did came from those 3 Doctors! I could have done an HT closer to home in Europe but most of the top Doctors do claim they have a lot of European repair jobs! I think that statisticly speaking top USA and Canada HT doc`s do provide much higher HT outcomes, am I wrong by saying this?? I hope not cause it took me 17hours to get to Ottawa!! Speaking of money I can say that all the quotes I got in Europe for 3000grafts were over 35% higher than going with Dr. Rahal I Love Europe but why do an HT here and pay 35% more when I can have a USA or Canada Top Doc do it for less?

2nd HT and you still haven`t learned! You can`t get quality HT in Europe and yeah Devroye and Farjo patients are gonna say they are ok and its true these 2 docs have ok results but not great! How could you not see the hairlines of Dr. Rahal, Dr Feller and H&W? How could you not calculate that paying in USD comes so much cheaper? I went from Portugal to Paris, Paris to Montreal then Montreal to Ottawa for 625??????¬ return After paying for the HT with one of the World top surgeon it came down 20% cheaper then doing with Dr Farjo or Devroye! Why are people that visit this forum still doing HT`s in Europe? I guess it`s great for Rahal,Feller and H&W as they get more repair work!

Thanks Eman! It does seem like it as I am very impressed with the results so far and the hairline is so perfect that nobody can notice I had an HT. The scar is really hard to see and does show up on the pictures I take, I will have to ask for some assistence taking the scar pics. Your HT is also looking pretty good as you seem to have great HT skin like me and that really helps the grafts get in propperly and grow, or so the Dr told me! Dr. Rahal is really an artist and I am sure we are both gonna achieve HT perfection!

Don?‚??t get me wrong I am happy and amazed with the results as the frontal hairline is very strong and similar to what I had when I was 19 years old. I am just thinking that maybe I should have applied more rogaine in the middle area as it seems to be dense but not as much as the front were I usually apply it. Anyways I know that you can`t really get any better than this with 3425 grafts at 8 months but I hope there will still be some improvement to come, if this does happen I will have achieved ultimate HT perfection

Hi Guys, Just posted my 5 months results and although it seems to be looking nice, lately I have been sheeding after combing my hair so I decided to cut it for the first time after the procedure but still there is sheeding... Getting worried I`m loosing my precious grafts! By looking at it wet I can only hope I have more to come cause it is still with a lot of white space.. what do u guys think? Would love to hear what you guys have to say about the sheeding!! Cheers
