Hi Bill, Yes, if anyone gets in touch with me from the clinic, I would be happy to provide my details for them to check. Also, if you want to PM me, I can give you my details. I can't recall the name of the doctor who performed the procedure. I was a bit reckless with the whole thing and rushed in way to soon. I didn't complain, largely because I didn't know if my results were typical or not. I had no knowledge of forums then. Cheers, IR

Hi Stepladder, I rarely post on websites, but I saw your post and thought I should give give my 5 cents worth. I had an Op with transmed (In Istanbul, is this the clinic you refer to?)4 years ago and I was disappointed with the results. I had hairloss in the temple regions only, so the area to cover was not massive. I got roughly 1400 grafts placed. But the growth was really poor. In fact, I had another operation as soon as I could (around 20 months later). I'll try and dig out some fotos, but I don't think I have any before shots. If someone from the clinic posts here, I can ask them for some pics. But based on my experiences, I would think long and hard about going with them. cheers, IR

Hi Guys, Just wanted to give you an update on my progress. I have had some growth the last few months. I would say maybe 60% of the grafts have grown through. So i'm in a better position now, that I was 3 or 4 months ago. I had a meeting with ProHair on Monday and discussed my case. They were honest in their assessment. It wasn't a disaster, but it wasn't what they would have liked either. Bart took a few pictures and maybe someone from the clinic can post them here if asked? I was offered a free procedure or a 50% refund. I opted for the refund because having another HT right now does not suit. In the end, I was satisfied with how they handled my case. I was very angry a couple of months ago, but they did get in contact with me, told me I was not going to be left alone and whatever happens they will make sure I am left as happy as possible. Bart did seem to genuinely care and was honest with his assessment, which I appreciated. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here for the support they offered. It really was a great help. I did make contact with the clinic in Dec/Jan time. They told me to wait until the 12 months are up and then come into the clinic to review the results. I can't see having much growth between now and then, but I guess I will have to wait until the 12 month mark and then decide what to do. Cheers for the comments.

It's hard to say what the precentage is, but it is surely nowhere near 100%. I would say 50% at best. Really disappointing.

Sorry, just to clarify. All the photos posted so far are from my first op. The ones with my hair grown are just before my second op and the ones with my head shaved are just after. I haven't take any pictures since. As soon as I have access to a digital camera, I'll put up photos showing how my hair looks now. It really is almost identical, which is really worrying.

Hi All, This is my first time posting here. I was really hoping for a little advice off some of the more experienced people in here. I'm a 28 year old lad who had a HT done in May of this year. I had 2001 grafts added to the temples and the forelock area. It was my 2nd procedure in the temple area, the first one was 2 years ago, a strip procedure, and I had just 1200 grafts. I was hoping to add some density to the area and consign my toppik to the bin. But, 6 months after the op, I've had little to zero growth. I'm just wondering, is this unusual and should I be worried? It was an FUE procedure. Thanks! (Pics are attached. They are pre-op and immediately post-op. I'll have current pics up asap)
