  1. eman it's a no brainer really. that and plus add a hack doctor to the mix and you are a ticking time bomb....
  2. canadian_buba, as a fellow canadian i gotta congratulate you on taking the plunge and picking one of the best docs in the world. time to just relax for a while now and enjoy the free time. don't be watching sens too much because of your team's suckness level this year and therefore your grafts might come under some kind of stress hindering the process . but seriously happy growing and looking forward to your progress! GQ
  3. i bet you'll be one very happy camper in 6-8 months and the graft placement looks flawless and very dense. your hair colour is a big plus too and will blend in nicely with your scalp. looking forward to your progress and happy growing!
  4. we all know that careful graft extraction along with the graft's dissection/preparation and its counterparts: transection, dehydration, and crushing of follicles play key role in graft survival. let's not forget patient's immunology and physiology as one of the reasons as well. also worth mentioning is that grafts placed on surgeon's gloves for some period of time are subjected to the harmful drying influences (quicker the better). but what about importance in preparing saline solution? i read somewhere that saline solution is supposed to be cold. now my question is: do all doctors keep that solution at the exact same temperature (up to the decimal point)? do all doctors use exactly the same solution mixture? is there a saline solution that could be mixed with some 'secret' ingredient that only few top clinics know about and won't share this with their peers? if these things differ from clinic to clinic, could that be the reason why some clinics graft survival rate and consistency is greater than the others and therefore final results are there to back it up? it's just something that I've been thinking lately so feel free to share some input.

  6. thana i'm bumping this for you in case you already forgot once i get back home from work i wanna see them understood!!! in the kind words of Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog - "i kid i kid " (my lame attempt of humor) cheers
  7. that's a serious head-set you sporting there. a lot of the guys here are very jealous of your mop (me not included ) just to congratulate on your success!!! i agree with PGP stay off the scype now
  8. Bill, just like you mentioned - it's just a theory. through my research and looking at the peoples results, it's just something that sticks out to me (hence the title ??“ 'Is It Just Me??¦.'?). i also asked for doctors' input hoping that they keep such statistic within their patient database but it wouldn't surprise me if it fell on deaf ears . also with my little over a year of researching these boards i got the impression that 75% ??“ 80% of unsatisfied patients whether it be drugs or HTs are people of east asian descent. nothing to prove it with just my observation.
  9. no system is fine as it is. i think lot of us would agree. use the quote feature to reply to a specific post from above.
  10. 115 views and all I hear is echo with a soothing sound of crickets in the background . i know that a lot of indians are vegetarians and vegans so perhaps a certain diet could play an important part in immune system mechanics. also i heard on a radio show not long ago (few weeks) that Johnson & Johnson company is putting curry spice on all of the band-aids that are being sold in India and that they will implement soon the same production in north america. they say that it exhibits some excellent properties on a skin tissue and it's ability for healing. here is an interesting link to the article about curry spice and prostate cancer http://www.bio-medicine.org/bi...state-cancer-2521-1/. so could long exposure to heavy curry diet hinder propecia's and proscar's effect' for the record i'm not indian but just being interested in the science of hair loss in general.
  11. hi guys, i noticed that the darker skinned guys with the straight black hair (more specifically east indies) are having much harder time then any of the other ethnic groups when it comes to HT graft survival and/or fighting the hair loss with just drugs. so is this just me or what do you guys think? i would be interested in some of the doctors' comments as well.

  13. don't even bother dude the place is a ghost town. plus it will cost you an arm and a leg just to get that "privilege" to become a member. last time i checked they want you to give them your SSN, driver's license number, your date of birth, your mother's maden name and few more bullshit requirements before you become one of the "prestige" members of their hairloss community. IMHO not worth a hassle.
  14. hi will27, thanks a lot for the info but i gotta tell you right of the bat that i don't like the news one bit. we all know that Yorkville is one of the most expensive places on the face of the earth, and just a thought that i'll be paying $500 for the smallest container of toppik makes my hair fall off even more i think i'll give dr. Robert Jones hair thickener a shot first once i get out of this lazy winter funk. and then i'll order the real deal from the website that you suggested for comparison reasons. cheers!
  15. dude forget the laser combs unless you wanna feel dr. Feller's wrath one more time. you waited a whole year and now your conscience is free. the HT is your only avenue now. best of luck to you with picking the right doctor and with the future hair loss combat.
  16. forget espn i would contact hbo or better yet travel to LA and talk someone into a deal on making godfather 4 starring RTC yes i agree with you 100% but nicnitro is screwed now since he got his hair back. he can't even play a stunt double for tony soprano role now. on the other hand, you my friend got a lot of potential on being filthy rich.
  17. LOL i totally see the irony/sarcasm in this one. PGP you are a funny guy and your comments always make me laugh. have you ever visited Thailand? business or ???pleasure ???? p.s. sorry to be off topic but i had to ask
  18. check this out it says it all: 71 years young "a picture is worth a thousand words"
  19. have a safe trip mate and all the best!!! don't forget to bring tons of cool UK "choons" with you since on this side of the pond it's lately all crap. turn music into one of your best friends for a while. looking forward to your progress. cheers GQ
  20. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! RTC whooooo.... is that really you????? unbelievable
  21. this is lawsuit waiting to happen in the making. if not i don't know what else could you ask for. the proof is in the pudding.
  22. Flavio, from my extensive research i found out that dr. Robert Jones in Canada does lipo and ht procedures very good. so combining those two together you might be eligible for a discount. ok ok don't get mad now i kid i kid
  23. good choice royrover. everything on the pics looks good. thanks for posting and keep the updates coming. happy growing to you.
