  1. if all of 2500 grafts survive, or majority of them for that matter, i'm pretty sure that you'll be one very happy customer since it looks like that grafts are densely packed. i love the temple points work. keep the updates coming. if you start using minox now you'll have to continue its use along with your fin (and that's forever). otherwise if you quit one or the other at some point, you'll be in for quite surprise. so think twice before you decide on minox. happy growing!
  2. hi LT, my motto is take it like a man or don't take it at all. i also think that my motto applies to majority in here so that's why you are not getting too much feedback.
  3. hi kat79 and welcome to the forum. i checked out the pic you posted and i'll tell you that i would not be able to tell that you have/had any type of hairloss. so the "secret" weapon works pretty good i'd say. cheers
  4. every round was won with sheer dominance. i mean 10-8 on every scorecard on all 4 rounds. the only reason why Penn didn't want to go with 5th was because he didn't want to be humiliated anymore. i mean that was man vs. boy type of fight. i mean that was Superman vs. Robin type of thing. i mean i can't believe all those yanks voted 53% in favor for Penn right before the fight (no offence ), i mean WHAT UP with that? oh well now we know for real who the best pound for pound fighter in the world is. o yeah and spider Silva bring it on. wantego, that boy Machida is something else. i was really impressed by his skills tonight. Machida - shotokan - karate. GSP - kyokushin - karate. do you see the patern? i can't believe he's rocking shotokan style as it's nothing but ballet cb, be proud my friend and stay proud peace
  5. i wanna hear your prediction guys. it's been hyped as one of the most anticipated MMA fights ever. perhaps one of the best fights including all of combat sports. so simply just post the name of the fighter that you guys think will be the winner. PGP i hope you put your mortgage on the line for GSP last night at casino since let's face it dude - your boy Penn is going down tonight with a major Whoop-ass and that's with the capital W i hope you guys will be sport and i hope i'll see at least few posts when i come back tonight after the fight. for all you MMA fans enjoy the event and please don't drink and drive
  6. awesome post Jo!! have you ever considered to write a book or something in that nature related to hairloss and HT world? you are so, how should i put it - aha eloquent - with your words and style of writing is bang on. who knows it might be a best seller for todays failing economy the only solution is ________ (fill in the blank) as in purpose of my post you SILLY you
  7. ok guys you really need to ditch this thread, move on, and stop circling the wagon because there really is no big science or some big mystery behind what HT is and what it isn't. it's really simple and here it is broken down in a nutshell and most of us here already know this: 1. you are ok with a scar(s) on back of your head and you wish never to shave/buzz your head and you are ok with somewhat longer hair in the back, then strip is for you. strip is also recommended for guys that are on higher NW scale (5-7). what or who makes a scar(s) looking good/bad/thin/thick is a whole new science and there are many factors to take into consideration and that's when you research pays off big time. 2. you like shaving your head and hate to have any kind of noticeably visible scar(s) after you HT then go with FUE but expect less growth yield (some people and doctors dispute that theory), will cost you more money, and you will probably need to take few sessions to achieve decent look. 3. no matter what procedure you pick you still need to continue to take your fin/minox combo medications to keep what you have or at least enjoy it (hopefully) until you get really old since it's true that once you start loosing your hair there is no stopping it completely but only slowing it down. hair loss is a life long battle that we boldies have been cursed with. doing your best research for the best doctor(s) out there is a must since there are some very good clinics out there dedicated solely to HTs with amazing track record while on the other hand there are also still tons of bad ones that are responsible for all this "negativity" and doubt that uninformed past or future patient might have/express. if you happened to be very unlucky and you need to stop taking your meds or they stop working for you, oh well what you gonna do, at least you tried your best to make your life and your self esteem better and just hope that future medical advancements really deliver the goods. after all it's not like you lost your limb or your eyesight so let's not make this bigger deal than what in fact really is imho. "measure twice, cut once"
  8. a lesbian? hmmmm.. nicely put PGP thana i bet you are feeling some pressure from this community and your girlfriend must have been very jealous right now Bill you might as well start to charge us membership fee
  9. dalew awesome post man! i'm glad to hear that your "plugz" situation has improved lately. nice closing statements with the touch of irony. cheers
  10. Balboa, thank you for taking your time to post your honest and unbiased views and results. i'm looking forward to your progress as i live in Toronto and i still have Armani on my list as one of the go-to guys in spite of all the claims that i read. so far i only saw few misses from him but i also saw few misses from other top clinics that are on top of my list. in conclusion not enough evidence for me to scratch Armani off my list completely for now. my hairloss is minimal/frontal (thanks to drugs) and if i were NW4-6 it probably would have been a different story/approach/doc. not having a scar in the back is a huge deal for me since i've been sporting buzz #1 & #2 for the last 6 years. happy growing and looking forward to your progress. P.S. Bill i too appreciate that you allow new, whether it be good or bad, results come to surface regardless of who the clinic is and all the politics that are happening behind the scene. and Balboa next time you post some new updates try to create your own topic. 11. right on Eman and congrats on becoming PGP's worst enemy CB, thanks for all the info!!!
  12. hi Clive, i can see why you are not ecstatic with the growth so far but only, as you but it politely, pleased. it's also important to mention that 7 months is still way too early in the game and there is still some growth to be expected and to be seen in the near future. but having said all that I gotta tell you that after looking and comparing your first and last overhead shot picture, i can't help but notice that the big, nice and somewhat thick patch of hair that you had pre-op on your right hand side is now gone. so that begs my question to ask you if you were taking any meds (fin or minox) after your HT up until now. and two if you were taking any meds before the procedure and decided to stop it after. all in all there is definite improvement looking at before/after pics and face-framing did its justice but still i'd love to know what happened to that healthy patch. i'm also aware that the combover could be creating that illusion so your comments would be appreciated Clive. 13. title says it all - the fun has begun indeed! cheers
  14. looking good so far CB! which hat did Dr. Rahal pick for you? if he did can you post a pic of that hat. also did you experiment with tilting a hat forward onto your forehead so you don't rub on your hairline? you will probably look like some kind of 'cool' rapper with the forward tilt but it works (my friend did it like that post-op). a nice brand new hat from foot locker will do the trick. let us know about your hat wearing and also work related issues. happy growing!!!
  15. ok Sherlock we appreciate your detective skills. keep up the good work and keep this forum clean from BS. cheers
  16. Bill, check this one out http://hair-restoration-info.c...?r=30910485#30910485 Dr. Charu is claiming that some doctor/competitor from her area is defaming her. i'd check the IP of that user named Dr. Charu (1 post only).
  17. don't worry hopefull now that Obama is here things should and will change and hopefully soon there will be no scars in the back but only on top and covered with thick hair off course. if not legally - black market 4 sure, as long as trial and error period prevails. you'll be able to pick from few "fine" places like Russia, China, Bulgaria etc if bureaucracy happens to stand in its way again. so far humanity is limited to only two countries more or less. boy would i be pissed if i happened to live in a third world country. i said hopefully hopefull hang in there bud!
  18. Bill, i do agree that hair_boy came across somewhat "strong" right from the start, but i think that clear-cut suspension was a bit too harsh on him. all of us here know that you are one of the first guys to give great advice to newbies and tries to answer some if not the most tough questions for veterans when no one can and therefore you should have been shown(deservingly so) way more respect than what he showed. so could it be that the statements like "it's just paid words" or "i skip over your comments" were taken little too personally? that I guess is up to us to speculate, but it could be very much so the reason why he got banned so quickly. i know that LMS got his second punishment after few verbal warnings in form of one week suspension before he got boot for good from that evil guy Farrel, and i think that hair_boy should have had the same deal. what really happened with him and Dr. Rassman, again who knows, but i personally don't think that he was lying about it. Dr. Rassman in his reply never disputed any of his claims and that's why i think it was not a lie. the way fair punishment system should be set up is in this order and again just my personal opinion: 1. verbal 2. temporary suspension 3. permanent as in three strikes and you out, but what would deterrent be for each? up to you Bill as long as you let us know. this is my honest opinion and observation for all of this. GQ
  19. i'm afraid that's the case since the black and white contrast is more accentuated.
  20. i'll reserve my final thoughts until Bill confirms that banning did in fact took place.
  21. i know that first 5 - 10 days you are best off if you sleep at 45 degree angle. but haw about after that??? perhaps people that are used to sleeping on their backs tend to stretch their HT scar more than the ones that are used to sleeping on their stomachs/side of the head. this might be stupid question but i think it's fair to ask since i never read anything regarding this. me personally, i am a stomach sleeper.
