  1. I feel like I am in the same boat... I'm about 2.75 months and I definitely see growth already... however there are some areas where there is growth and then some small gaps between where my original and new hairline... hopefully it will all fill-in in the coming months. GOOD LUCK!
  2. sweet we have one of those thingys in my gym.... i just get so bored using that damn thing.
  3. What exercises are people doing? Seems like things like sit-ups are probably not to be risked. I have this wheel thingy for ab exercises that i want to start using but I dunno if its going to stretch my scar...
  4. i'm afraid that's the case since the black and white contrast is more accentuated. You mean black and yellow...
  5. I've been worried about scar stretching as well. What i've been trying to do when exercising is avoid exercises that make me look down. Mostly doing a ton of cardio and keeping my eyes straight ahead when doing any other workout.
  6. Thanks for the input guys. I think it also has to do with hair characteristics. I am asian, so we are not super dense compared to other ethnicities... I wonder if the scar is easier to see with black hair as well.
  7. I think you will find that most people on the forum are anti-laser comb. They "could" offer some benefit, but probably not worth the money. Probably the results are not consistent enough among different people... who knows you maybe one of the lucky ones.
  8. nice results Eman! I think your results are looking really good. I'm at the 2 month point myself... and honestly my concern right now is more with my scar than anything else... your scar looks great!
  9. I'm wondering what people feel like is a good time point post-transplant to know how short you can cut your hair without seeing the scar? I'm about 8 weeks now post... I remember cutting it with a #6 at around 4 weeks and being able to see the scar line... Right now I use clippers with a #7 and can't see the scar unless I hold a mirror to the back of my head and look closely. I realize that at 4 weeks some of it was probably due to shock-loss... however I'm getting afraid to approach a #6 clipper now. I see posts of people shaving down to a #4,#3,#2 clippers... but how long is that post transplant? If I could get it to #3 or #2 I would be pretty happy.

  11. Can we get a little more info? How long from the procedure was your post-op pic? Who was your doctor who performed the procedure. I think the post op pics are very blurry....
  12. So 7 weeks post-op... is all the prickly hairs i feel on my scalp grafts growing out or grafts that haven't fallen out yet?
