  1. i can't find your web log......
  2. Flavio, i would agree with you if we were talking about computers and technical stuff. but they still need to find the cure for aids, cancer, breast cancer, various skin deseases, and many more other illnesses that there is still no cure for yet. and i would imagine that that's their priority at this time. but don't get me wrong i'm still on the same page as you and deep down below i too still have some hope for that faithful and 'illuminating' day
  3. Thinman, did you have a strip or fue? i think it's just a seasonal shedding since it's that time of the year when shedding is common in most homo sapiens. don't worry too much bro.
  4. kokonut, why not go to your family doctor and he can prescribe you minox 5% for 3,6,12 months or as much as you like. then you go to shoppers drug mart or any of the counterparts (rexall or pharma plus) and you all set. if you have a good health benefits at your workplace then they'll pay 80% for you. just a thought. cheers
  5. hi Curious, everybody is different but i was replying to Flavio since i know he uses minoxidil so here is my rule of thumb in general: 1. if you have a dry hair then you could probably take the liberty and skip a day or two in between the washing. 2. if you have the oily hair and don't use any hairloss products then yes you should be washing your hair every day. 3. if you applying minox 2x per day regardless whether you have 'greasy' hair or not you should be washing your hair every day since you get the maximum benefit after applying the minoxidil right after you wash your hair. 4. if you're applying the minox and have a dry hair without washing it on a daily basis is that even possible???? P.S. my hairloss started once the 'greasy' hair started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. wow great find ceasar from 8-16 months is also huge! so i guess it's true when they say that the hairline is last to grow after HT.
  7. yes i agree that for 3168 grafts it looks very thin. but also i see that your hair is wet on all of your shots and it seems that you took the pictures right after you applied minox. i know from my personal experience that i have twice as much hair right before i put that dreadful minox. so few more shots with dry washed hair would be required for me to come up with the final verdict. court is in recess.
  8. OMG!!! this thread started little over 4 years ago. and now what??? we still waiting and saying the same thing 'wait few more years'. you know that our grandfathers and our fathers were living with these kind of hopes from year to year. if the miracle cure is not found by December 2012 then it will never be found. let's hope that the 'illumination' is what i think it is Mayans knew what they were talking about
  9. hi Flavio, i also had the 'greasy' hair problem about 4 years ago. i went to my doctor at that time and he told me about nizoral shampoo. that was before i started reading forums btw. ever since then my 'greasy' hair problems have disappeared. now i'm on proscar and minox and my hair improved dramatically especially crown area where all of my hair grew back. miracle i know. also it is very good for your hair and scalp to be washed once every day as well as your whole body.
  10. how many grafts???? thanks for posting!!!
  11. shlomo35, the hair looks realy good for only 6 months!!! maybe after 1 yr mark when you take the new pics we'll see you smiling on them
  12. dude if you don't pay for your HT will you ever be sure if the doc is giving you his best for free? i would be so scared on that chair and would be thinking am i wasting my precious donor area. but again that's just me
  13. sr, are you popping MSM + vitamins? that should speed it up a bit.
  14. i thought that the transplanted hair can be "trained" if you want it to go in a certain direction. have you tried using gel to hold it in a desired direction. i'm preaty sure that i read that info somewhere.
  15. congratulations latinlotus!!! so far so good. looks like a clean work. you are my fellow canadian so why did you pick dr. cooley? why not H&W or Rahal since you went the strip route? P.S. please get back to me on the toppik topic cheers
  16. thank you latinlotus, yes i know about that website since it's the first one that pops out if you google it. anyways i see they say that S/H is free if you order over $100. so that medium container 50gm is CAD95.95 (plus tax is $100+). free S/H? how long will it last? how long you wait for the shipment? they ship UPS? fedex? please let me know. thanks
  17. wow what a story!!!! i feel sorry that this happened to you bro. yes you will definitely have hard time finding some doctor that will vouch for you in the court. they all stick for each other just like cops, lawyers, teachers and almost any other profession that you can think of. Bill -
  18. shedding is very common in fall/winter time. i know it is for me. so wait and see when spring/summer comes you might notice improvement. I know I do. my $0.02.
  19. it's always nice to hear those personal stories and how their 'new' hair makes the big difference in their personal lives. i'm very happy for you and for anyone else who made that crucial decision in their life to get the HT and improve their look and confidence in everyday life. i checked your profile uncjim and I wanna see those new pics from the 3rd HT. you look great btw.
  20. thanks Bill for the warm welcome!!! if that guy Farrel should happen to be a supervisor in some kind of company, you could bet your last penny that every employee would be calling him an A**hole with the capital A. so for the love of god i hope he never becomes one in his pathetic life for the sake of humanity and just stay where you are and pretend to be a god of your unsecured/hacked hair loss forum. there i got it off my chest
  21. hi Bill, i never purchased anything online and i never will. indentity theft, not knowing if the product is real/good, refund hustle, S&H fees and probably few more are some of the reasons why. call me paranoid but better safe then sorry, plus i'll be purchasing that product more then once if i happened to like it. i specified the location in my original post (toronto). cheers
  22. does anyone know where i can buy toppik in canada (toronto area specifically). google search found online purchase only. i need physical store other then costco. any input appriciated. thanks
  23. that guy Farrel is really something else 2 months ago i wanted to register on his site and i was not allowed since i didn't provide my "real" ISP email address. if that's not a fascism then i don't know what is.
