Hi all, I've just updated my blog with 11 month pics Really really happy, honestly the best thing ive done in my life ever! I am so much more confident now, more than i have ever been the hairs gone from being a kind of wirey feel to a completely natural feel and i'm going out alot, even posing for photos and checking myself in the mirror/shop reflections and its all good! Well the hairs all good. The fat next and then comes the face...hmmm lol

Hi all, I've just updated my blog sorry for the long delay!!! Sorry to all for not updating as often as i should be i've had a long line of reasons why but i won't bore you with all my personal problems... I'll just promise to keep it more updated from now on. So here we are at 6 months, still early days so i'm told but i'm so so happy already people have mentiontioned how good i look, a female friend who begged with me not to get it done said she could now see why i did it and was happy to admit she was wrong and i made the right decision to go ahead because i look great. (she has only known me 2 years or so and i started loosing hair at 18 or so and she said i look so different but in a good way!) The thing that i'm most happy with is for the first time in over 5 years i can look up and see hair, i can look at my reflection in shop windows and not have to look at my feet all the time, hell sometimes i can even look in the mirror and think "i don't look half bad today!" lol! At this early stage i want to thank Dr Feller and Spex and the rest of the team i'm so glad i found you all and i'm so glad i found you and you've changed my life forever already and i'm still growing!!! Alot of people said i was too young to get it done and i shouldn't do it but i can say you were wrong! It's the best thing i've ever done, yes i'll need another when the crown starts to go some more but with some nanogen/HSR on the crown i can now go out be confidence in my apperance and feel happy with the way i look, i've never been more happy and confidence in my body as i am now and it improves every week it seems! Thanks to you all Especially to Dr Feller, his team, spex and everyone who supported me. I'll be back with monthly updates from now!!

I don't really want to get involved in the arguement but i did just want to say balody that comment i don't think was very thought out would you like to state why it should be made against the law for a 23 year old to have a HT? I'm 23 and 2.5months ago had a HT with Dr Feller and so far am happy, (not much going on there yet but i'm not even 3 months i've gotta be realistic i've got a long way to go) Anyway, each case should, as has been said above, should be looked at as an individual case to say anyone under a certain age can't have a HT is not looking at the individuals case. I fail to see why a young person should not have a HT but an older person can? Lets say theres a chance the young person could lose more hair well so could an older person could they not? A NW3 40 year old could still lose more hair and have the same effect as a NW3 25 year old! I hope that when my newly transplanted hair is fully matured in 14 months or so time i can live a happy and eventful life instead of a solitary, confined, unhappy life. I'm not stupid i know in the future i WILL probably need another HT but i don't think me losing my hair when i'm older, married with hopefully someone who loves me for who i am and not my hair with kids etc that hairloss will bother me as much as it does now, maybe it will, but i don't think so. Right now i wanna be able to go out with girls, party, socialise without thinking "girls will never like me i'm bolding" or "there looking at my bolding head so are they etc" So for now when the hair grows out which i am certain it will and using a little concealler i think i can enjoy my youth. And the future i'll decide that when it comes taking into account Dr Feller told me i had enough donor for possible 2 more HT's should i need them.

Hey Guys, 2 Month update pics added to my blog

Shockloss is the existing hair either near the donor or recipent areas that is lost either for a while or perminantly due to the shock of activity around it. Shedding is the loss of the new recipent hair often a few weeks/months after the transplant as it goes into a resting stage for a few months and then (hopefully) should grow back.

I'm 2 weeks short of being 2months post op and just wondered if this is enough time to wait before wearing a motorcycle crash helmet? I don't want to wear it if it could cause problems with growth etc. Any ideas? Many Thanks Ad

Mike, Thanks i've been on propecia for almost a year now and have some rogaine foam but so far have not started the rogaine. You are correct the crown is thinning but the front was my priority (out of sight out of mind type thing lol) no seriously i wanted the front sorted which it now should be i can use a product like nanogen on the crown for now but i am indeed hoping to get the crown sorted in the future. Dr Feller said my donor was good and i had enough to do another one and possible two more procedures should i need/wish to. hairdoyle, replied to your pm dude. E-man, Thanks for the kind words, the pics are with a new camera i got for going to New York that was my plan hopefully as i'm just getting on with normal life the time will fly by (thats the idea anyway).

buba, I only really wear the hat outside so it's not too bad theres two people i work with and they have seen it now so i don't mind them seeing it anymore so i literally wear the cap from the car to the office door then it comes off and spend the day with it off until home time. I was debating on buzzing it down but decided against it i've never had it really short and just chickened out i guess lol but also it hides the scar at the minuite too. Ad

Congrats mate should look great when grown out me and you are almost in the same growth frame so will be good to compare growth times
