  1. By the way, I despise fear incitement and paranoid theories. All I am trying to do is share information I have found with the community.
  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tuskegee_syphilis_experiment Read the article and tell me how much you can trust the FDA for your medicines.
  3. Great work. I wonder what kind of maintenance he will go through. Does Dr. Atocha recommend any diet or topical creams lotions?
  4. There are studies that confirm that testosterone levels are higher in weight lifters. How that affects hairloss depends on the individual, but it generally accelerates hairloss. Also the majority of weightlifters ingest steroids, which certainly contribute to hairloss.
  5. You should have asked me. For acne, there is something infallible, a green tea bag combined with a tablespoon of moisturizer applied on the affected zone every night along with aloe vera and washed out the day after. Give it a week and you'll remember me for the rest of your life.
  6. What do you think, science is like playing with toys?
  7. I don't recommend Finasteride, unless the person hates himself and is into masochism, or are willing to take the risk of developing serious illness. As I wrote before, a combination of aerobic(jogging, hiking, slow bicycle ride, mid-weight lifting) and anaerobic(sprint, martial arts fight, rowing, military training, etc.) exercise is the key, only one will not be as effective. Heavy weight lifting is not OK by itself, but perhaps adding sprint to the daily routing will compensate.
  8. I just read that Dr. Cooley and Feller are backing this up as well. It must be something big. I am excited for what this may bring in the very near future.
  9. (Link removed by moderator - See Terms of Service) Apparently, this method with scientific studies backing it up, allows hindered hair follicles to be revitalized, and also helps the newly transplanted hair to re-adapt. If you scroll down, skipping the Italian text, you will find excerpts from such scientific study done in Florida by Dr. Greco. I wonder what you think about this.
  10. According to studies more than ~1 hour of exhausting aerobic exercise reduces testosterone levels. That does not mean that DHT levels necessarily are reduced, but it is correlated with hair loss halt. Weight lifting and testosterone levels are related in that if a lot of weight is lifted in comparison to the person's weight, testosterone will be produced temporarily. Again, DHT levels do not necessarily temporarily augment. A good combination of aerobic/anaerobic exercise is recommended, I wouldn't recommend heavy weight lifting, only bursting, fast, medium weight and many repetitions of weight lift.
  11. Wow, great advice; I wish every Doctor was... well... an ethical Doctor like you are Dr. Lindsey. Some people seem rather forcing one to buy a product more than helping the patient.
  12. By the way, I did not know the laser comb was FDA approved! (Link removed by moderator)
  13. Oh, OK, so he appeared on TV deceiving people into believing that only through the hair transplant he bought may people achieve his result, without mentioning a concealer. That was not mentioned in the original post.
  14. Sometimes you just must board a plane to where the excellent Hair restorers are.
  15. Why is the use of a concealer so wrong?
  16. Well, thank luck you feel no side-effects.
  17. That's equivalently stupid as stating that you feel side-effects yet keep ignoring them. I am sure there are a lot of people in denial. They'll have to deal with it sooner than later. People that authentically do not feel side-effects are lucky. But For the sake of people that do feel side-effects, stating that there's no other situation but pure paranoia and psychological suggestion that they feel the side-effects is not only offensive but dangerously misleading. There is plenty of evidence on the side-effects, in fact it is on the very Propecia manual. Do yourself and the community a favour and talk about your experiences and people that you know in person and meet frequently, but abstain from talking about people suffering from side-effects, as clearly you have no clue what you are talking about. Avoiding bias is clearly not your specialty. You are just justifying taking the pill and feel comfortable about it, while misinforming other readers, and offending side-effects sufferers.

Little by little, you are still in your first months.
  19. So the crown is more valuable, from the hair transplant point of view?
  20. She is fine. At the beginning students mocked her but now that she receives the attention from the media she became famous and they stopped harassing her. She won a Guinness record of hair count. She plays, dances and swims like the majority of children her age now. Lets wish her the best.
  21. Well, I found some thrill in the irony of complaining regarding hair-loss while others probably complain about too much hair. There's a bit of everything in life, although her case is much rarer than ours.
  22. While we complain about baldness, some are having the opposite discomfort: La chica más peluda del mundo en MSN Video
