Severn; LOL Bosley and MHR are huge. I am sure there are some honest workers for both companies. Do you think the majority of the workers actually think they are doing wrong to a client? I honestly think its a small percentage at the top that actually knows that. I assist the Italians when they come to H&W, every year the percentage of repair patients become less and less. This is because of more research people are making better decision. Therefore anybody that wants to go to any big chain clinic has alot to resources to base there decision on. If many people had that opinion the majority of the successful companies would have trouble hiring people People shop and work at Walmart to save money knowing fully well there that some of the products are made by a company that pays there employees the equalivalent of a bowl and rice and tea for 12 hours work. Do you shop at Walmart???

I feel bad for all the honest workers for both companies. We all know the history of both companies so I dont want to get into that. Bolsey as bad as some people feel they are, have been very important to the hair industry. The majority of people probaly found out that transplants were an option for hairloss because of companies like Bolsey.They opened up alot of people eyes showing that transplants were no longer looked like doll hairs. Its too bad for many people the age of internet was around at the begining. I am only saying this to look at the positive now if I want to get to the negative that would be another topic.

I normally dont like to get involved in this dicussion. I dont know much about Neograft so I dont want to comment. What I will say in my opinion the pricing is too high. Most people in my views probaly need an average of 3000 grafts at that pricing it would cost $47,500. As a new poster I understand why you would feel this way. Doctors reputation on this forum are based on patients that have gone to see them and photos that they show. I have never been to Dr. Feller or Dr. Shapiro but I would have no problem refering anybody to them. Over the last 10 years I have read many posts and seen many photos about these doctor and know they are world class. If you say you had an amazing transplant I am happy for you. Sometimes its better to read the forum for a bit of time before you post because it is probaly the most educated and intelligent posters on the internet. Just my opinion

Thanks to the internet and forums like this people are able to make well informed decisions about there transplants. When I enquired about a transplant in 1995 I thought not only Bosley was the only choice but the best. When I was quoted $19 a graft for 800 grafts I was thankfully scared off because I didnt have the money. I was reading on the internet.

I see alot of patients both live and then after in pictures. Honestly these high definition pictures and videos are not flattering. In real life the patient always looks better. A few times when I was in the office helping italians I have seen patients walk in that are in the video and am always in shock. I personaly understand why few clinic would want to show high definition pictures and video, the patients looks worse then in real life. I commend H&W not as a person that assist them but as a patient for there honesty. I have mentioned to Joe that he needs to show pictures in both the high def and the standard low definition to show the different for every patient.

Dr. Lindsey congradulations on the recovery of your daughter I am happy to hear that. Have you ever disagreed with Dr. Feller?

I wish all the people that live here from Toronto and Montreal would feel the same way as you and go home / I am sick of going to the Canucks game and seeing all the Montreal fan wearing Habs jersey or the Maple Leaf fans wearing a paper hat over there head.

BillyJ; Vancouver is a beautiful city, many patients that I have assisted have wished they stayed longer. If you are able to take advantage of staying longer and seeing Vancouver I would definately recommend it.

Living in Vancouver it was definately special and downtown went nuts right after the game until late last night. Vancouver is usually a very laid back city (Borecouver) with the Olympics the city has never been so lively and full of energy. Looking really good. We are quite similar in our hairloss and our grafts ( I received 150 less) but for 5 month it looks great. Cant wait to see your results in the future

I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it. Its been 9 years since I recieved my last hair transplant 1900 grafts in the crown in 2001 (Feb 1). My hair really wasnt that bad but it definately need to be beefed up a bit. I been a few years that I have been debating getting one done and finally decided to 3 months ago. As many of you know I assist the italians with translation for Hasson and Wong. On the day of the consult I ran into an old friend that just recieved 5500 grafts and he told me that I looked fine. Regardless the day was easy and it seems to go quick. Its not quite the same thing when you are translating than recieving a hair transplant yourself. Now that I am 41 my hairloss is not as important as it once was but dont get me wrong I wanted more hair. This is my breakdown. Dr. Hasson 1479 singles 2067 doubles 301 triple and quads. I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. Tykocinski. Dr. Wong speaks highly about him. I think the reason why you don't see more pictures is because there are laws in Brazil that don't allow you to post before and after pictures.

Why not post it so that everbody can see it? If you show clear before and after pictures posters will give you there honest opinion. Although I assist H&W with translation I don't consider myself a competitor.If you read my post you will see that I have alot of nice things to say about other doctors as well as giving advice to some posters about why I would recommend the doctors. Anybody who has no problem with travelling and researchs the internet can come up with a good decision on there own.

If you live minutes away from them then you would live minutes away also from Hasson and Wong. If you are interested in a hair transplant I recommend you go to both clinics for a consutation. I am familar with this clinic. Dr. Shapiro is a world famous dermotologist but I will keep my opinion to myself concerning their hair transplants to myself. Fiat and Ferrari are made very close to each other they both do the same thing but are they the same???? Good luck

I am in no way defending anyone. I read that thread and yes it was interesting. I respect what Player was saying but at the end Dr. Rassam has a good reputation the whole thread made little sense. I think in time we will see what the growth will be and who is right or wrong. I try to understand both sides, Dr. Rassman and Player. Although I don't neccessarily agree on changing title I also believe that damaging a doctors reputation without waiting for final results isn't correct either. If somebody is researching Dr. Rassman and comes across this thread saying how somebody got screwed it would be damaging. Again I am not taking sides only saying that there needs to be patience until you see the final result.

I have not heard of Dr Halford but heard of MHR. You have been wise to research before making a decision and picked a good website to do so. Hair transplant is very unique because your transplant hair is precisious and can't be replaced. Therefore making a wise educated decision takes alot of research and time. Good luck on your decision! BLUEGREEN; If you are indeed satified why are you looking to get a second transplant in INDIA??? You are new at posting but whenever somebody comes out of no where and praised a little known doctor after somebody asked about him is fishy. Although it is quite possible that you are being sincere, words without before and after pictures or without history of posting have very little to no merit.

No disrespect to Dr. Cohen I don't know much about him. Due to reputation and results that I have seen on forums over the last 8 years I would easily recommend Dr. Feller. Regardless you should find out as much about both the doctors and make your decision.

Thats really expensive in my opinion. 750 is not alot of grafts. You need to research alot more and check out this site. I have not heard of Dr Theodoros Vernikos but have heard of Norton Clinic and rather keep my opinion to myself. Stay patient and keep looking until you are 100% sure all your opinions. Remember there is only one thing worse than going bald that is recieveing a bad transplant.

I understand that everybody economic power is different but shopping transplant at the cheapest price can be dangerous. We are not talking about two of the same car, so results will definately vary. Having said that the most expensive transplant are not neccessarily the best or the cheapest the worst. I do not know anything about Dr. Mahadevia looking at his pictures on his website I am not impressed (Pictures too small, bad lighting, blurry). You have done the right thing researching before you make a decision, you need to find clients that are not from the clinic to be sure of your decision. I do know things cost less in India so this price could be possible. That is around $.75 US a graft so I would not be surprised if that is the price. There is a myth about Trichophytic. It doesn't guarantee you a great scar. If I doctor consistenly doesn't have good scars with the tricho it is not going to make a different. For the doctor that have close to pencil thin results its the cherry on the banana split. Regardless I wish you alot of luck on your research and decision. Remember there is only one thing worse that losing your hair that is recieving a bad transplant.
