If you are consulting in Philadelphia stay away from Dr. Gallagher and Tom Spatula. I was severely butchered by them. Tom is a pathological liar and a complete loser. I ran his address and the Doctors address for a lawsuit. I am going to run a check on Tom. I can't believe Dr. Gallagher would let him Tom represent him.

He did work for Bosley so he does have plenty of experience. I believe he is head of ethics or something at the ISHRS also.

My redness was close to 4 months. I have a pale complexion to begin with. My scars took close to a year for the pink to go away.

I may have some coulped fu's removed which are grafty and stick straight up. If I am densely packed will replanting the fu's at the right angle transect other surrounding fu's?

Damo, I wish you would stop recommending the ISHRS. There are dozens of mediocre butchers on that site. Many have real bad reputations. The site is marketing BS where-as all Doctors pay an annual fee to be listed. It is obviously not based on merit. I tried e-mailing them with a complaint and they never responded. Please don't innocently lead on a newbie who may make a lifelong bad decision with a Doctor from that site.

How much a graft in the us? I might go to India. Any one have a picture of a lateral slit blade compared to a needle? My fue came out like butter. Dr. Jones in Canada did about 1k in 3-4 hours. Longer to plant than remove.

Kez, When a good Surgeon stays with an unethical hair mill he choses to condone it. It is wrong and the surgeon has poor ethics and character. He is an accomplice. The Doctor is not desperate for a job. He is not a hard luck case. He knows he is operating on someone under false pretenses, lies, and manipulation. It not like he is in the mob where he can't get out. They see very easy money; most run on greed.

I agree with Gil. There are mental patients on heavy drugs for years with full heads of hair. You also have health nuts that are NW6.

I got butchered by a former recommended Dr. on this site. Robert blamed me and told me I made a bad judement call. Until you are butchered you will never know the pain, embaressment, and shame. I believe he has good intentions but is too naive in certain areas. He has a little too much to say. He did not even pay for his own HT. I spent my whole 401k pension on repair work.

Be careful of most HT surgeons with a lot of experience. Back in the day most were trained at Bosley, MHR, etc. BAD HABITS !!!

Density in the donor area will return. It can be several years if you have a tight scalp like me.

Ballonman, How many in the hairline ? How much lower did you place it ? The grafts look spread too far apart in the hairline.

I tweezed some of the plugs. They started to bleed. Anyone else have that happen to them. The plugs are 18 months old. Thanks

Dr. Charles once said a crown can easily eat up 5k of grafts.

Gillinator, I was told the donor area has 30k to 40k of grafts. Using 10% is 4k. How could that be over depleted? Please comment on how many grafts you think one could harvest fue?

Gillinator, I was a diffuse thinner with a very receded hairline. I had a very strong widows peak. I had 800 grafts my first session. Basically a strip of say 1500 to 1800 grafts was taken. They were then doubled and triple into coupled fu's. It looked grafty and I had shock that never returned. I went for a second 5 months later. I do not believe I transected any grafts due to all former grafts being spaced far apart and quite obvoius. I then had more shock which made the total of 1800 mixed grafts look very obvious. I had a mixed graft section in ignorance. My hair is extremely thick and course. I had Elvis hair. The plugs really stood out. At this point I had 2 stretched scars. I decide to do several small fue sessions with Dr. Jones, one of which was a scar reduction. I have a total of about 3900 grafts. The real number is most likely close to 5k as many were doubled and tripled. I can get about 3k more by strip and have 3 to 5 thousand of fue avaible. I will most likely wind up with 7 to 8 k of grafts total.

I maintain all their foreclosures and also market them. My company also manages commercial and residential real estate. We provide appraisals also. You know what they are thinking without them saying it(poor hairtransplant). Any suggestion? Tuopee, toppik, hair style. I feel akward in a big hotel with dozens of people.
