Don't go to Dr. Gallagher. He did sub-standard work on me. He does unnatural mini-micro's also.

A valuable lesson I learned; smaller Doctor's have to do 1 session a day because that is all they can handle. If I could do it again I would get 2 megasessions.

Ballonman, When I said 40k, I meant gross hair, not all available for transplanting. 40k would seem the average in a non-balding donor area. After all, the average head of hair has 110k grafts. Can I e-mail you privately? I may go to your Dr. I am wondering if a Dr. can do all 3 to 4 hair grafts creating high density. What is the gross amount of grafts you have? Are you considered finished?

Ballonman, I received 1350 fue grafts. I was told that the donor area has 30 to 40 k of grafts. You removed roughly 10% of that hair. How many more grafts do you think you can get? How noticable is the thinning. My hair is a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. I think if my back and sides thinned it would blend in nicely.

Honestly, If bald was sexy then why doesn't a model in playgirl, or a movie star, or a James Bond shave their heads to look like a nw6 or nw5. I did notice Hugh Hefner getting the solar panel but he still pulls chicks. Show me an average, balding working man, with a lot of "confidence" getting all the girls.

If you need a ht you are probaly going to be a nw6. I would do my top and crown completly; if there is any hair left then you can do the extra's. Remember, repair work is triple the price of a well planned ht.

All woman go thru stages. They may date a bald man when they are in their "looks don't matter stage", or when they feel humble.. Woman want the best they can get; just like men. Some men shave there head but the woman knows it's a phase and he has a full head of hair underneath. If bald is sexy then why doesn't Brad Pitt shave his hair in a horse-shoe pattern only for all his movies. I was a 3-4 at 24. I did have Elvis hair. You need a mature woman who doesn't run on emotion. I do think bald is ok when you are older; by then nobody cares. Most of these famous people mentioned are just that, rich and famous. It is a known fact that young hot girls will date anyone famous; even bald , dirty, heroin addicts just because they have fame. I wish I had the courage to go bald.

I asked Dr. Jones if 5 months was too early. I had small repair work done. I asked him if he could see the lateral slit scar even if no hair was present. He said he could with his magnifying glasses. My experience was always 3 or 4 months for growth. I did take over a year to really thicken. This last ht is sprouting at 8 months due to scarred area.

I am almost 8 months post op from 1k fue from Dr. Jones. My areas was scarred from some type of lighting bldae. I am just starting to sprout a hairline. It does take much longer in scarred area's. Thank god it's growing.

Did any one notice graft prices have drop to roughly 2-3 dollars in the last years. A couple of years ago 4-5 dollars was average.

I am almost 8 months from a 1k fue touch up with DR. Jones. I am just starting to sprout a hairline. This is my 4th surgury with one more to go. It was a scarred area so growth was painfully slow. This fue might work. I will know in another 2 months.

I was butchered and lied to also by a previously recommended surgeon. I am glad Pat does not defend any of these creeps. I do believe some of these Docs con Pat for a while till he catches on. Buyer beware in this HT business.

Was it the Doctor or patient's laxity? It doesn't take a brain surgeon to suture. 3k grafts may have been too big for his laxity. Did it stretch along the whole scar or just that area ?

I don't believe you can ever camo plugs. I have 4 to 9 hair coupled fu's. I had 2 corrective surgeries to try to hide them. They are still noticable. 2 doctors told me core them. One doctor claims you will see any type of mixed graft. My experience is that they will always be noticable. Altair will still need more sessions. I am glad he is on his way and hope we can vote for him again.

Ditto for the coupled FU I was given.

Smoothy, How many grafts from the first and second ? Pat got an HT 5 months later.

You won't see any nw6's with a full head of hair. HT's give you a little on top. Basically there is not enough hair. Most men run on emotion rather than logic when getting an ht. I have never seen the "illusion" of a full head of hair yet, meaning fom any nw 5-6. If you are a 5-6 you will always look balding or thin.

If you you get a bd one you will be wearing a hat forever.

I was only able to get to small strips as my scalp was considered extremely tight.
