    3000k grafts for the crown !!! You will need 2000k on the mid scalp first !!!

    A very disreputable Doctor quoted me 800 grafts(low ball). Within 4 years I had 5,400 done. He stole 4 years of my life.

    I have to agree. The grafts are spaced too far apart. I was in the same position and went back to the same doctor (big mistake). I have a 5th repair session this week for fine tuning. Please look into as many other Doctors as possible before making a decision. ISHRS, magazines, etc. make no difference. There are plenty of butchers lurking around in this high profit business. I would read all articles on this forum for at least 6 months.

    Don't they charge something like $ 12 dollars a graft. Way to much I think. Neither of them have that much experience. I would go to Woods for that kind of money.

    Don't be misleading. 99.9% of ht's are detectable under close examination. The hairs will always be thicker than naturally thinning hair and you don't have enough to go around so the spacing will not be as close as your original hair. You will have small white dots around each hair as an incision was made leaving a tiny scar. A hair transplant is for a bald man to get a little hair on top or for someone, say an nw2 to get a hairline. Other than that you will still look balding and receding. You will never have chick magnet hair. I have Elvis hair so my ht looks bushy. Good luck.

    Does 5 hours of surgery warrant $ 8.00 an fue graft? That's $ 6,400 (800 grafts) for a hairline.

    I am not saying no growth or poor yield. I had 3 small surgeries, 350 fue, 1000 fue, 700 fue. A total of 2k grafts does not appear dense over the front and mid scalp. I don't have any gaps, everthing filled in, but as with all HT's density is sparce even with my Elvis density. Does any one know the cuurent prices of FUE. I need about 700 more grafts.

    I went to Dr. Jones in Canada for about 2k of fue grafts. Growth was average.

    Dr. Gallagher is a butcher. His assistant Tom is a liar, a real loser with no other job than to prey on balding men. Dr. Gallagher will not admit that he ran a big hair mill. Both are real sleaz bags.

    I toke some powerful medication at 19 where I lost some vision, hearing, and hair. The hearing improved but the eyes and hair got worse. I had thinning at 19 until 25 where I started Propecia. At 30 I had 3,800 grafts. HT's are not the answer for the depression; in fact it brought on more depression as the results were poor. I wish I accepted hair loss and moved on. Hair loss sucks and it does change your life. You will always look thinning with a transplant as there is not enough hair to go around

    I stopped propecia after 3-4 years as I thought it was not working. In 30 days I went from a NW 2-3 to a NW5. Propecia will not last forever so just wait till it stops working before quiting.

    All of my surgeons commented on how tight my scap was. I had some stretching when being sutured. I had about a good 1/2 by 4 inch scar for about 8 months. Hair did grow in but I am still left with a little under a 1/4 inch scar. Wait about a year. You will see a big differnce.

    A nw 5 and above could easily eat up 5k worth of grafts.

    Most scalp shows on all transplants over a wide area. You orginally have 40k to 50k of follicles on a nw6. 4k to 5k of grafts is only 10 to 15 % of your orginal density.

    Acceptance of the situation is best. That is easier said than done.

    I think frontal pic # 1 looks grafty and poor to begin with. Not very natural. I wanted to sue my Doctor.I was afraid if a judge looked at the Doctor's and consultant poor HT ;then how did I think mine would like better.

    Hair loss is a curse. It is most unfortunate. You can't compare fat to bald. Women can control eating habits and being fat. Women can look great till 50 if she stays thin. You have no control over losing hair and it is instant turn-off. Men have it much worse in the grand scheme.

    I would probaly wait. An HT right now may cause permanent shock loss.

    The term good donor hair can be misleading as no one has enough donor hair to cover a balding NW 5-6. Thinking good donor hair will give you hope that you never appear bald. Really thick hair like mine looks unnatural transplanted as most men have thin hair on top and thick on the sides. Good luck.
