  1. Armani and Rahal have different post-op instructions...a month with no washing if I remember correctly
  2. I doubt it. If this was the case surgeons would never get sued. Signing a contract does make it legal...
  3. I hate to say this but you need more like 6600 grafts to make a difference it seems like you are a difuse thinner
  4. based on hairlines (a major factor) I would go with Shapiro at any time.
  5. the other side: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/showthread.php?t=151185 "still have redness at 4.5 months"
  6. I agree on the hype. If people here, doctors or their staff claim that Doctor A will give an undetectable hairline, you can go to work the next day, you will an invisible scar etc., then who is to blame if results do not match? By posting a "sometimes results might not be great' does excuse them either, especially if 20 other posts sent other messages.
  7. is there an after surgery shot so we can see where the 1500 grafts were placed?
  8. ignore the cheerleaders: people WILL notice if you have more than a few hundred grafts. If a doctor says otherwise to get you in the chair, tell him to make a $10K bet. If it's obvious that you had a HT you get the cash, if not, he wins nothing since he didn't anything to lose to begin with. Frankly, for a full HT you will look odd for 3 months. Don't listen at what people say, look at their pictures.
  9. One sentence for you Spex: walking conflict of interest. Me: On no one's payroll. If the patient had not put his pictures we would have thought that this was an amazing transformation--judging by your picture. At least don't try to spin it as such... and don't shift blame when you get caught. I did not take any of these pictures, and I was merely pointing out the night and day difference. Your personal attacks are not called for. This is a forum to discuss, not to praise everything a doctor does. Many things could have gone wrong and maybe no doctor could have gotten a better result, but at least be honest. Instead of attacking me explain the picture discrepancy! BTw., I put "I think" on more than one picture as I was not 100% sure, especially if they pulled one picture out from the other forum, the order they'd appear here and so on.
  10. Hi M&M, there is guy right now on the other forum who has taken some pictures with flash and is flattering himself even though he knows his hair looks crappy. At 11 months he posted horrible looking pictures and was depressed...days later new pictures surfaced and he was happy and glad to be the center of the attention since everyone made belive they didn't see the other ones. at least you're honest with yourself
  11. Than he should pay someone to update his website.
  12. You guys should push for standards in picture taking: what type of lighting, flash /no flash, from how far and what positions. If you take the picture from far enough or in certain lights, people will be mislead and that is not fair to prospective patients. By having standards it's much easier to judge.
  13. i think you're just pulling my chain. He said the right things so that makes him a great doctor?
