    I was told I was a five. Where exactly is the crown defined, I believe it is the very top and runs down the back. My whole top is thin, but when i look into a mirror at the back of my head (not top) there is still very strong hair.

    Anyone experience crown loss shock where no grafts have been placed. I had 1800 FU on hairline and top, right up to crown area, but not on crown. 4 months later crown started shedding.

    I didn't receive my order for over 30 days. When it came it was from Pakistan, the post office opened it to inspect. The package has middle east writing on it.(can't trust those Arabs) Also they mailed it registered so it was a hassle waiting in line at the post office. There are some sites out their I will try later after this supply runs out.

    What is the difference from a 5 to 6 ? I notice a 5 either has a light dusting on top and/or crown with high sides. A 6, I notice there is NO hair on the top or crown with receeded temples. My real question if I had my top and crown done with a FU HT, will the sides down known as a halo ?

    I have very thick donor hair, very dense. A few hairs appear to have 3-4,5 in a bunch. The Doctor said it is a FU. How do you a large fu from a mini or micrograft?

    Fear of the unknown is powerful. When I went for my 90 day check up at DR. Gallagher only the bigger stronger 2-4 FU grew. The 1 and 2's were still very weak and fine. I thought that is how the overall HT would look. It did grow in.I am 6 months post op of a 1000 fu. 30 days from a second 900 Fu. He did all FU.I still had a light dusting on the top, no patch balding. Good crown. Hairline receded to exactly where most doctors place a mature hairline. With all the butchers out there it hard to trust anyone.

    Had 1800, 1000 then 800 six months ago. Was a 5 with no crown balding, still had a hirline, just thin and whispy on the top. No receeding temples. I had an allegeric reaction to some powerful medicine at 19, Hair thinned considerably till 30 when I got HT. I know the feeling of thinning hair in early twenties. I am a good looking guy but met less girls as it really thinned. It wasn't fair but it's over with. At least I took care of this early. I will have hair when most of my friends go bald in their 40's !!!

    How old are you, what class ?

    Thank you. I was scared to death that it would'nt. I had 1900 FU. About 6 months post-op. Slowest growth is the hairline.

    What is the difference between a 5a and 6. It appears a 6 is totally bald while a 5a has very thin hair but still covers scalp. In a 6 do the sides drop at all. I know the temples go back silghtly.

    I had grown a 5 weeks too. Only the bigger 4-5 fu sprouted up. Rest came in around 4 months. alomost 6 months po-op. Had second done 25 days ago.
