  1. Jobi, Thanks for the detailed update on this shampoo, it seems like it has all the ingredients to help battle hairloss and if it leaves your hair feeling better that is a bonus. Nizoral has always been dry to the scalp and hair IMO. I am interested in giving it a try - BUT we better not find out you are a major stockholder in this company LOL!
  2. Pokerbrat, this is what this forum is all about. When a lot of us were younger, we did not have access to this great info and got poor procedures done. It feels good to know that this does not happen as much now with the more educated younger crowd. Congrats on your surgery and look forward to your progress reports.
  3. Giants, This has been tried I am sure, the idea seems good but their are two things that work against the success of it. 1) BHT - Body Hair Transplants, is still in its early stages, their are some success stories and some that do not work out that well, the graft survival rate is lower and the expense is high. 2) Grafting in a scar which is poorly vascularized anyway will additionally hinder the graft rate survival. Of course you have plenty of body hair so you could keep trying till they take, who knows. One thing for sure, you would spend alot of cash trying with no guarantees.
  4. Never say never! Good luck with your surgery, I am sure it will be a success. Keep us updated!
  5. Gorpy, Nice to see that 1k can give you noticable improvemement in fullness. Looks undetectable too. Great work!
  6. Saw this on ebay, got a kick out of it - looks like the scammers are being scammed LOL! ATTENTION EBAY BUYERS SOME SELLERS HAVE INSTALLED LASERS IN CHEAP AUTO FLASHLIGHTS AND RECHARGEABLE HOUSE FLASHLIGHTS AND SELLING AS HAIR GROWTH DEVICES.THESE SHODDY MADE UNITS ARE REASON SELLERS CHANGE IDENTITY OFTEN. PLEASE BE CERTAIN AND ASK QUESTIONS AS THESE SELLERS ARE A DISERVICE TO THE PHOTO-BIOSTIMULATION INDUSTRY.

  8. dj, This thread is old, sheck the date in the upper left corner of each post. Since you are new we forgive you If you are shedding on propecia at first it is a sign that you may be a good responder to it, stay on it and those hairs will return stronger if you are truly a good responder. Hairbank - you want your old job back as the chief of the dead thread police??
  9. LOL Pat, Well, I think hairloss is just our cross to bear while on earth. When you get to heaven, maybe everyone gets there hair back???
  10. Calvo, I responded on you other post, I said you are not a great candidate based on the pics but you may be able to get a hairline with not much behind it. Best to check a few docs websites with nw7 patients. IMO, not to many of them turn out to good.
  11. Calvo, I am sorry to say you are not a great candidate for HT. Unless your donor density is way more than it appears it does not look to promising. Since your sides have dropped, it would take a lot of grafts just to rebuild you bridge across the forelock and mid scalp. The result would look thin and like a combover but that may be acceptable to some instead of slick bald. The crown would probably not be able to be addressed. Best to see a ethical doc - but not to many NW7 patients turn out to good IMO.
  12. Dopey, I feel for you as you have pretty advanced balding at an early age. At 20, I still had a decent head of hair maybe nw 2 but by age 40 was about nw5. Some of us lose it slow some fast, hard to predict where you will end up. I think you should be prepared for the worst - nw7 and do a search on patients results with that amount of hairloss. It may change your mind as to what can really be expected for severe hairloss. I would check out poster B-Spot's story who has made a successful comeback from NW6. He made quite the commitment to beat baldness and has come out real well. So it is not impossible, just realize it will take a lot of grafts, 4-7k.
  13. I would be careful, what if you clog up your pores with that stuff? What if your skin has a bad reaction?
  14. Welcome back my friend! The legend returns!
  15. B-spot, Your starting to look like Elvis my friend. From where you started it is amazing. I agree with you that several session regardless of size are usually needed. Either that or you have a thing for Janna or Matt or Dr Shapiro!! Even though it takes longer you have the option of "touching up" spots that may not have turned out like you wished. It also gives your scalp some time to return some laxity for the next procedure as you know. It sucks to wait but great things come to those who are patient. BTW how is your scar?
  16. Looks like the guy just shaved his head for the "before" photo. Nervous, when you and Folica pick up your kit, let us know how it works.
  17. Glock, I think that is a good idea to wait until this HT fully matures and your previous scalp damage from the hair systems heals fully. Also, your donor laxity may return and you can see if the meds keep producing for you. Again, you look like a new man, how did your family/friends react?
  18. Looks awesome glock! Congrats, any thoughts of adding more?? You know, hair greed?
  19. Jojo, 10-14 days in the recipient area to be safe, the scar from the donor will be covered by your existing hair if kept long enough. Do a search and you will find a lot of info on this.
  20. Be Happy, Glad to hear it is working for you, are you taking pics to document?
  21. nw5a, I think your work looks great and your plan is solid, stay with it and you will acheive your goals. Your donor does look thin as I noticed in your weblog, how many grafts might you have left for future work? Did you discuss with your doc? Keep us posted on your progress.
