Dr Path

When the situation calls for it. You will be able to have some input. -
It depends on the clinic and the patient. A few doctors have the staff to conduct gigasession surgery in excess of 8000 grafts. Most clinics will do more in the range of up to 4000 in a day.

I think you have been dragged too hard for this. It is factual that every country holds different legal standards for medicine. I can’t speak to India in particular, and Eugenix, from what I gather, generally has a high standard, but I don’t think your comment is egregiously out of line. Your point about Turkey is valid and it’s true that Turkey has become an HT hotbed precisely because of the permissive regulations there. It’s not as if you are saying that every surgeon in a developing country is worse quality, just that standards vary across the globe, as laws and customs differ.

This is an astute observation and you are correct, well done. The temple points are almost never quite symmetric because they, along with the rest of the hair on the scalp, is simply an extension of the whorl pattern of the crown. @Captain Haddock you have handled this with dignity and intelligence. It’s clear you are well educated on hair transplants. Reading your posts has been a pleasure. I hope you manage to resolve the issues and also remain positive for the aspects of the surgery that went very well. As you say, God has granted you great native hair. You are by no means without recourse. @NARMAK you too have an excellent eye for detail. You were the only one who picked up on the different calibers of hair used for the left temple point. Edit: apologies for reviving this thread. I didn't realise it was too old to comment on. Sorry. I was trying to be supportive to the OP.

This is a superb case study, complete with ups and downs, the full range of emotion, anxiety, anticipation, excitement, regret and gratitude, thankfully with a happy ending. Excellent documentation in lots of different lightings, wet and dry hair, various angles, at every stage of the process. The areas that didn’t seem to yield as well (it happens.) were masked well with styling. It just goes to show how important it is to find a style that works for you. The second surgery really finished it off. The hairline looks great and the temple points in particular are exceptionally well done. Hopefully hair loss is a thing of the past now, and remains so into the future for you.

BHT - 610 grafts with Dr Robert Dorin
Rafael Manelli replied to Al - Moderator's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
How much time have you spent recovering from hair transplants in your lifetime thus far? It must be years. This has been a mammoth journey for you. Very good documentation. -
It sounds like your procedure and planning was quite disorganised and you felt the need to direct. Unusual, but you may just have a “military” style personality. I can’t fault you for demanding clarity. It sounds like Dr Sethi wasn’t as involved as you expected. I hope the doctors who did the extractions were competent at minimising transection, which is one of the most crucial things in FUE. If you had to do it again, would you go about it differently?
-
Mostly true however there is a caveat if the doctor harvested outside of the safe zone, which is too common with FUE unfortunately as it is practiced today. There is always a risk of further thinning. For Rossy, I would say there is no point rushing into a transplant when you haven’t even identified what has gone wrong because it could happen again. Get a biopsy. Get a professional to look at it personally.

Buzzcut post op..? Advice needed
Rafael Manelli replied to Vortex's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
A few weeks. A month to be extra careful. Really the only danger is if you buzz so low you cut the skin or the vibrations traumatise the grafts, which is very unlikely. At your stage it’s completely fine.
