  1. I’ve heard some people mention slower growth when implanting in previously transplanted zones. So at worst it would be staggered by a few months.
  2. This is seriously insane (in a good way). He’s extracting fragile singles with a .45/.5mm punch without any kind of magnification. meanwhile other clinics are having transection issues utilizing punches double that diameter under magnification. 🤯
  3. Long term goal should be to leave some grafts in the bank in case future work needs to be done to address continued loss. Meds help a lot of guys but even when using finasteride/minoxidil it’s possible to continue losing ground over the years, albeit at a slower pace. nothing is guaranteed
  4. During previous surgeries, I’ve always stayed 5+ days for cleaning and checkups. I have a small procedure of roughly 200 grafts and a 4 hour flight back home and wondering if there are any cons of leaving the day after surgery (outside of the obvious- don’t bump your head)? I probably wouldn’t be able to check in with my doctor before I leave if I go down this route.
  5. Highly doubt this is alopecia areata. Typically alopecia areata shows up as bare circular patches. This looks like general thinning over the entire top area that we typically see with female pattern hair loss. Definitely consult with a physician to confirm.
  6. I doubt any regular member on this forum can answer this question confidently. accutane can make your skin very dry and in some cases that remains permanent as it can destroy sebaceous glands over time. on top of all that, accutane is somewhat notorious for causing hair loss. I agree with the previous poster and suggest you consult with several dermatologists and hair transplant surgeons to make a plan.
  7. 2.5mg of dut?! Have you lost ground on this regimen? How did you get a doctor to prescribe this dosage?
  8. Does he do a lot of graft splitting to achieve such homogenous donors? what is the range of punch sizes he uses? is there anything specific he recommends (shampoos, vitamins, etc) in the post op period that he feels contributes to his high yield and quick results? does he plan on selling his custom extraction system that he has designed?
  9. Agree with Dr Shah on this one. If the hairline was good when they marked it out and they followed that zone, then it should technically be fine. Temporary Swelling and movement of fluids will make things look off
  10. Is that entire zone below your beard line and above your Adam’s apple harvested? How many grafts were taken from there?
  11. It’s pretty clear you’re here to do damage control. However, most members here are educated enough to discern when a clinic is a mill or not. At your price points and the way you operate at your clinic, it’s easy to classify longevita as another mill among the sea of Turkish clinics. Your efforts here are useless, so please save your energy and go promote your clinic elsewhere.
  12. Are you able to grow any beard below your jaw now or was most of it extracted?
  13. 2500 grafts? Where in the world would all those grafts go? I’d say 1000-1500 max depending on where you place the hairline.
  14. Which medications does he have you on? Are all grafts from the head donor or is beard included as well?
  15. That’s not a graft, rather that’s two hairs stuck together with a sebum plug. You likely have inflammation on your scalp or don’t wash it as often as you should. If you have an inflamed scalp, you’ll shed more and have sebum/skin buildup that can stick to telogen hairs like this. You need to address any scalp issues if you have them
  16. Not sure if I missed it on your previous thread but were/are you on any medications like finasteride?
  17. Please, please, PLEASE tell me that second pic is your current hairstyle and that’s how you go out. Epic
  18. Well done- very natural looking. when working with thick curly hair like this, do you need to adjust your tools? ie larger punches?
  19. Wow so this patient has a total donor supply of 12k grafts? How is that calculated?
