  1. No, i have never had any meds. I did ask Dr Feriduni if there was anything new on the market as I didn’t like the sound of side effects with minoxidil and finasteride. He said my donor was really strong and didn’t see the need for me to start now at 52 years old.
  2. Hi Duckling, i have already had it done, 2 weeks ago, lol. I was writing the post and thought i was saving it to publish later. I didn’t realise it was going live and you can’t hide it. I should have it finished later tonight with old and current pics 😊
  3. So here i am again, 10 years later! After my first procedure in March 2013, Dr Feriduni did say to me "in around 7 years time you will need another op if you want to thicken the top of your head up". Well 3 years after that i decided i needed to go. The front still looked great, but just how i felt before my first op, i couldn't help but notice that in the daylight my scalp was increasingly becoming more visible and because i dye my hair (i am literally white) it looked much worse, imagine a darkish colour with a red scalp, lol 🙂, not a good look, not for me anyway. How The Journey Began.... After i decided i was definitely going for a 2nd op, i contacted Dr Feridini's office and was asked to send some recent photos of my hair from all angles, taken in the daylight. A couple of weeks later and i received some positive news. Dr Feriduni had looked and said i would need between 2500 - 3000 FUE to thicken up the areas that he could see needed doing via my photos. Everything was easy to understand via a PDF document, which also included the price, i was happy with everything and asked them to book me in. There was an 8 month wait so i paid my deposit and looked forward to meeting the team again. April Finally Arrives.... I AM CURRENTLY WRITING THIS AND DIDN'T REALISE YOU CANNOT DEACTIVATE A POST.............I WILL BE BACK
  4. Here are a few from mid August, September & today I personally see some posts on this site and others, and people expect the earth!! People should get a reality check, from the very beginning i had it in my mind that if it worked, awesome, if it didn't then tough, nature decided i should have a big forehead, lol :-)
  5. Check this pre photo, it was bad :-) I will put some more up though
  6. Hi Everyone Sorry its been so long, i know loads disappear from these sites, but i am still here :-) Well on the 25th October it will be 7 months and i couldn't be happier!!!!! I have 2 pics attached but will do more in the daylight in the next week or so. All i can say is money well spent and Dr Feriduni is the FUE king :-) My hair style is how i have always wanted it, before i had this done i was always fighting to hide my receding hair line, check my earlier pics and you will see how far back i was......
  7. Hey no offence taken To be honest i was very alert, at least i think i was, lol
  8. Here's how it went, seeing as it was me who was there!!!!! Doc numbed Techs punched & extracted Techs took grafts to lab Doc made incisions Techs placed grafts I don't see what is wrong with that if all is going well? The doc kept checking everything was going ok Like i have already stated, some of his techs have been there 13 years doing this, that's more than some docs have been qualified....... To be honest as long as my hair grows i don't care who punched them out!!
  9. PupDaddy That's exactly what i meant, thanks for explaining in more detail and yes i will be keeping this post updated........
  10. Hi Bill Much appreciated, i will look into setting up a page. Yes Dr Feriduni is an all round genuine guy and a great Dr, i will keep everyone up to date with my progress for sure Cheers
  11. Hey JohnnyDrama Not really, he just said there are certain people that things just go smoothly, i will let you know how smoothly when my hair has grown back, lol some people bleed quite a lot too which obviously slows down the process.. Hi Mickey85 I too cant wait to see how it turns out, so far so good though (new pics added), you are right in saying that Dr Feriduni is amazing.... The pics added have been taken today, still a bit red and a bit numb but most hairs are still in, i know this won't last long so i won't think i might be one of the 1% who's hairs don't fall out........
  12. Update!!! On day 9 now and the scabs have nearly all gone, its still a bit red on the recipient area but the donor is nearly back to normal, the donor is still a bit tingly at times but i haven't needed to take any pain killers.........
  13. Hi Socates123 Are you thinking about having yours done? Like i said Dr Feriduni and his team are excellent and know exactly what they are doing, it didn't take me long to research and make my decision and my gut instinct definitely paid off.
  14. Hi Haircrumble23 I have just been to Dr Feriduni last week and i would not worry at all about the techs doing the extractions and placement, the doc does all the incisions which is very important for the hairline design etc, he also keeps checking that all is going ok. His nurses are very experienced, some with 12 years of doing FUE. I would recommend him any day of the week, he is one of the best docs in the world.... http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/169997-3259-fue-1-day-dr-feriduni-march-25th-2013-a.html
  15. I think the main reason is that Dr Feriduni has 6 very experienced nurses on his team, some with 12 years of FUE experience. They rotate doing the extractions so they don't get fatigued and with me there was 2 nurses at a time doing them. If each nurse can do say 400 an hour each then there is no reason big sessions cannot be done. Dr Feriduni also explained to me other factors like heavy bleeding and a tough scalp, all this comes into play with how long it takes, i guess i was just one of the lucky ones that could have it done in one day :-)
