  1. Wow looks like Drs pittella and zarev are competing against who can do more grafts in a session 😂. That’s a lot of work but bravo on the dedication. The only issue with that approach is if everything isn’t executed perfectly, then there’s not much recourse. how many grafts came just from your head donor?
  2. Imo there aren’t any safe nor worthy options atm. RU and CB are all manufactured in unknown/questionable labs in China. Second, there isn’t a lot of safety data for either. I would personally stick to fin/dut as those remain the gold standard in terms of treatments.
  3. I think Dr. Nader needs to present his plan on how he will handle the influx of potential consultations that will come his way. A recommendation from this community will undoubtedly bring in more traffic to his clinic. In this day and age, I find it unacceptable that potential patients consult with a physician and try contacting the office through multiple paths (email, online forms, phone) yet hear nothing back. When I first started consulting for hair transplants I reached out to his clinic several times yet heard nothing back. Years later, I see members complaining about the same issue.
  4. Sounds like it’s time for the dog to sleep on the floor
  5. This is a question for your doctor. Essential oils may be “natural” but put straight tea tree oil or peppermint essential oils on your skin and watch how bad these natural treatments can hurt and compromise your skin.
  6. Finasteride works for all hairs affected by dht. The problem is follicles at the hairline are generally more sensitive to androgens and are some of the first hairs to go when male pattern baldness hits. There are studies for finasteride and dutasteride that show the hairline can benefit, although not as well as the crown.
  7. I’ve read it can be troublesome for cats but not sure about dogs. I’d def ask your prescribing physician or a vet
  8. Gonna respectfully disagree on that one. It’s like saying a company like Honda isn’t gonna make a good car because another division decided to design and manufacture motorcycles so their main focus isn’t automobiles any longer. The doctors are totally separate in terms of all the work and research they do. HLC has been and remains a hub for training in hair transplantation and other topics/procedures such as SMP. Even Dr. Bisanga has gone to their facility and led training and presented at their facility for FUE Europe events. Imo HLC is probably one of the most advanced clinics in all of Turkey. Don’t forget, some of the best clinics in the world that are recommended here also specialize in facial plastics.
  9. Nadimi in Chicago. Not sure of the price but she’s very skilled in eyebrow transplants
  10. The doctors performing other procedures do not touch hair transplants and Vice versa. I believe there are 4 doctors that are led by Dr. ozgur and the only thing they do is hair transplants.
  11. Sounds like BS. Maybe that statistic was accurate 15 years ago but nowadays fue has definitely gained popularity. FUT still has its place though IMO
  12. At this point being on treatment so long it’s unlikely that upping your dut dose will result in hairline regrowth but I guess you could try. The finasteride is redundant however if you’re on dut daily. 1500 grafts from konior should serve you really well
  13. Picture quality makes it difficult but it looks like you’re better than baseline when looking at your left temple from 2016 compared to now. what doses of each medication do you take? How many grafts are you slated for?
  14. What concerns me is the heavy, dark scabbing, especially on your left side. I’m not doctor, but that adherent scab with the blood could have been a small spot of necrosis. I think the yield on the left side was compromised due to the necrotic area. Imo this also coincides with the redness that still exists in that area.
  15. Massaging your forehead gently to move away the fluid buildup, drinking plenty of water, and some light walking can all potentiality help. Ideally, you should be asking your clinic this question.
  16. Pinto would be my #1 choice in Europe. Fantastic surgeon with a passion for the field.
  17. I’ll ask you this: do rows of grafts occur in nature? A good surgeon should be trying to mimic nature as best as possible.
  18. Your clinic should provide you with post op instructions. The usual time frame for surgery after fue is 10-14 days post op
  19. I think this is an excellent idea. Re-evaluation is a must. The timeframe can be adjusted but a default 1 year timeframe would be ideal in most scenarios. I think this would help in timely addressing the clinics that are slipping. There are a few cases where doctors remained recommended on this forum and as a result continued to do damage to patients (erdogan, diep, bhatti). The good thing is the forum ended up doing the right thing in the end but at the cost of potentially more botched patients than there should have been.
  20. Google reviews? You really need to start all over in your research. Use this forum as a good starting point. Find actual patient posted results and even reach out to members to get their firsthand experience with a doctor. Find results that have a similar starting point to yourself.
  21. Which city/state is the surgery in?
  22. Wow…4.5 months post op and already wearing gelled hairstyles. The growth is very good
  23. I’ve read several times that it’s roughly 1k grafts for ever cm the hairline is lowered.
  24. I don’t understand why these Spanish clinics are following in the path of Turkish mills. Why don’t they hire additional doctors to train and carry out additional surgeries? That’s the proper way to scale. It can be a little less profitable but I feel like the quality of results would remain consistent.
