  1. @Berba11 When my hairline design was done by Dr.Arika, she drew a rather conservative hairline and she mentioned that she takes into account the shape of your face, your height, age among other things before she decides on the hairline. But, since I insisted on an aggresive NW0 hairline to make my forehead less visible, she went ahead with it. Looking back 8 months after my HT, I can say that the one she drew in the beginning might have been a bit better even though I am extremely happy with what I have right now. As for the doubles and triples in the very front, I also had some placed in the very front as well as in my temples. I questioned this quiet a bit in the first few months but seeing the final result, I can now say that each multi-graft is placed strategically to give the illusion of density and not randomly. I have always wondered how Eugenix manages to cover NW6 with very less grafts and this might be why. As the others have said, you just have to wait it out for another 5 months until you have some decent length and density to your hair.
  2. I got no side effects from Minoxidil, atleast none that I can see and it's nothing like Fin. Personally, I feel that liquid is better because I gently dab the scalp with the 1ml dropper and this ensures that the minoxidil reaches the scalp and doesn't get wasted in the hair. It might be difficult to style your hair though, so you might want foam for that. If you feel you have side effects from Minoxidil, try the non-alcoholic version because the alcohol is just there for better scalp absorption.
  3. Not right now for sure. Minoxidil looks to be working for my existing hair and I am going to ride this out. I will exhaust all other options like microneedling before I even look at Fin. Even then, I might consider it at extremely low doses and at once per week.
  4. @Hairtroubles this post might be helpful in answering your queries on the effects of Finasteride. Honestly, this has made me even more scared seeing that in this case it looks like the side effects came about after a year or 2 of use and not immediately like my case and yours. @3rd time lucky the droopy chest sounds like an issue of gyno. Did this go away on its own after stopping finasteride or was any intervention required?
  5. Great story. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out with more pictures.
  6. You can try microdosing with 0.25mg oral fin and if that doesn't work, go for topical fin as you used to. If that also doesn't work, go for topical dut. I have heard topical dut at just 1x/week work for those who have had side effects on oral fin. Also add Keto 2% shampoo which is a very mild DHT blocker. Minoxidil with microneedling also does wonders. You will have to ask Eugenix when you can start microneedling after a HT and if it will have any effects on future HTs if any.
  7. I started seeing incredible growth from the mid of the 4th month. Exciting days ahead !!
  8. Exactly my thoughts after my HT at Eugenix. My only regret is I should have gotten this done sooner. Wasted so much time looking at the mirror 🤣.
  9. There were some studies on dermarolling alone and surprisingly, it's effects seem to be on par with Min. Ofcourse, the results are far superior if you add Min to the equation.
  10. Unfortunately, I don't have any pre or post pics but I am fairly sure Minoxidil side effects, if any, last only as long as you use it and you can rebound back to normal quickly if you stop using it. Yes, I use Keto 2% which is Nizoral and is a very mild DHT blocker. Get your blood work done and make sure your hormone levels are intact if you ever decide to jump on Fin.
  11. If you don't use any hairloss medication, it will affect your pre-existing hair. I too had low libido from Fin and I didn't take it after my HT at Eugenix. It didn't affect my hair transplant as far as I can tell but I am worried about my non-transpanted hair. I am using minoxidil for now and I will add fin once Minoxidil effects start to wane.
  12. I think you are on schedule for shedding. Months 2,3 and the first few weeks of 4 will be the time you will start questioning the hair transplant. What kind of sides did you get on Fin and what's your dosage? Are you planning to hop on minoxidil?
  13. What's worrying is the sides seem to last longer every time you try it. I did not workout at that time and my test levels were also low ~300ng/dl. After cleaning up my diet and working out, my levels are much higher now ~ 650. I might be wrong but this might be the reason why the ones who are on gear are not affected by this. With all this said, Fin will still be my last shot and I will give topical fin a try this time around. No sides on Min. I am also using Keto shampoo. I did have dark circles before Min due to lack of sleep, so I am not sure if Min had any effect. I am not apply anything on my face for beard. So, I may not have experienced any aging because of this. If you are balding, I highly recommend Fin or Min at the very least because I made this mistake when I was NW1 and I did not follow any protocol for 5 years. This made me go to a NW3 and eventually a hair transplant.
  14. Work looks clean. Exciting days ahead @Domino
  15. I had my HT at Eugenix almost 8 months back and I am not on Fin. I did try Fin 2 times with a gap of 2 years between each attempt and I got sexual sides each time. These sides lasted for about a week the first time and then for a month the second time. I was so scared the second time around since I didn't expect it to last that long. I am applying Minoxidil though twice a day and it seems to be holding my native hair pretty good. I am going to ride out Minoxidil till it's effects start to wane and maybe add dermarolling after that. If all this fails, I might give Fin one last shot or else get another HT.
  16. @Gatsby How do you cut the pill into two 0.5mg pills? The original pill is so damn small. Is there some sort of pill cutter that you use ?
  17. @nodonoI too paid for the premium package but felt that it was more like the exclusive package since Dr was present for only extraction part and not for the crucial implantation.I am super satisfied with my results though, 7 months in. Is it too late to ask for a refund like you did?
  18. Big is an understatement. It's night and day. The frontal hairline has been completely restored. The crown too is looking really good.
  19. @Wandererindfantastic results. Someone please collage his before and after photo. Absolutely amazing.
  20. I had a similar experience when she was on a business call during the procedure and this had me real worried but I decided to trust in the process. I realized that they are so used to doing this so many times that they can multi task without losing efficiency.. In the end, I went from NW3 to NW0 in 6 months.
