Eugenix Upcoming Procedure!
Mggm replied to Kariminho's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
@Kariminhoan update please -
@nodonoan update would be nice.
-
I think if OP had waited for 4 more months and then went in with the final result, they might have fixed both the front and the mid scalp at the same time and all this back and forth could have been avoided. I believe this happened with @Looking for HTas well and they were able to fix it for him in the patch up when he showed up after a year. Since OP himself had asked for just the mid scalp to be fixed the second time around, the clinic addressed just that.
-
I went for 210 for exactly this reason. It was my first HT and my first ever experience in any sort of surgical procedure and i didn't want to risk it. But, now with the benefit of hindsight, I wish I had gone for the 120 instead.
-
I do remember signing a form for my surgery but it was more along the lines of "I am aware that a hair transplant surgery is not a guaranteed success and I am willing to go ahead with the surgery knowing that I may not get the desired result". I do not remember seeing anything asking me not to post the results of the surgery on forums or videos.

Is this done for 120 or 210?
-
It looks like they are offering OP the older 120RS package since he contacted them in 2020 but couldn't go due to COVID.
-
I highly recommend you go for the 120RS package. The reason is there is absolutely no difference between this and the 210RS packages since it involves Dr.Arika implanting only about a 100 grafts. Even though I got the result I wanted when I had my HT in April 2021, I wish I had done the same and saved some money. 120RS with Dr.Arika doing the slits and Dr.Das taking over the rest of the procedure is a steal.

Eugenix Blood Work Required

@Ryan Daniel it looks like you can get all these done at the hotel itself. -
Eugenix Blood Work Required

If this is the case, it would be better to get the bloodwork done locally 7 days prior to the surgery. But, it does sound very unlikely. I guess bloodwork is standard proceedure before any surgery since I have seen others ask for the same. -
Eugenix Blood Work Required
Mggm replied to Midwestkid0324's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
@Ryan DanielI do remember an earlier thread where it was mentioned that you can get your bloodwork done after you have landed. I am not sure if they have discontinued this for some reason. It would be best to ask them directly. -

HLC/Bicer/ASMED (Turkey) vs. Eugenix/Darling Buds (India)
Mggm replied to aurasphere's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
It is not humanely possible for just 2 doctors to do 3-4 surgeries every single day and dish out the same consistent results time after time. I am glad they increased the price instead of going the easier route of hiring more technicians while keeping costs same. This will take a hit on the number of surgeries they do but they get to be more consistent with their results which I feel is more important than the cost itself. -
Stick to the premium since it will involve Dr. Arika doing the design and slits. The slits are the most important part of the procedure next to extraction since it decides the density and how your hair will grow out. Even though the other doctors maybe just as good, I would always go for the best service possible if it's within my budget so that I would have no regrets later. If you still want the Exclusive option, try to get Dr.Shishir since he is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable doctors at Eugenix.

@RbsI second this. By the time you hit month 8, there is so much growth that you will stop caring about the hairline altogether and any growth after this is just icing on the cake.

3 month Review: Eugenix Hair Sciences (India). 3500 grafts. NW6.
Mggm replied to kirkland's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
@kirkland looks amazing for just 15 weeks. Can we get a comparison from the top though? -
It's painless for 95% of the procedure. The only painful part is the local anaesthesia/PRP injections at the very beginning. They hurt a lot especially at points of your scalp where there is low fat like your temples. After this, you won't feel a thing for the rest of the procedure.
-
It may not be worth it, but trust me, if you end up looking at the mirror everyday hating the receded hairline like I did, it's well worth it. I consider HT to be helpful not just for the looks but more so mentally. I can now finally focus on other more important things in my life than worry about hair all the time. You should look at who in your family has MPB like yourself and use this to design your HT. For me, I had my frontal hairline covered with HT and if I lose any more hair, it will be at the crown. I might need another 2k grafts for this and fortunately, I got a good scalp and beard donor. To summarise, if you are not taking Fin or even Min, you may need more than one HT and if you are okay with that it should be good.
-
@MazAB you may have to wait this one out a bit longer for the real density to kick in. I too had the impression that the thinning frontal look under direct sunlight was the absolute best a hair transplant can achieve in terms of density and I accepted this to be my final look at the end of 5 months. I am now 9 months into my hair transplant and I do not know exactly when this happened but my frontal hairline thickened up even further when I checked a few weeks back and I can no longer see through the hairline even with a camera flash.

Sharing my hair transplant journey with Eugenix-india
Mggm replied to Korbin McCown's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Hey @Korbin McCown, Would love to see an update! -
I think these two points can't be emphasized enough for HT at Eugenix and HT in general. If this is your very first HT, please take some time to draw a rough hairline and play around with the design until you get what you like. Although I was given enough time and a couple of options during the design phase of my HT, it would have been better if I was prepared with a rough design beforehand. This is especially true when you have a frontal/temporal HT and changing this later will be very tricky.
