So I have decided to get my blood work done, then go on Topical Finasteride.
I want to start with a very small dose. I only want to mix a half or quarter of the reccomended dosage, and apply it once a week to start.
I don't want to apply a topical minox mix.
Is there a side effect free alternative?
Stemoxydene seems like the next best option.
Hmmm, TRT while losing hair...ballsy move.
When did your father/grandfather start losing hair?
I will be interested to know how much the topical dut prevents hair loss while on TRT, in the coming years.
Fantastic results OP. Really heartening to see.
A question, how can it be that someone has bad sides on fin but not on dut? Isn't dut simply just a more powerful version of fin?
Curious about When you say 'already had gyno'.
Is this a potential side effect of fin?
Or are you suggesting here that gyno was due to already high estrogen, and you are worried fin would make it worse?
Reason I'm asking is because I had bad gyno during puberty, and had to get reduction surgery at 23
I never got side effects from minox..
Except my skin looked a bit grey when I was doing 10 applications a week. I switched to 3-4 a week and all good.
You don't need to put minox on twice a day.
Once a day is enough..even try once every other day.
I would not consider doing any steroids, and would only consider TRT after 40.
Natural bodybuilding shouldn't be a problem, especially considering I'm not naturally a very muscular or very high testosterone guy.
Thank you.
I went to the gym today for the first time in 9 months, and did notice it looked a bit thinner than a year ago.
It's probably just me noticeing though.
I am a bit afraid of finasteride, but I will consider all options in the coming 12 months.
Perhaps SMP for the back.
Thank you guys, yes I realize for a (nearly) 32 year old head of hair it is pretty good.
I think something topical would be the way to go as well. I will look into topical anti androgens.
If I really start paying attention to this area now, hopefully I can look 'gorgeous' for a decade plus to come
@PizzaWolf
The hairline doesn't bother me as I have always had a high hairline. It hasn't really gone back that much in 10 years.
It's more the lack of density on the right side and back.
Thanks for outlining a good list of treatments. Good to know the full arsenal.
Second part it a bit uncalled for but I don't really mind.
I don't wish to take Finasteride. Was looking for other recommendations.
Probably should've mentioned it in the OP.
Hi guys,
Here are some pics of me today.
I seem to be NW 2.5 vertex.
I don't really shed or lose hair at all, but my hair is very thin, just like my mother's.
I turn 32 in a month.
How am I looking, and what would you recommend?
I am 32 in a month and pretty grateful for where I am at.
I have decided I am comfortable wearing a hair system if need be in the distant future.
Before then, if I need to, I can see how hair fibers/concealers look
At this stage finastride is not something I would consider.
Do you know the youtuber Nick Shell (one of the biggest youtube hairloss channels).
He was in the exact same position at 30 and early 30s as me.
Going on 40 now his hair hasn't changed.
Next 3 years between 32 and 35 will be interesting.
Thanks for your input anyway.
