  1. Got 4ml Elanse filler today. Relatively small amount with the aim of subtle results. I had it placed in my undereye bone, jawline and chin. I'm 34 next month and the aim was just to look as robust and goodlooking as I did at 18-20 Before (selfie and long view) After: Will probably get implants eventually but this is a cheapish (3k AUD) and recovery-free option. I'm happy with the subtle results. Cheers
  2. You want to buy the whole of Turkey? I'm not sure, check to see how their economy is doing and put in a bid. Only joking, just saw the title and thought it was funny 😝
  3. Thanks dude, I had the dermal fillers version of this (cheek, jaw, chin) last year and am doing it again tomorrow. Think I'll go the implant route eventually as my body burns the fillers away fast. I have a slim face too and would love similar results to yours.
  4. Did you get your DHT levels (serum and scalp) tested before you went on the XYON? The blood tests won't be that helpful otherwise. Good luck though, I've recently switched to a different brand of topical fin, and it's favourable to oral, side effects wise.
  5. Good result. I have a similar slim face to your before, and would be interested in this. I'm curious to know how you feel about it now- are you happy you had it done? @OtherSyde
  6. I'm 34 in January. I refused to take it for years, but bit the bullet recently as I was sick of acne on my back. I'm actually not planning any HT or surgery at this stage, was just raising the issue of donor area if I need an HT in a few years. Accutane is working well for the acne btw. I'm lucky to have no other sides- will up my dosage in a week.
  7. Nope, but I actually think it's come from this acne medication Accutane I'm taking. Temporarily thinner hair can be a side effect, and I don't remember it being like this 2 months ago before I was on it. I'll see the course out and then see what happens with the donor area.
  8. Thanks, yeah I think my hair texture is just thin which contributes to the weak look. I just remembered that I'm also on the acne medication accutane now, which causes hair to thin a bit for the duration you're on it. That may be the cause of it.
  9. Hey guys, was on low dose fin for a year but got sides...on topical now. Am I in a bit of trouble when it comes to getting a transplant in future? Donor area looks very weak. I guess I'll have to rub topical fin in my donor area regularly. Would a donor area like this be rejected by an HT surgeon?
  10. Well he's talking about heart and lung pain which I had Maybe KB allows for less systematic absorption
  11. Woah. Are you serious? This is big. The PG solution caused this? I wonder why that is. Could you share the research? Thanks for letting me know.
  12. Yes, It's all over the place. Which is the same reason why the combover seems to work a little bit for him. I hope he has another transplant and can do enough with his hair to at least have some coverage. I think he's in trouble though and will have to shave it off by his early 40s
  13. Hi HairRun, how did the Topical Fin work out for you? Any sides beyond the ball ache?
  14. Hey Melvin, I've recently watched some of your Youtube videos. If I may ask- which brand of Topical Fin do you use? I recently bought from Minoxidilmax but last time I had sides from them (different compound). Wanted another brand just in case the same happens now. Thanks
  15. Hey guys, Just thought I'd share my experience on RU58841. So the first time I used it was about 14 months ago- Started maybe September 2021 and used it sparingly: 15-20mg every couple of days. I did notice some mild heartburn/heaviness in the chest after every application, but didn't think much of it. After about 2 months of infrequent use- November 2021, I started getting sick, which is weird because it's nearly Summer here in Australia then. I got mild to moderate chest and lung pain- not severe, but certainly noticeable and alarming. I was covid negative. I did some reading on RU58841 and saw others had experienced this, so I threw the RU out and just took Fin/Min Fast forward to a couple of months ago (September 2022), I was worried about continued thinning in my crown, so I hastily ordered RU again. I thought maybe the past side effects were a nocebo. Well, it took me till 2 days ago (Nov 13th) to try it, as I was still a bit apprehensive. I only applied about 15mg, once. Today I have gotten the same mild/moderate chest pain- more so in my lungs. It hurts when I breathe in. It was actually quite worrying and alarming- I even contemplated not going to the gym. Apart from these two incidents after taking RU, I've never had this in my life. I threw away the bottle of RU for a second time, and I'll never use it again. Even though fin gives me mild libido issues, it's certainly the better alternative to me. I'd rather try my luck with Topical Fin/Dut, CB-03-01, or conceal my thinning crown with SMP or fibres before getting a small transplant in a few years. Just thought I'd share my experience, as I think it's important people do. Thanks
  16. RU is pretty good You never know If fin helped or not. Couldve lost more without it Try topical Dut Other options: Cb-03-01 and Flurodil
  17. Tennis great Rafael Nadal has been balding for a decade, and in the last couple of years it's gotten pretty bad. I'm not sure where he is on the Norwood scale, but his lack of density at the top is painfully obvious. I believe he had a transplant a few years ago, but it either failed or he's proceeded to thin badly. Also, I think athletes aren't allowed to take medication like Finasteride (probably why Lebron's hair looks so bad even after so many transplants). He'll probably retire in the next year or two, so the question is- Can his hair return to a decent level with another HT plus medication? If so, how many grafts would it take? Somewhere in the 8000-1000 range? His doner area looks good. Would love to hear your thoughts.
  18. I think for the most part, drugs like Fin, Dut, Ru, Minoxidil, plus microneedling are fantastic and absolutely prevent transplants for a decade or two even. Sure there are a few people who are destined to be NW 6 by 35, or who don't respond well to the drugs, or simply don't want to take them, but I think for the most part, they are that effective. From being on this forum for 2 years now, I believe the biggest factor in someone keeping their hair is if they catch it and start dealing with it in its early stages.
