  1. Yeah it's tough to know how much it's doing I have used it for a year now. The times where I got slack, I did feel a bit thinner at the back.
  2. What on earth are you talking about? Judging by how my hair has stayed reasonably constant in the last 2 years, plus family history, it is very likely I will have a good head of hair at 40.
  3. Thanks for your reply I certainly respect the decisions of others. Everyone has their priorities and what they are willing to risk Please see my other thread. I think I should actually be ok till 40, even early/mid 40s.
  4. I am nearly 32 years old. I am norwood 2 or 2.5 at the front, with some slight thinning at the back. I first noticed a thin spot when I turned 30. I freaked out and thought 'here we go, things are going to get bad over the next few years' But 2 years later, my hairline hasn't moved back (not past NW2 at least), and the thinning at the back is not that bad at all. Maybe a tiny bit worse, but not even noticeable unless close up or under light. My dad had a good head of hair at 40, but I think in his mid 40s started balding badly. I think his dad was the same. My other grandfather died in his early 50s with a full head of hair. After almost 2 years of freaking out a bit, I've come to accept that I likely will have a good head of hair till 40, even till early-mid 40s. I will still do minox for the thinning at the back (3-4 applications a week), plus some shampoo/conditioner, but things are looking a lot better than first thought. I just wanted to say this out loud. Thanks.
  5. By that I mean I don't want to be worrying every week/month if I'm thinning. I just want to be do whatever I need to 'conceal' any thinning spots. Everyone is different though. I just cbf fighting a losing battle by taking a dangerous drug that affects your hormones
  6. Come on man, look at the myriad of complaints men have had on fin when it comes to libido and sexual dysfunction. I just read a thread on this forum, where almost every guy commenting had some sexual/libido disfunction. I respect people's decision to do what's best for them, however.
  7. I am nearly 32 years old norwood 2.5 vertex I used to be an amatuer model at 18-19 but got very fat in 20s. I am slowly getting back to peak leanness and looking very handsome- most people say I look 18-22 now (good skin/collagen). I am considering going on fin to maintain hairline for the next decade, but am afraid of the consequences on face. I heard permanant facial bloating can occur. Also a greyish pigmentation Has anyone had these issues?
  8. Nearly 32 year old male here, I'm NW 2.5 vertex My skin and collagen is very good though, I look 18-22 in the face I am planning to go on TRT in 6 months, as I want to get a very lean, muscular and athletic physique. T levels were a bit low as well at my age. There is balding on my father's side. Both my father and grandfather balded heavily after 40. Call me crazy, but I don't even want to think about hair. My leanness, muscle tone, youthful skin and zest for life is what makes me happy. I don't want to potentially ruin that with finastride. I'm just going to max out everything else, and conceal my hair issues (if they come up) with micropigmentarion, concealer, hair fibers and/or a hair system. Just thought I'd share this
  9. I'm (nearly) 32 years old with norwood 2.5 vertex, and seriously considering this. When you say 'cut the pill and take half every 3 days', which dosage are you talking about?
  10. Congratulations on the great head of hair at your age! Good luck with fin.
