  1. Funny- I see no touch up necessary. Looks fantastic and as dense as native hair
  2. On another note, to Fluffhead- I think your HT looks amazing! You mentioned in another post that you have been losing hair since your 20s and that you suspect you had been holding steady at a NW3 due to finasteride. Given your mentioned family history of NW6 and 7, I personally would save the grafts. While finasteride could (fingers crossed) hold you steady for the rest of your life, I would be thinking worst case such as what if you stop becoming a responder, or what if they determine that long term use of the drug has detrimental effects (hopefully not). We all hope that there is a cure to all of this in due time in which we have hair cloning available or they figure out how to safely revive all the dormant hair follicles, but I am one to plan for the worst. Be well and enjoy your amazing new look!
  3. Looking good, Zoomster- Yes, I would suspect this is the result of anagen desynchronization based upon what I learned from this video (below). Have you checked with Dr. Sethi regarding this? Your HT still looks AMAZING and the actual aesthetic difference is so minor. As HT patients, we are all focused on being hyper-focused on looking closely at the scalp and hair, however, most people are not and upon looking at you would not notice a thing. As humans, we tend to rather not have something at all rather than gain something only to lose it, so I can imagine how it feels to have had a slightly denser result at 1st only for it to get ever so slightly less dense. You mentioned that your buddy said regarding mid-scalp density that in real world situations no one would even notice. I agree. Thanks for keeping us posted on your journey. As others said, you can always go for another 2k grafts.
  4. Very nice, Dalveer! Were you able to get the crown covered?
  5. This is night and day from where you began! Looking good! Things will thicken up and it will be golden.
  6. Hi Poma- If you haven't done so, check out Budhair HT located in this forum. He had a HT with Eugenix and a 2nd one ~1 year afterwards. He was told he had a very weak/sparse donor area and may have been turned away by other places. In his 1st HT with Eugenix, he had ~6,000 grafts, with over half being beard hairs. He was a NW 6- pretty much slick bald and I thought the results looked very good covering most of the head with the exception of the crown. He went back to Eugenix and had a 2nd HT a year later (I think ~2,400 grafts) which covered most everything- he has since had some issues with losing hair from the 2nd HT, but the doctor feels that hair will come back. I am not a doctor so I can't assess donor areas, but for one thing, you have a lot more hair on top. What I learned form his story is the possibility of what can be achieved!
  7. This is absolutely incredible! Actually unbelievable and gives me hope. As a ~NW5.5, it has made me rethink whether the traditional advice of FUT is the right way to go. Enjoy your transformation!
  8. While you might not have achieved the exact density you hoped for, overall, the change from your before and after photos to me look dramatically different. Dr. Soni recently recommended 4,000 grafts (FUT+FUE) for me. When I inquired how many hairs that equated to, I was told between 7,500-8,000, therefore your transplant being 4,500 grafts probably equated to ~8,500-9,000 hairs. I am new to the hair restoration world, but given your level of hair loss, I would think a few more hairs (correct me if I am wrong) would be needed for full coverage with density which I am guessing could be accomplished in another procedure. I know that the illusion of density also depends a lot on hair type (fine, coarse, curly, etc.) so perhaps that may be a contributing factor. Overall, it looks solid to me, but maybe my expectations are not high enough
