  1. It's better if you can upload photos, from your description it sounds it may too early for you to have a procedure now.
  2. Beard grafts as said above are suitable for middle scalp and crown, BUT they need to be mixed with scalp grafts so it will give natural effect.
  3. Hehehe he looks like Mike Terrana, the drummer of Yngwie Malmsteen and Tony Macalpine. This guy had no HT.
  4. Very aggressive hairloss for age 29, seems you're NW6 and maybe NW7 in the future, meaning that maybe the transplanted hair may fall after few years. The lateral humps look ok for now, this can help the HT result. Can you upload photos of sides head donor?
  5. Crown high density effect is always more challenging than the frontal area, hence it's better to have triples and quads, than single grafts. You can achive density with thin single grafts but you'll need a lot according to the width and length measurements of the crown with realistic expectations, depending also on your type of hair.
  6. Hello @Lior, seems you're new on your research, I HIGHLY recommend you'll do a detailed research about professional protocols such as FUE, the real matter here is who is your surgeon and not the method, additionally I reccomend you to understand the main differences between technicians hair mills that costs cheaper that do multiple procedures in a day vs segment of certified MDs surgeons that perform themselves the surgical procedures and do only 1-3 patients in a day. You need to understand and learn the true meaning of professional Micrograph FUE protocol vs clinics that do whatever they want. * This comment refers to the industry in general matter without criticism towards clinics that were mentioned in this thread. If you intrested, you're welcome to contact my WhatsApp +972526542654, you're also welcome to follow my 3 hair transplants journal in this forum:
  7. Thank you all, Candidates with strong native hairs at lateral humps (like myself for example) can support a lot the result of transplanted hair, hence it was also necessary to focus this area on this case.
  8. At HDC clinic we specialize repairing FUT scars with FUE. You're welcome to contact me, probably you won't add SMP after a repair. @Parasol had FUT repair with us and documented the process on this forum:
  9. Hello, I myself had 2 successful repair procedures by Dr. Maras at HDC clinic in Cyprus (1st time I was botched by Arenamed clinic in Turkey) You're welcome to contact me for a repair quote, we charge less than 3$. You can read on my repair blogs on this forum.
  10. I tend to agree that crown results take longer to grow, though it's harder to create density covering effect, it can grow slower than the frontal area. My frontal area noticeably started to grow after 13 weeks, final result post 9 months, while my crown started after 22 weeks, final result post 12 months.
  11. Better if you can show photos including your donor. Probably you had a small session so the native has gone and not support to result like back in the day.
  12. How old are you? Back head donor looks good for now. Sides donor with possibility of Alopecia, better check with a dermatologist under microscopic diagnosis.
  13. Frontal area can start around 3-4 months, crown 5-6 months. When I had my frontal repair by Dr. Maras, it took around 100 days to see the first baby hairs.
  14. This is me after 4 months post frontal repair procedure by Dr. Maras at HDC clinic, around 2500+ grafts
  15. You have a good healthy donor, our clinic located in Cyprus near to Greece, we can do both your frontal area and crown in 1 procedure, our price range around 2.2 - 2.4 Euros per graft, price includes our free accommodations and driver. You're welcome to contact me for consultation with HDC clinic, this is a similar case to your condition that Dr. Maras covered in 1 session:
  16. About the height we need measurement of your current hairline using a tape down to the eyebrows. Be aware that the peaks job are very hard task to executed correctly, must consist only single grafts and correct hair angles, not everyone are good candidates for peaks "close as possible for natural result".
  17. @mac187,you got an excellent donor, rich and thick! I think this revision job will take around 2000-2500 grafts, depends how low the new hairline will start from till how deep the procedure will be behind the hairline. For more detailed review, you're welcome to contact me, our clinic located in Cyprus near to Greece, Dr. Maras specializes in repair cases, you can also read my journal about my 2 repairs. This is example of repair case of a candidate with thick donor, 1829 were used:
  18. Please share photos also of your donor. I had a hairline repair with Dr. Maras at HDC clinic after I was botched badly by Arenamed clinic in Turkey, was demanding repair but now I'm very happy.
  19. Great donor, need to check how deep you can have a procedure over the frontal area, need many single grafts to make your result homogenous with your existing hair.
  20. When you loose around 3cm, then the surgeon can create zigzags for natural hairline, either you want "aggressive" or conservative result. You can check many results here on our Instagram: https://instagram.com/doronhairadvisor_hdc?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
  21. Will be helpful if you can share photos, also of the donor. I do reccomend you'll check with dermatologist if you have miniaturization hair, including the donor. There's also a chance you had natural hair that supported the result.
  22. Just pay attention if you have side effects from both meds. I had side effects from Propecia pills, so now I'm using topical mix formula of Finasteride and Minoxidil without side effects.
  23. Seems like NW4-5, you can save some hairs with Finasteride and Minoxidil. I think you're a good candidate with thick hair, you're welcome to contact me for consultation with HDC clinic. You can check many reviews on us on this forum. I think this case is a good reference for you:
