  1. from an aesthetic and metal point of view, that are two completely different field. In one case (HT), you restore what you had. In the other case (PS for nose, lips etc) you try to change your shape.* It is such an obvious difference that I do not think it worts spending time with a guy who doesn't admit that. * I'm not blaming who has Plastic surgery to fix a problem. I just notice the strange attitude this guy has. He is like a disperate bulimic for surgery (more more more). He buys "beauties" like a person buys cake at supermarket. "wow, I like this lips...look at the pic. I want it I want it". There is something wrong about him.
  2. If he cuts the native hair...doesn't that mean that native hair dies?
  3. As i said, you are missing the whole picture. as i said, beautiness is a metter of balance. Something is a matter of taste (bigrr or smaller nose, lips etc). Anyway, there are some proportion and the parts fit each other. One of the most famous model in the world has a big nose, average lips and inclined forehead, but he is beautiful. you take some before and after lips pics and you you say tht bigger lips are better. Maybe that lips are better but that doesn’t mean that the whole body is nicer. By the other way, you posted angelina’s pic and that is one of the strangest arguments ever. It is really weird you compare hair restoration and what you are planning. Hair restoration is gaining back what you had. Plastic surgery is a total different field. yes, your nose is an alien body on your face. You have an inclined foreah and your chin is peaky. Your franch nose doesn’t match your entire profile. sad truth but it is the truth.
  4. I have the same issue. This is why ido not want the doc makes implants among pre-existing hairs. anyway, on my thread, @LaserCap had several arguments tosay that is a mistake.
  5. I've a solid psychologic background (I'm not a psychologist anyway) but I'm not assuming anything. I just sharing my feelings. Maybe I'm right, maybe not. In any case, I hope I can stimulate the reader to think about the underlying implication of plastic surgery.
  6. I know it is not my business so I should not say what I'm going to say...so I apologize to be a such intrusive person. my feeling (and other people feeling as well) is he will never be happy with his appearance. My thought is that he is not trying to improve something or correct something. He just allowing his obsessions. Today the nose, tomorrow the lips, the day after tomorrow his eyebrows etc in my opinion, the big problem is that he his not looking at the whole pic.
  7. IMHO opinion, he looked better before 5000graft HT and rhinoplasty. He had a more masculine and interesting face.
  8. Der, A nice looking face is a matter of balance between your hairline, nose, chin, eyebrows, forehead etc. I think you are missing the whole picture. you take a pic a say "I like these lips...bigger lips are nicer!". This is a complete non sense. Take a Leonardo waiting or drawing: his faces have small lips but look spectacular. Did you ask yourself: "how do bigger lips fit into my face?" You reduced your nose but your nose doesn't match to your chin. It is like an alien body that someone built on your face.
  9. Hairline design is about 50% of a good HT. Designing hairline is both an artistic and a scientific work. I read about 200 articles in the last months and watched a lot of video. would like to share with you the best video and the best article I found. article written by Shapiro http://shapiromedical.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/9-HAIRLINE-DESIGN.pdf
  10. Long story short: I like my hair. I decided to have an HT last summer because I felt stressed while I driving a cool convertible car with a nice chick close to me! joke apart, I hate windy day or sweeting, because my hairline looks like Shit. but after shower and blowdrying I like what I see in the mirror... This is why I'm scared. I'm afraid that I try to improve my condition and get worse!
  11. these are my asymmetrical temples! I want to reduce the deep creeks (let say 2-3 cm) but I don't want that the doc works among my natural hairs (shock loss really scares me!)
  12. all the doc said 2500, except Pekiner that suggest something between 2500/3000. Anyway, at the moment, I will push for 2000, because I like a Norwood 2, Harvey specter hairline. Do you consider that a big number? I can't change idea because I'll lose my money lol
  13. I agree with you. Looking at pics, it doesn't seem a 3200 transplant. He should take some time counting the "dots". I can say they are no more than 2000. When low cost clinics say "5000 grafts" in 8 hours, I really doubt it can be real. 1 hour is 3600. 15 sec per graft (extraction and implantation), you can't get more than 250 graft per hour. that is about 2000 per day.
  14. @dust78 long story short, the first HT should be done with FUT technique. I'm going to have my first HT in January and opted for FUE. I know I did a mistake but didn't felt comfortable to travel from Italy to vancour for a FUT.
  15. From what I see on this board, ASMED is working really bad in last years. They told he needed 2000/2500 graft and the patient accepted. Now, if Koray thought he needed for 4000, he had 2 options: a) refuse to transplant less than 4000 OR b) give the more graft for free. The "discount" approach in very unethical. That is a medical operation, not a supermarket.
  16. From my researches about PRP, I think it should be done every 2 weeks. A lower frequency is meaningless
  17. I can see direction is not a problem if the doc uses glasses. About angles it can be a real problem... I quote doc Shapiro "Angle refers to the degree of elevation a hair as it exits the scalp. Direction refers to which way the hair points when leaving the scalp. It is important to pay attention to the changes in both direction and angle of hair positioned around the hairline." If the hair is shaved, how can the cos see the degree of elevation? May 2 mm long hair can be a good way to fix this problem
  18. My question is: if you shave your head, how con the doctor see the angles and the directions of pre-existing hair follicles?
  19. anyway, I'm Italian. So, show some respect for olive oil! lol lol lol
  20. Some people mix coconut oil and castor oil. From what I know, it works!
  21. I use it once per week, after DR. I mix it with olive oil (50% and 50%) for better absorption.
