OMG, my statement is so easy! This is not how I see a doctor but how people look at doctors! If someone is trendy, everything he does ...is considered great. If not, nobody takes care oh him. The average consumer is an idiot.

If you consider a surgeon like a rock style, sure they are. They are something on style, just like any other consumeristic product. As I can see, a lot of you miss any objectivity. You can see on this board cases of couto lacking density. I won't link the threads just because I do not want to offed the patients. 1000 patients/4 doctors/250 cases per year. That means a patient per day, So, do your math.

I think I'm the only one having experiences with both of them. They are not even close. Ferreira is an outlier and has an amazing knowledge: aestethic and biochemistry. Peknnner is a very good doctor. Is Ferreira worth 1 euro more than Pek? I will tell you my personal experience. Pekiner aborted my HT saying that my grafts were sick. I lost 200 grafts for nothing (they were literally thrown into the toilet!) Ferreira analized my grafts for free and said that they were fine and gave me the courage to take an HT (not with him). The end result was great. That means Fereria was right and PEK was wrong. So, what do you think? Does Ferreira worth more for me?

Surgeons are like clothes. When the fashion says that something is cool, people say is cool. I saw great cases from unknown docs and many of you commented "not bad" at the best. I saw poor cases from great docs and many of you saying "yeah, but ..." For example, bisanga is very skilled but I never get exited by his works. Couto is the best to frame faces but can't reach the level of density many people desire. It is a matter of taste. HLC is 8 on everything (I will open a new thread on this): very goos hairline design, very good density, very good extractions. I could find unsatistfied patients and bad cases from every top surgeon in the world. HLC had something like 10.000 patients during the last 10 years and you can barely find 10 wrong cases that means 0,1%.

My only concern about HLC is they use sometimes too many grafts (especially for small areas). That said, I think your results were very good. I show your pics to a friend of mine, full of hair, aesthetic doc. He said that your HLC was perfect to him. You decided to completely change the shape of your hairline with couto, working on temporal peaks and brining you to a NW 0. Good for you, but that doesn't mean HLC didn't give you a good HT. You call your 2th op a repair. That is not a repair. In any meaning you want to consider the word "repair", it is not.

great hairline design, I think the density is very appropriate...I just think HLC overuses grafts. I saw Couto's works, De Freitas's works etc in great details. They use 50-60% of the grafts HLC used to cover that area. At the end of the story, you pay more at HLC... PS is ALIF still there? I saw looking for ever but could not find on HLC page

4 manual and 3 motorized extractions. I do not any of her patients but, from what I see, she is some of the sweetest person in the business.

I rarely saw a "wow" HT from Bicer but I think it depends from the fact that she doesn't pay great attention to marketing. All the pics I saw are "home made", with poor lightings and poor background. BTW, she is solid as a rock. Never read of someone regretting the HT with her. And she is one of the most ethical people in the business for sure. Wonder why she increased her prices by 100% in one year. More and more people are asking for her? monetary inflation? At the moment, she is more expensive than De freitas, pinto, vila... In your honest opinion, is she worth 4 euro grafts?

Two totally different topic. If you are looking for rhino, you can search a doctor in any part of the world. If you are looking for rhino-filler, the doctor should be close to your house, because you need it frequently.

You got the point! You can put all the hair of the world on the scalp, but if you don't work on temporal angles and (if necessary) on temporal peaks, the hair will never frame your face and you barely will be "nicer".

Are you sure Pekiner is good for a such difficult case? From my prospective, he is a great doctor but he loves working to improve good head. He rejected some of us after extractions because (after extracting) he thought that we were not good candidates.

Hope I do not offend @ticker but considering that he is 95% satisfied, I think he will not feel offended. For me is a good work. Maybe a very good work. I read people writing it a masterpiece. Wonder if people have prejudices. If it wasn't de freitas' work but an HT from a less famous/prestigious surgeon, maybe many people were looking flaws every cm2.
