  1. i mean i'm still sorta in the boat that satisfactory results can be achieved with one pass. obviously not brad pitt or any hair god results, but good results that'll rewind the clock a few years, given how advanced one's hair loss is. that being said, if you're unfortunately slick bald, and think you're gonna get that full head of luscious locks you once had pre-loss, then thats your fault for being delusional. have to be realistic here
  2. can you post your before/after/progress of the work she has done on you?
  3. not discrediting anything you're saying, but to play devil's advocate, i feel like this would be an easier consideration and concept for ppl to understand if top-tier surgeons (not going to name names) didn't post ONLY perfect results on their sites or in these forums. obviously everyone has different degrees on hairloss and some cases are better than others, as everyone has a different experience, but i do believe that if someone goes "oh look at ALL of these fantastic results, this could be me!", and then it doesn't turn out that way, then i kinda think that it borders on being misled. sorry if this is a jumbled thought, i'm trying to type this while watching true detective lol.
  4. i know rahal is a popular choice on here, but sadly i don't see many patient posted photos, only home-runs posted by the clinic. do you know why that is? hasson was my first choice, then i stumbled across nadimi while researching konior and his seemingly forever waitlist, and then i joined this forum and discovered multiple other doctors (rahal, gabel, diep, etc).
  5. i'm not really as worried about the crown anymore, as i am the front. the crown has seemed to stabilize over the years, and the length i wear my hair on top it can be easily camouflaged, and worst case, concealed. i am, however, torn on just who i should go to for hairline surgery, as i don't feel 100% in on one doctor in particular. i'm doing all the research i can and following along on patient threads. my goal is to have something booked for after christmas this year.
  6. yea i've noticed this as well. why is that? it's making me skeptical that none of these "home-runs" have been posted by patients, moreso of dr. rahal. i'm waiting on a few nadimi results to come to fruition before i pull the trigger. idk i'm so back and forth
  7. i'm looking at rahal myself, in addition to others, but idk there's something holding me back. i just don't see enough patient reviews and detailed talk about his procedures, like you do with others. also, there's been a rep chasing me down for a consultation since visiting the site, (where as another doctor i've consulted with, straight up said we don't need your money lol). i know he's considered world renowned and recommended on here, but i just don't know, i've read mixed reviews.
  8. i've narrowed it down to 3 who i'm interesting in using for when i pull the trigger on some hairline restoration. Nadimi is at the top of my list thus far, but sadly there aren't many patient reviews/photos of her work. I'm actually following and waiting on results from a few of you on here who have used her to help guide my decision. I've seen some great work from Rahal, but there's a few things i've noticed on results posted that lead me to believe not all his work is great, and there's just something too "informercial-ly" about his website. Not to mention low-lighting on results posted by his clinic (don't mind me, i just speculate a lot). Dr. Gabel is another doctor who i've just come across, and most reviews i've seen about him are mostly positive. I'm still doing my homework on him though, but he seems to be widely considered one of the best in the field. any input from anyone would be awesome
  9. was this a dense pack hairline? would you happen to know how many grafts per square centimeter?
  10. i too am interested in this. i was told by dr nadimi, who was trained by dr konior, that anything more than 50 per square centimeter risks shock loss to native hair in the recipient area due to the lack of blood supply. i was surprised when i saw on dr keser's site that he's doing (or can do) 75 per square centimeter.
  11. yea, i think thats what she said too. she also doesn't think i really need any work at all. but i explained to her my profession and the need to "buy 5-10 years", so she capped it at 1500. i even asked her if it was possible for 2k and she shot that down immediately, because there's no such thing as preventative hair surgery, which i guess i agree with. i was pushing hard for FUT too but she said FUE is the better option for wearing my hair shorter (which i already knew) but my concerns were with destroying the donor area with FUE out of the gate. she assured me that the technology has been far advanced since the early days of FUE surgeries.
  12. hmm okay. i just had my consult with her a few mins ago. that didn't come up, but i was quoted 1500 at the same price just to fill in my hairline. you were right, she's very straightforward. she's not going to tell you what you want to hear. i asked alot of questions and she was no bs about any of them. she's got my vote
  13. have to question why you've stopped propecia...isn't staying on it recommended after a hair transplant?
  14. wish i could help but i get a keratin treatment every 2 months and it actually makes my hair look thicker
  15. wow thats some really good work. who was your surgeon? i like the appearance of a more staggered hairline as it looks natural IMO. some surgeons make it look too linear.
  16. nah not lowering it really, i've grown fond of how it looks now and i think a juvenile hairline would look ridiculous on me. that being said, i'm more looking to fill it in and "widen" it a bit by filling in the temporal points slightly. nothing ridiculous
  17. what if you're the hot guy in the office? lol. but all seriousness tho, thats why i made this thread...to see what other people's experiences are. i do, however, work in the entertainment industry, which is why i wanted to keep it as discreet as possible until it gets to the point where it looks like its just growing, so i wanted to get a little more in depth detail as to a timeline for being on camera purposes. but i do understand that everyone is different in that regard.
