  1. Hello, A few questions about Dr. Lorenzo if you don't mind. Does Dr. Lorenzo do all the work himself? FUE and or FUT? If FUE, motorized or manual? This information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  2. Why would anyone want a permanent tattoo? What if you don't like the design? Lasering it off may destroy your follicles. Permanent is...... permanent, but it will still partly fade and require touch-ups. Why risk it? No thanks.
  3. My feeling is that if you're not willing to pay big money, don't get a hair transplant. At this point, I would only trust Dr.Wong, Dr.Cooley, Dr.Diep and a few others.
  4. I think microneedling may help. Definitely speak to multiple dermatologists. Also, instead of microneedling roller, use microneedling stamp instead. Start with the smallest needle possible (microneedling stamp .02 ml). Also make sure that the needles are titanium. And of course make sure that the needles are cleaned with alcohol of at least 64%. Make sure you put alcohol along your hairline as well. Feel free to ask me any questions. By the way, do you mind possibly telling us who performed your transplant?? You can help those of us considering the work of this particular clinic.
  5. Don't do "permanent" SMP. Do "temporary" SMP.
  6. Has anyone had temporary scalp micropigmentation? Were there any scabs? If yes, for how many days?
  7. Is it common to have some permanent "uneven terrain" in the recipient area? I'm talking slightly uneven.
  8. This is the problem...... YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET YOUR HEAD SPLIT OPEN!!!!!!!! YOU SHOULD BE PAYING EXTREME ATTENTION TO EVERY SECOND OF THE OPERATION ASKING 101 QUESTIONS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED. EXAMPLES: 1) "BEFORE YOU TOUCH MY SCALP, WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE LEVEL AND HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU DONE THIS"? 2)"I DON'T WANT TO LISTEN TO MUSIC OR WATCH TELEVISION, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY............I DON'T WANT ANYONE WORKING ON ME TO BE LISTENING TO MUSIC OR WATCHING TELEVISION." 3)ASK THEM TO EXPLAIN EVERY STEP, OTHERWISE THE DOCTOR AND HIS TEAM MAY GET LAZY OR TRY TO CUT CORNERS. 4)REFUSE TO INGEST ANYTHING THAT PUTS YOU TO SLEEP.
  9. Screw this bull**it, I'm at the point where I doubt that I'll ever let any of these fu**ers cut my scalp whether FUT or FUE. The idea of TEMPORARY SMP is sounding better and better. To the sufferers on this thread: I am deeply sorry for your pain and suffering. Please continue to research ways to solve your pain. I promise to post any possible pain remedies if I find them. Good luck, my friends.
  10. Hello. As a 44 year old Norwood 6, is it reasonable to expect a good result with 5,000 FUE + SMP?
  11. KoaX, Does Nader only do manual extraction?
  12. Who consistently creates the best hairlines? Erdogan? Cooley? Hasson/Wong? Also, why does it seem so difficult for docs/technicians to separate single hair grafts under microscope and place them at the front of the hairline where the single hair grafts belong? I don't understand.
  13. Good evening, my name is "True." Long time/first time. On a virgin scalp, let's say I decide to undergo an FUE procedure which maxes out my donor FUE area. Why can't I still do an FUT in the future with fewer grafts available in the "sweet spot"? True, if I want to do an FUT in the future, my sweet spot will not be as robust as if I had done FUT first. But, so what? The reason for my depleted sweet spot would be because my sweet spot grafts would have already been put to good use in my original FUE procedure. Basically, if I do FUE first, then my future FUT will not be as robust. But if I do FUT first, then my future FUE will not be as robust. So does it make a difference which procedure I do first? I rather try an FUE before a possible FUT since FUT seems more invasive.
