  1. Hello mate I was worried at 5 months but I knew that I was stupid to be worried that soon on. you can see (from my immediate post op photos) density was less behind the hairline. I though that this was because the used multi grafts there and the density would balance out once the 3s and 4s grew in. I thought the would take longer to grow . Photos of 5 months below. My colleagues in work called me “scrotum head” which I thought was hilarious even being on the receiving end of it. Usually it is me who insults people for a laugh.
  2. @JayLDD @Melvin-Moderator @CosmoKramer @BjornBorg + all the rest thank you for your support.
  3. Melvin, how to I delete my thread? It’s not fair on other members, researchers, you or the clinic.
  4. Thanks for your support all. I do appreciate the comments, but really need to stay away from forums. I am told not to compare , but it is impossible not to. The whole experience has driven me round the bend . I have asked to delete my account along with all its content .
  5. Are we going to get the clinic to answer the questions or not ? It just seems like we keep missing the points raised by people can we our the matter to bed
  6. Looks good for 9 months mate. I’m sure it will fill out a bit more over the next 9 months too. Mine looks very transparent when combed upwards and under light. I have attached 2 photos: one under light combed up and the other outside (not direct sunlight) and combed down. - as you can see it makes a huge difference
  7. I agree with what both of you say. There definitely seems to be a pattern with poor density behind hairline in SOME of the recent cases. Nobody except the clinic can answer why this is, perhaps they have paired techs together and the less experienced get a go on the second day. If if I would have known they were training techs in the old clinic whilst getting ready for the new one I wouldn’t have gone to be perfectly honest . I don’t even think I’d let a trainee cut my hair in the barbers let alone implant follicles. Having said that, they still do have good results , some of the techs are highly experienced .
  8. Thanks for posting a list of the good results. this forum has been full of negative comments making reference to the poor results only and pretty much ignoring the good results. Well done
  9. I’m thrilled you gave me a 3 here’s a photo to celebrate my score , pushing for that 4 sorry for invading your thread OP
  10. This forum can be a very hostile place. This forum has put me on a wild roller coaster of paranoia and sometimes also makes me hostile
  11. Melvin some days I’m extremely happy with my hair, then I see other results with poor density behind hairline which I suspect I have then it sets me off on one and I start worrying. i wish I never signed up to forums, then I’d probably be over the moon with my hair. Has the clinic acknowledged the recent drop in quality? There’s no point asking any questions unless they realise that quality has dropped . Only then can they give explanations.
  12. I know. It looks really good of the time. It is like 75% of the way to be perfect and the way I want it and expected its been the big behind hairline that’s bothered me since the 4 month mark. I cannot spike hair up as the hairline then looks see through due to lack of hair behind. i don’t think the hair behind was translated deny either . I do think most hairs have grown
  13. Over 10 months now i have a thread . Don’t want to post on yours I don’t see my density any better than yours
  14. Derek im not sure mate. Mine got changed too. I wasn’t told but my coordinator left, I have to chase down and send messages on here to the clinic to get another to talk to me im not sure if it yield issues or if it wasn’t planted as dense as I would have hoped
  15. Hello mate who is you coordinator ? When I’ve questioned my density I have been told to wait 13 months
  16. This is my hair wet and combed back in harsh light i currently cannot spike my hair as the area behind the hairline is thin. I can make it look good when combed forward so that the vertex natural hair covers the thin areas
  17. I’m not devastated , but kind of unhappy with the lack of communication by the surgeon. I’m not really happy not being contacted by him directly only by a young member of staff who by default says “give it time” the area behind the hairline is really thin.
  18. Thansk for response Melvin, I’m sure it will help future hair transplant candidates but it won’t help me as I’ve already had my surgery and so had the OP to to be honest I wish I would have seen these questions before I had my surgery. I am (and so is he OP) very lucky it isn’t a complete £&@? Up. We all read read and do our research about how a hair transplant needs to be finely tuned and decided upon. If we ask you via PM, we won’t be alerting future candidates to our worries. It is all these hidden facts that sway the whole thing I am positive the first day surgery grafts have grown a lot better than the second day surgery - why I am unsure but perhaps a different tech? Same with others , hairline is denser than the behind.
