  1. 5 YEAR UPDATE Almost 5 years since my first procedure with Asmed and still get a buzz when I get a new haircut. My result was better than I ever expected, and changed my life . I even think now how silly I was worrying about going bald , but easy to say that when I’m happy with my hair . I think the fin every day and Avodart twice a week has maintained the crown If anyone has any questions feel free to message me
  2. Hello looking good and thanks for posting Id wait a few more years before getting another , not required at present (clearly) im also going grey on the sides at the tender age of 35. The texture of gray hairs also are different . Static almost and stick out !
  3. Fair enough although I can say I’m happy with my hair now. The result is the result .
  4. Hey i don’t fully agree . I think it looks good all the time in later photos . Whilst early on I needed to maintain length and style . Now I can pretty much do any length / style
  5. Hello everyone appreciate I said the last was my last post ,but thought I’d drop in to show my 4 and (almost) a half year result. to Be honest I couldn’t be happier , and my hair doesn’t bother me anymore . I can go out without worrying about the wind and rain, I can put gel in some days but other days I just put in some water and then comb it when wet to get the direction I want , and nobody could even tell. looking back , I’m happy I went to Asmed, as even though the first result was good, they invited me Back and helped me with the issues I had. I also thank everyone in this forum and hope My record can help others like me In future . I am now 35, and to Be honest a part of me thinks ‘ why the hell did I let my hairloss Bother me to begin with?’ - but I cannot complain . My advice is if it bothers you and you can afford It , go for it.
  6. Hello, for 4 months this is looking fine. You are still in the ugly duckling phase. It’s from months 8/9 I started to see the difference, and then by 18 months I could style may hair
  7. Yes dude twice a week with fin ED . No sides and haven’t noticed any gain / further loss
  8. Ah ok i love DS Laboratories but don’t keep at it as cannot afford. I used to use the Revita Shampoo and conditioner and liked it. how much does it set you back a month £?
  9. 0.5mm of what ? Sorry if a dumb question
  10. Hello all, This will be my last post on this thread - I leave you with a positive mind. im now 10 months post op and nothing much changed . I’m very happy with my hair and the issue I had (personally) with minor lack of density behind hairline (which Asmed sorted out for me free) is not an issue anymore. To anyone thinking about surgery and making a post on here, please be ready for the amount of negative comments to out number positive ones, as people will try to make you feel bad , either for a laugh or due to them having their own vendetta against someone or a certain clinic. A massive thank you to Dr Koray and the while team for giving me this result and for helping me when I was paranoid (which I was when looking back as there wasn’t much wrong with my first result, it was the negative people on here that poisoned my mind) I would say that Asmed are one of the best clinics in the world and this is reflected on how they treat their patients and stand by their work. all the best, happy growing p.s - I will return when my crown decides to disappear
  11. I was told that twice a week gave people good result when used alongside Fin, so I gave it a go . It’s been 10 months now
  12. Hi i do 1mg finasteride a day and 0.5 dutasteride twice a week. i try to use nizoral on Saturday
  13. Second this also a little length and style would go a long way and make it look much fuller
  14. Hi Egy I just think the OP should grow his Hair a little and assess again after . I don’t think this is defending the clinic , I’m defending then OP as I know first hand how it feels. I had the forum members criticise my transplant and call it a failure too. I then concentrated on the imperfections rather than the improvements made. how you style your hair and present it is also key after a transplant , this is a matter of fact and true density can never be achieved. Let’s give OP some support on advise on how to better his current situation without having another surgery just yet .
  15. Hi sorry but I disagree that ‘it has nothing to do with length’ - tell me I’m not the only one who thinks a transplant is an ‘illusion of density’ and you need to have some length on order to achieve that illusion . why do you think transplant patient never have buzz cuts ? I don’t understand what you mean by ‘I could cut my hair even shorter and have great density’ - what do you mean exactly ?
  16. Can you let him grow his hair another inch or so and then jump to conclusions after. Someone body must agree hair is very short and transplants require a bit of length to give density ? His hair is about 1cm at the most and he has high contrast , what are we expecting to see? A full head of hair again?
