Doctors who prescribe the drug withot baseline bloodwork done are wrong imo. A cosmetic surgeon wshould not be advising a patient to get on the drug before getting baseline bloodwork done. For example if your baseline DHT is very high I would think the chances of side affects are very very slim. On the other hand if your baseline DHT is already low you have a much higher chance.

I dont see any market for natural DHT blockers. If your sensitive to side affect from Propecia. Reducing DHT through natural substance isnt really going to make a difference. If you dont get affects it probably jst isnt reducing DHT all that much & wont have a huge affect & redcing hairloss. But it is worth a try though I guess. The strange thing is that when I took Propecia for 2 years . I took it every 3 days the 2.5mg(too high a dose) & it didnt stop my hairloss. I stopped it in 2017 & thought then I would lose hair rapidly. But I have lost hair at the same rate since. Just lose a small bit every year. Have done since I was 17. Weird that reducing DHT didnt stop my hairloss.

fue scars at back of head are so small though. I get a zero fade & no body has ever mentioned the small dots. They are noticeble close up but doesnt bother me at all.

It is shock loss. I had shock loss in 2017 in mid scalp area. Had to stop Propecia & it still all came back. It should start coming back 4-6 months

Melvin & Bill on here are two examples. Im not on them anymore & my hair is thinning slowly but still looks fine apart from the crown. Im certaintly not going to give up anyway. And I will be a norwood 5-6 without transplants,smp in 10-15 years I actually lost hair on Fin from 2015-2017. It slows hair loss doesnt stop it completly We have seen big advancemts in Transplants & SMP in the last 10 years. Next 10 years I think they transplants will improve further. More surgeons will reach this standard You should use toppik for your thin area's

Fade hairstyle is very important for the top to look thicker. Im surprised this isnt mentioned more but it is a huge factor for FUE. Yes you will see small scars but I get a 0 fade & no body has ever said anything about my small scars not even the barber. FUT way more noticeble

why do they take the hair so high in the donor in some cases? like it will be a great result though in a few months though

Fin defintely can cause sleep problems. I had them. No issue getting asleep but would wake up feeling wired. Went on for a year had ED too. Gradually improved but need to stick to strict diet & lifestyle.

I cant take finersteride. Yes it fades after time. If the smp goes well I may transition to a short hairtyle with smp in the future. They guy thats doing it had smp himself looked so realistic I had to ask was it smp to be sure

Im getting smp for my scalp & crown mostly. I little concerned the crown is a bit bare but i have cut it shorter to blend in with the hairs that are left And the smp artist as said it is a simple job to do. I saw him in person.

by the time who lost much of hair transplants will probably even better. Been improving last few years body hair. better survival of grafts etc

your hairline is very high. yo may have enough grafts in the future for your hair loss particurly with BHT. your not in as bad position as you think.

great result for grafts used. Still plenty of grafts left. Hair greying helps with the contrast too
