  1. I think LBJ was not looking to have the whole back of his head scarred like a typical HT patient because he keeps his hair shorter. I don't think finasteride is allowed in the NBA so he will most likely keep progressing. I wonder how many grafts that strip scar could yield in his case? Maybe he had additional FUE
  2. I thought I read somewhere that Rooney doesn't take finasteride? I think that's difficult for athletes who want to go the HT route because isn't fin banned due to altering hormones? Not that it gives you any sort of athletic edge anyway, I can tell you that firsthand lol.
  3. 1 am! That's a very dedicated staff. Looks great, can't wait to see the progress!
  4. I've been enjoying your snap chat stories! Keep them coming, they give the viewers a unique perspective on HT clinics. Thanks
  5. Nice planning zenlife! Nice conservative placement
  6. That's great to hear! I am having a FUE procedure with Dr. Hasson in August. Would you mind if I contacted you privately with questions?
  7. Thanks for the answers Doug! Looking forward to updates from this patients incredible results
  8. Hey Doug do you have those transaction % stats? Also, do both Dr. Hasson and Dr. Wong have the same team of technicians to extract grafts? Or are they different? Any updates with this patient? I think the yield is incredible and the results look great for still having so much time for thickening/growth. I was surprised to read he has 3000 FUE left in the donor. Can you give a range (low to high) of donor numbers that you see in FUE patients? Thank you!
  9. You could be going through the shedding phase of the proscar. I kept shedding when I started until about month 7-8. But you are definitely doing the right thing by starting it. Just be patient, you chose a great doc and have amazing donor hair!
  10. Looks great! Doug, how do you feel about FUE first and then FUT later, especially for young guys? Would the doctor do anything differently in the original FUE surgery to plan for future FUT?
  11. I'm not sure. Only you and the doctor know the conversations you had about your expectations going into surgery. But like I said, it looks like you had good total yield which is a good sign. Going in for another procedure might be unpleasant but it's highly likely you will get good yield again.
  12. I agree with chrisdav, your hairline was brought much too forward without enough grafts. It looks like you had good yield but you could consider another surgery to add some density
  13. I believe Dr Hasson shaves the entire recipient area. It looks like Spidey may have had some of his hairline shaved off but most of his recipient area had little to no hair. For instance if he had thinning throughout the whole frontal area and wanted to address that in surgery, he would have had to shave that entire area. At that point you might as well shave the whole head because it looks a little ridiculous. I'm having a very similar procedure to Spidey in August, but with around 800 more grafts. I'm sure some of my hairline is going to have to be shaved down but I'm hoping it doesn't look too ridiculous where I could keep what's behind it to conceal the recipient area until it grows back. Whatever the case, I'm going to trust what Dr. Hasson wants to do in order to get the best results.
  14. Congrats! I'm doing FUE with Hasson in August. Are you able to share pics? That's nice to hear they gave you 300 grafts free. Good luck!
  15. You are still really early in the process, so be patient! It seems to me that the transplanted hair has already made a big difference! Give it time and be happy that you got the growth that you've had so early. There should be much more to come! After a year to 18 months you will be able to make a decision whether or not you want to go in for another surgery to thicken up any areas that are too thin for you. But it looks good so far
  16. I think it would be more concerning to your girlfriend if she found out that you were trying to hide something so big from her rather than just tell her straight up. It took me some time and courage but I told my girlfriend that I'm going to have one and showed her pics of patient timelines. She was totally supportive and even offered to travel with me to the procedure (out of the country). I've found it much easier to talk about the more you open up to people. I understand it's easier said than done but if people truly care about you they will understand you and support you no matter what. Good luck!
  17. Thanks for sharing your results spidey, I would be lying if I said it didn't influence my decision to go with Dr. Hasson for a FUE procedure almost exactly a year after your surgery. I'm coming from the states to do it. I want to make a thread discussing my hair loss story and to document my surgery/recovery. Do I just start one in the FUE sub forum? Your results look incredible, congrats. Thanks
