  1. Don't do it - wait at least 3 weeks, if not more
  2. I have, and I absolutely agree that there are some killer Rahal results out there. However, the clinic itself hasn't posted a lot on this site recently, and the ones being posted are the easy ones like this. I would love to see them posting the killer transformation cases that I know exist.
  3. Wow - absolutely wow. Just looked at your before pics. Truly amazing, congrats man, how is Dr Hasson not the absolute best strip surgeon on the planet?
  4. Gentlemen, all good points, but we have to assume that Dr Rahal examined his lifetime donor supply of grafts and estimated his future hairloss state. I think we all agree that it was a shit load number of grafts in such a small area, and we are all envious that this guy could get something like this done due to his lifetime graft supply and low NW projection (assumption) - the point I want to make is do any of you find it interesting that Rahal are electing to post these results? I mean lets be honest, I think if any half decent surgeon transplanted so many grafts into such a small area then the result will always be a brilliant knock-out like this. What exactly are thes results showing us about Rahal that makes him great? Yes, air get his hairlines are best on the planet. That's a fact, and this patient chose the best surgeon for what he wanted. Results like these are easy. I want to see the ones where he transforms people.
  5. So the doctor's excuse is that one patient masturbated and the other poured gasoline over his own head? Really? Does anyone actually believe that, or am I just losing my mind? Bill, surely you know better - he poured gasoline over his own head! It kinda reminds me when I was in grade school, and the dog ate my homework.
  6. And - "Dr. Hakan Doganay performs advanced FUE exclusively at his clinic in Turkey on only one patient per day. - See more at: http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/Consult-a-Physician/doctors.asp?DrID=668#page=page-1" Isn't this also an incorrect fact?
  7. Actually, reading the Doganay profile, it still states the following: "Dr. Hakan Doganay uses the Choi Implanter pen for placing grafts into recipient sites. With the help of several experienced nurses, follicular units are carefully loaded into Choi implanter pens ranging from 0.6mm to 0.8mm in size. Dr. Doganay then carefully places all the grafts himself into tiny recipient sites using the pen implanter." Isn't this factually incorrect now as confirmed by the rep?
  8. Is he officially on probation then? If so, then I am shocked that this fact isn't stated on his profile page
  9. The grafts are fine as long as you wear that hat, the real risk is stretching the scar from the tee-off, although I think you should still be fine. Did you ask Rahal?
  10. Well, u should go to Bosley then, they use both ARTAS and Neografts technology. In all seriousness, I struggle with the comments above. I consulted with Wesley, and though he was the nicest, most honest, and definitely seemed nothing less than a ethical surgeon. I thought him and his staff conducted themselves in the most utmost of professionalism. I chose not to go with him, but if he can start cranking out mega-sessions then I think in 5-10 years he could compete the big boys such as Shapiro, Rahal, and Hasson.
  11. I know at H&W they give you a clicking counter that you can count with the surgeon as he makes the incisions. It could happen, and probably does, but the technitions would know, and if they turnover from the clinic, I'm sure some would come forward, so I highly doubt the practice is common .
  12. Um, actually every single Dr that charges his fee based on the number of grafts will reimburse you for the amount of grafts that fall short. Most surgeons charge a fee per graft. Now if he had gone over the number of grafts and he never charged you for the extra ones - I've heard stories that Rahal won't charge you if the extra grafts aren't a large number.
  13. We should not be talking about the implanting of grafts. Except for Konior and a lesser degree Sahpiro, its a known fact that the mojority of top 10 clinics have the techs do most/all of the implanting. I believe that is true for H&W and Rahal. The issue is the process to make incisions into the recepient area, a process that takes place after the extractions, and before the implanting of grafts. The incision process should be, and for all of the top 5 clinics, is performed 100% by the surgeons. As Doganay uses an implanter pen which combines the incision process with the impanting process, it is a known fact that he only does 66% of this, and therefore he is only making 66% of the incisions himself. This is what should be totally unacceptable.
  14. I agree, the man is a top top class surgeon with results that speak for themselves, but I still think it is slightly concerning that he never discussed a long-term plan with you. I believe strongly that a surgeon that wants to be recommended by this site should at a minimum measure one's donor estimate lifetime grafts, and discuss a long-term plan with the patient. I'm sorry, its not a long-term plan if he hasn't evaluated the lifetime donor supply.
  15. And do you and all the mods happen to share the same house of Dogannay's rep too?
  16. I'm surprized a top surgeon like Rahal wasn't able to estimate that. Hopefully Paleo doesn't see this
  17. Or maybe you just happen to live in the same house as him or one of his reps.
  18. Good ol "Joe" is one of em now.
  19. Ron for sure. He hand trained Paul, so you want to go with the master as aposed to the student.
  20. That's brutal. How long was the surgery interrupted for?
