  1. Looking great Sunny, just updated my 8 months pics too. Just think we had our HTs on the same day, must have been a damn fine day to have a HT! __________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  2. I had 3305, but it took about 12 hours from start to finish, 6 hours does seem a bit rushed, did the doctor have a hot date to attend to?
  3. Big improvement and the signs are there that it is plain sailing from here. Hopefully you will soon feel brand new! __________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  4. So another month flies by............................................................ Its now been eight months and counting since I ventured out on my HT adventure to see Dr Bhatti in the City Beautiful, India. At this rate I don't think my trusty Phillips 360 trimmer thingy can take much more, I might have to treat myself to a professional haircut long before my target date of Christmas this year. Again I hope my pics inspire some of you to take the leap into having your HT done, as always PM me if you have any queries or would like any advice with regards to my HT journey. I have taken a variety of pics over the last couple of days in the hope of giving a more realistic view of my results thus far. Also I may be taking a couple of family members from the UK to see Dr Bhatti later this year, let me know if any of you guys want to hop on board, the more the merrier. So, onto the pics.................as always any feedback is most welcome. Thanks!
  5. Looking really good at this point David, I have to agree that your hairline is near on perfect. Really pleased for you. Hopefully, in another 6 months and you will be reliving those old long hair rocker days! I will update my own 8 month pics late today if I get time, you seem to be on the same path as me. __________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  6. Congratulation Dog, you look brand new! I too went to Dr Bhatti and my results are more or less the same as yours, amazing! Vicky, you might get a better response if you started your own thread, but in answer to your queries, 1. There is no reason I can see why you are not a good candidate for HT. 2. Your new hair will blend into your existing hair, no-one will notice, it will all look perfectly natural. 3. Personally I am extremely happy with my procedure. 4. I recommend Dr Bhatti very highly, I think if you go elsewhere in India, then maybe you are showing the first signs of madness! 5. You can style your hair anyway you want, If you look at my photos and Dog's photos then this is really not an issue. Good luck ________________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  7. Hi Vicky, In answer to your question, once the procedure was complete I routinely buzzed by hair down to a 2/3 for the first 3 months or so, basically until the time I felt that the growth would be somewhat on a par with my original hair. Now, only if I look under extreme light, can my hair at times seem a bit see through, but generally it seems thick enough to pass as completely natural. I have been out numerous times and no-one can ever suspect that I have had a hair transplant, those that I do tell think I am joking! Because you only want a relatively small area doing, you may want to discuss with Dr Bhatti your concerns about density. I have learnt that a hair transplant is about creating an illusion of a full head of hair, you will never really get the same density as your original hair, but a good Doctor such as Dr Bhatti will use his skill and expertise to create this illusion. In no way, can anyone tell I have transplanted hair, if I'm OK then you really have little to worry about. As you are already in India, go for Dr Bhatti, he will perform his magic on you!
  8. Hi Canon, firstly congratulations on your hair transplant with Dr Bhatti, I'm sure you have made a great choice. As for post operative care, I more or less followed Dr Bhatti's instructions. I did after 6 days when washing my hair give my crusts a gentle rub when they were soft from the shampoo just to help them dislodge and fall off. After 10 days I was more or less crust free. I continued with the baby oil every morning for about 6 months. I had my op in October so being self employed working from home, I only really needed to go out and face my fellow humans either on the school run or taking my young boys to various outdoor activities. I wore a hat on the school run and then kept my hair uncovered for the rest of the day until it was time to venture out again. I actually wore a hat when venturing out from November to about April, but the weather here meant I certainly didn't look out of place. Under the hat, I always wore one of the cotton bandana's which I got from Dr Bhatti's clinic, just to protect my grafts from the woolen hat and to keep the hat baby oil free. Apart from that I used the 5% Minoxdil foam in the evenings and took the tablets recommended by Dr Bhatti every day. As for complications, there really weren't any, everything went as planned, like clockwork. The only time you really need to be extra careful is the first couple of weeks, after that just take the meds and try to forget that you have had a hair transplant. Please feel free to PM me if you have any other concerns and the best of luck for the next few months, not that you'll need it!
  9. Sethticles, you don't look like the same person. Only an Aussie would be mad enough to take his before and after photo on the Bridge on the River Kwae lol
  10. Sethticles, you shed at 9 and 12 months, is there any reason why this happened, sounds a bit bizarre to me.
  11. Hi stinger99, Thank you for your kind words. What can I say, I know myself the results are probably too good to be true, but they are as real as the balding head I had prior to surgery. You did read correctly that my grafts did not shed, I was anxiously waiting to go through that stage but it never happened, which may well explain why the early results are better than I had ever expected. Thanks again.
  12. Hi Yonex, Thanks for your reply, you can see from my latest pics I have wet hair, I'm not really sure how I can add concealer to wet hair. I do dye my hair though, but I don't see how that will make it look fuller. Also I have no reason to deceive anyone on this forum. I think maybe I am just lucky or maybe I am a freak of nature! I notice you are based in the UK, I am based in Central England, if you are nearby then please feel free to meet up and you will see my results in person thus alleviating any doubts you may have. For 3305 grafts, I do have very good reason to be thrilled with my result so far,I can't thank my doctor enough.
  13. Thanks guys for taking the time to reply, always appreciate your opinions. I will update with 8 months pics in the next few days, watch this space.
  14. Hi, I think a little pain is to be expected, I had the same for a good few weeks post FUE just like you have described, nothing major, more an irritant. When you consider what your scalp has just been through then I hope you will appreciate that a little discomfort is to be expected, however it should all calm down within a week or two. ____________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE Oct 2014 3305 grafts http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  15. Mick50, you're spot on with the Roy Keane analogy. I was quite warming to BUSA, he certainly had strong views and character which is always a plus to any forum discussion. I think he was over bashing one doctor and had moved on to his next doctor, who was probably the Mick McCarthy to his Roy Keane, with a similar end result!
  16. Most patients do not want others to know that they have had an HT, I don't think there is an argument here. Most people at some time would like to have the hair cut short, again I hope this is a reasonable assumption. Now, the scar thing, it may well be invisible in most cases, but just google HT scar, there are numerous pictures that will put a potential patient off having the FUT procedure. These are not made up, they are real patients who have had to live with that scar and have probably made up all sorts of interesting stories about the origin of that scar. FUT may well be better than FUE in some way or another, I will let the good Doctor's opinion count here, as stated he is the professional who conducts his work successfully day in day out, however other doctors who conduct their work successfully day in day out using different methods may well disagree. Most patients are nervous and anxious as it is when choosing to go through the HT process, do they really want to risk having a hideous scar too? It may well only stretch etc in 5% of cases, but do you want to be that 5%? Also do they want to be sliced open and have part of their scalp removed? Is this not what happens in FUT? My main reason for going FUE was the risk of the scar and the fact that I didn't really fancy being sliced open. But each to their own....................
  17. Hi Cedric, I had 3305 in one sitting so I guess you should be OK with 3500-4000. It will probably take all day, but no reason why it can't be done. __________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  18. I agree that its a pretty large area to cover, but you seem to be doing really well, probably better than you could have expected at this moment in time. Obviously density will be problem, but over the next few months, it should all thicken up and if you keep it at about an inch to an inch and a half, your scalp will hopefully be covered. All in all, looks a decent enough job, even though it hasn't happened yet! __________________________________________________ _____________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  19. Judging from my own experiences, more and more patients are going away from the US and the UK for their hair transplants, be it FUT or FUE and in many cases FUT scar repair using FUE, (sorry, couldn't resist but it's a fact!). One of the reasons may well be a more humble and less commercially focused workforce whose priority is the outcome of your hair, not their bank balance. In the UK they will almost never turn anyone down. Personally I think some US/UK doctors have a lot to worry about especially with most hair forums championing the foreign doctors whose results are exemplary. Along with some spectacular results and staggeringly lower costs involved in achieving these results, then why would anyone want to pay shedloads more in the US/UK for a similar and in many cases far less superior HT than they would abroad? I, myself paid under 3,700 pounds sterling for my FUE in India, I was quoted 16,000 pounds sterling for FUT in the UK and as much as 30,000 for FUE! _______________________________________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  20. First thing you need to do is see your doctor and see what he makes of it.
  21. Hi, my transplanted hairs did not fall out either but this was in no way detrimental to my end result. It's probably a good sign, so it's way way too early to start getting worried just yet, (and sounding off like Hudson from Aliens, Game over man, my hairs f*&?ed, were all gonna die, lol). Check out my results below, hopefully it will give you some peace of mind! __________________________________________________ ____________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  22. You will be on steroids for a lot longer than 2 months once you get addicted to your new artificial muscles.
