  1. Thanks John, I will update again in a week or so, it's growing like wildfire! ______________________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  2. Hi Raj, hope you are well mate. There does seem to be some movement from your last update, I think Dr Bhatti is probably right with regards to the meds. You had your procedure the day after me, I have been taking the meds religiously as prescribed which probably accounts for the difference in growth. Hopefully you will get there, slowly but surely, don't forget, the race is still on for the next 4 months lol! The winner pays for all the tempo (autorickshaw) driver lifts home next time we hit Chandigarh! I will update my pics in a week or so...................... ______________________________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  3. By the time you have made up your mind to have an HT, then you will have done so for personal reasons, it's about you this time, no-one else, but you! There will always be those that agree and disagree, but you have to think of the underlying reason you want hair on your head, is it to please yourself or others. Obviously kids will love their parents no matter what their hair situation is, hence the reaction you experienced. Would you have encouraged your own father to have a hair transplant.....probably not. Would you have thought less of your father if he had started losing his hair.....probably not. Personally, I was upfront with my family and friends AFTER I had made the decision to go for an HT, I treated it as not such a big deal, the reaction was probably mixed. I seemed to get more encouragement from friends, one even took time off work to accompany me to India to get mine done. Basically I see the reaction you are displaying quite often, a person who wants to go through HT but is swayed from the yes vote to the no vote, months and years pass and still a decision is not made, all the while the person is suffering from the personal effects of his hair loss. If you do not want the subject of having a HT taking over your life, and you are not likely to go through with it, accept your hair the way it is and move on with life. My advice to you........ to hell with what others think and say, if you want to have an HT and have the means to have an HT for which you have worked hard, then go for it, it's your life and you only get to live it once. Having your wisdom teeth pulled out can be a lot worse in terms of surgery. Trust me, you will not look back on the decision. _________________________________________________________________________ FUE with Dr Tejinder Bhatti OCT 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  4. Hi David, you're looking good to go after 3 months. If I compare your pics to mine at that stage they are very similar in terms of growth. I think you will now start making the big gains., say goodbye to baldness now whilst there is still time! ____________________________________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE 3305 Grafts Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  5. Hi NYC1180, I too have had my FUE HT done by Dr Bhatti, you will see that my results throw any argument against the good Doctor's graft spacing totally out the window. A picture is worth a thousand words, so check out my pics below that should put one persons continual unfair criticism of Dr Bhatti's work to bed once and for all. Also, as I have mentioned before with the Turkish Doctors, the cost per graft would have been twice as much at the time, and with the graft spacing being much tighter I would have needed twice as many grafts therefore eating into my future donor. Therefore I would have paid up to 4 times the price, spent much longer in surgery, heavily reduced my donor area all for essentially more or less the same result over a year. As I have also mentioned before, I would be interested in comparing my results over a year to that of the other doctors in order to prove my point. Therefore by going to Dr Bhatti, I got myself a first class FUE, saved thousands and got a result I believe any Doctor would be proud off. Check out my thread below http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  6. Hi Techie, Your hair loss is very similar to what mine was and I too went to Dr Bhatti to have my FUE HT. Personally, looking at the pics, I think your crown area has been addressed so I think its way to early to start to worry, just sit back, take the meds etc and enjoy the ride. Hopefully you will have similar results to what I have had so far, good luck mate. ________________________________________________________________ Dr Bhatti FUE Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  7. Sounds feasible, you may want to get the advice of some of the HT Doctors on this forum who I'm sure will provide you with their expert opinion. Also, I did read somewhere that at first the new hairs may seem wirey (more so with BHT), but after time they will settle down to a more natural texture, so maybe it is too early to panic. Oh , and some recent photos might assist in any diagnosis. __________________________________________________ ____ FUE Dr Bhatti Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  8. Hi, my thinking behind the 'rogue hairs' you mention is that the technician has not possibly followed the rules when inserting the grafts into the slits, i.e. placing grafts in keeping with your natural hair pattern. This has resulted in the unruly hairs. Not sure how you will get around this but clay/gel maybe a good start. ______________________________________________________ FUE Dr Bhatti Oct 2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  9. This thread really means nothing without pictures, UKBoy, if you provide clear pictures of pre op, post op and monthly pics you will probably get the answers you are really looking for.
  10. Thanks mate, according to some stats on this website only 70% there yet. Still on the Meds mate, I decided to carry on for a year as I have had no side effects.
  11. It is pretty awesome, just a felt a sense of duty to let you know. I have just uploaded my 7 month updates. Thanks again mate. 12. Wow, its now been 7 months to the day since I had my FUE HT (3,305 grafts) done by Dr Bhatti, and breaking with tradition, my update pics are bang on time. The first pic is my before pic, the next 4 pics are my hair just washed and still wet. The next lot are after a quick towel dry. I am still trimming my hair myself with my trusty Phillips 360 thingy, after 10 years of practice why stop now, I might even treat myself to a professional haircut for Christmas this year. Hope my pics inspire some of you to take the leap into having your HT done, in my book, you only live once so why not! For some of you who are suffering in different ways because of your hair loss, it really will make the world of difference. Just treat it as any other obstacle that life will throw in your way, knock it down and move on. As always, comments are most welcome, and also, as always please feel free to PM me if you would like me to answer any questions or queries you may have. Cheers
  13. Hi Johnny, after reading your write-up over a year ago, I made my own mind up what to do about my hair loss. If you see the line from my write-up below, 'However at the same time I came across this site and after reading a few posts, in particular a chap from Australia who had the FUE procedure carried out in India for a fraction of the price I was quoted for FUT in the UK' It was your write-up over a year ago that convinced me to go for HT, go FUE and go with Dr Bhatti. Can't thank you enough mate! I hit 7 months yesterday and will upload some new pics shortly. My own write-up link is as below, http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  14. Hi Johnny, really glad for your input. If you see the line from my write-up below, 'However at the same time I came across this site and after reading a few posts, in particular a chap from Australia who had the FUE procedure carried out in India for a fraction of the price I was quoted for FUT in the UK' That chap from Australia was you, it was your write-up over a year ago that convinced me to go for HT, go FUE and go with Dr Bhatti. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/167897-hair-transplant-dr-tejinder-bhatti-darling-buds-chandigarh-india.html Can't thank you enough mate! I hit 7 months yesterday and will upload some new pics shortly. Cheers
  15. Hi Rajendra, if I were you I would get in touch with Dr Bhatti. He had many clients from Mumbai when I was there having my own HT done. There is probably a very good reason why these people flew to Chandigarh to have their HTs done rather than go locally in Mumbai. Check out my results using the link below. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html Any questions, please feel free to PM me, always glad to help.
  16. Hi BigP, It's been a pleasure reading your writeup, I had my HT a few months before yours and I am approaching the 7 month phase. I actually told everyone I was having it done, was never a problem, I am now a walking ad! I have a similar background to yourself and have gone through the fibres phase too lol, also the electric waves description of the occasional pain post surgery is the perfect choice of words. Anyway, I look forward to seeing your updates, hopefully you will get an end result similar to mine. ___________________________________ Dr Bhatti 3305 FUE 20/10/2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  17. Hi Sean, Have you thought about going abroad for your HT, you could get a really tidy job done for a fraction of what you will pay in the US. For example, check out my experience below, http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  18. Hi, Just wondered whether you thought about India. I am from England and Turkey would have been easier to travel to but I decided on India, check out my results below. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
  19. Harley Street is just a license to print money, if you only need 1000 grafts then probably your best option is at one of the European docs recommended by this site. The 2 mentioned in the last post would probably be a good start.
  20. I'd go along with this, only had the one HT and the surgeon smashed it! ___________________________________ Dr Bhatti 3305 FUE 20/10/2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  21. Hi Baldsy, Have you thought about getting the procedure done abroad where due to economies of scale you can get the job done by an excellent surgeon for a fraction of the price you will pay in the US. Check out my thread below, there are other top class surgeons abroad but personally I wouldn't swap my HT experience with Dr Bhatti for anyone else. Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have, I am always happy to assist fellow forummers. ___________________________________ Dr Bhatti 3305 FUE 20/10/2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
  22. Thanks Jay, yes the disco's in Chandigarh, much prefer the sports bar on a big game night, them Indians get more drunk than us Brits!
  23. Thanks Transformer, will be interesting to see how you are getting on too. California - I will update with a few higher quality pics in the next few days after I give it a trim. husqvarnawrk - Thanks for your comment, it is indeed an incredible change far outweighing my initial expectations. densedream - Thanks again for your comments, as they say across the pond, feel like a million dollars! somebody stop me!
  24. Hi, its recommended to be taken by most surgeons post HT, so I would probably go with the opinion of these doctors and say it is useful. I have been taking it for nearly 7 months post FUE, can't be 100% sure whether its made the difference but I went by the recommendation of the doctor. ___________________________________ Dr Bhatti 3305 FUE 20/10/2014 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/178931-my-fue-dr-tejinder-bhatti-oct-2014-a.html
