im on fin for 4 years now. The only side i have is watery semen .But since i have no plans to have kids for now it dont worry me. On the other side i found that i can go 5-7 times for sex in one day,so it kinda boosted my libido, the other good "side effect" i found that my muscle mass dont go away after i stop workout . are you sure they grew? Almost all transplanted hair fall out first and then start to regrow. This is an initial hair that was transplanted , that is why its so thick comparing to the other. In my case i just understood that those hair stuck and either dead completely or blocking the way for a new hair . Also such hair gave me inflammation. As it would be a foreign object that force my immune system to reject it. Anyway after around 6 months i just removed them with pincers. They came out extremely easily ,like nothing was holding them .Most of them were folded closer to the follicle as when they were implanted , they were not put straight in to the channel and bended .And i think that is the reason why they didn't survive. Just share my story, consult with your doctor about this situation.

i had HT , and had a number of hairs like that , they were dead hair with dead follicles . Thats why they just stuck there.

i was on some thai generic finasteride then i switched to Teva finasteride and had a massive hair loss. I guess Teva has more active ingridient in tablets that thai fin . So not all generics are the same, i guess

some ingridients can cause inflammation which can kill follicles. But 6 months is a little too much.

i've been on finasteride for a year , then dropped it for 5 years, then started again 3 years ago . Nothing major changed really. Its like with any hormone medicine. Some people have harsh sides ,some mild, some don't have any . Now you can close this topic.

if you dont take finasteride ,then just shave it off. Make no sense to do any surgery at this moment if your hair loss is not stopped . IF you gonna hit NW6 ,theres not enough donor hair to cover such area. Maybe with beard / body hair. Your best option is finasteride at this moment. Thats the cruel reality

im sure its transplanted hair , its positioned in the area where i had no hair prior to operation

to make story short: i had HT and among transplanted hair there were a few gray hair from the sides . Well they didn't look good, too visible. So sometimes i pulled them out . And today i found that non pigmented hair started to grow as pigmented ( dark) . So half of the hair is gray and botton half is dark ! I'm gonna attach photo little later. What do you think ? So it means the pigmentation of the hair depend of its location ?

all properly transplanted grafts are safe and rooted after 4 months after the operation . If a hair do not grow , neither shed it means it is dead and it is stuck. If you leave it there you may have inflammation in that area especially if you use rogaine . I'm sure that if he try to pull out one of those short , not growing, hairs , it will come out easily and it will be folded .

most of the times those are folded hairs with follicles that were implanted improperly and stuck, if you try to pull it and it come out easy ,its dead.

you re right, those are dead ones. If you see transplanted hair that dont fall out , neither grow; its dead. All those short hair you can pull out ,they r dead too.

do you use minoxidil and finasteride ? How long you had this redness ? If you stop using minoxidil (if you use) redness goes away ? IF you have inflammation you should stop using minoxidil and apply antibiotics.
