  1. Hi guys, I usually don't post after every update to my blog but thought it would be a good idea this time to get some feedback from the community on my HT journey so far. I think I am pretty much on track. My HT was with Dr. Alexander. As always, thanks for all the education and support.
  2. this is a wow result for 3717 grafts. Lately, you r firing on all cylinders and we know why.
  3. Nice job Alan. What is the plan for those 1000 grafts? Where would they need to be for best cosmetic result?
  4. This is definitely one of the most impressive results I have seen. And I wouldn't in my wildest dreams think that this guy had a HT and was so bald before. Magnificent work.
  5. ah, what a change... how many grafts?
  6. It's easy to get a HT done but not lose weight! Congrats on great results with both.
  7. comeon guys, your expectations are too much. I think it looks very good for the six month mark. Huge improvement from where you were at. Only a few results are WOW at six months.
  8. WTH, botox seems like a panacea!
  9. lol, don't you just love it when these things happen. thanks for sharing
  10. Eman, nice.. i m sure it is a great feeling to be styling your hair again. Really happy that HT turned out very well for you.
  11. Yup spex, would be nice to see an update.
  12. Adrian, do you mean 24.3 cm2 (cm squared)? Area is measured in cm^2 and not cm.
  13. javy, dandruff is a well known effect of minox. Minox can really irritate the transplanted area, so many docs don't advise applying minox on the recipient area following surgery. If I were you, I would wait out a month before applying it on the recipient area. You can aaply minox on areas with no transplanted grafts, if you want to.
  14. I had my surgery in April with Dr. A and can say for sure that he wasn't doing FUE then. During surgery, he mentioned that Dr Feller had invited him to try the new FUE instrument. I would think it is going to be a while before Dr. A offers the FUE option to his patients but it doesn't hurt to call his clinic and ask.
  15. Drew, I can see you becoming another bobman. Will definitely follow your progress. Happy growing ... my gut feeling is that your results are going to be exemplary.
  16. t_gerry, I have only seen good results from one doctor in India - Dr. AP from Delhi. He is not recommended on this site now cos of some ethical concerns. I have been impressed with clear presentations of his work. You may want to check him out. Jagdish's second HT was with him as well and his results are presented on the other forum as well. Good luck.
  17. hounddog, just chill man. Worrying is not going to solve anything and if at all can only prove counterproductive. I haven't seen anything negative on this doc so far. Visualize yourself with a full head of hair and things will turn out that way Good luck.
  18. It is typical to get some jitters a week before the procedure, but on the day you will be fine. You are in one of the best hands possible. Keep looking at your doctor's results and it will make you feel better.
  19. You may want to follow my progress, no results to report as yet. I requested contacts of patients of Indian origin at Dr. A's clinic but didn't get any. Ultimately, I proceeded based on the many other results I saw on this forum and the fact that race really doesn't play that big a role in HT.
  20. Good luck bud. I can't refrain from expressing my anger at how a clinic resorts to these cheap car salesmen like tactics offering discounts on immediate booking.
  21. Speegs, I had my procedure with Dr. A two months ago. No results to report as of now but he has proved himself over and over again in these forums. His charges are $4/graft. And he didn't require shaving in my case (I didn't have any hair in the transplanted area anyway!) I can answer any questions for you, if needed.
