  1. I know coalition doctors who don't map hair for miniaturization. Maybe some doctors can comment on what their thoughts on mapping for miniaturization are.
  2. great results and that too @ 4 months. jump on ur bed .. be jolly
  3. This thread makes me want to ask why someone needs to apply minoxidil on the transplanted hair. The transplanted hair should really be resistant to MPB and shouldn't be needing any medication. By doing so, IMO, you probably are risking making the transplanted hair dependent on it. Isn't that so?
  4. Hi all, I am really glad I found this forum. I have been reading widely on this forum and educating myself. Many results are nothing short of awesome(!) and I'm hoping for some decent results as well. I am 28 years old and have lost hair mainly in the front with thinning in the crown. I will be getting a HT done by Dr. Scott Alexander next week. Can someone point me to some blogs of patients of Indian origin who have had good results? Also, I am a little concerned that I am a little young for HT. Is there a minimum recommended age for HT? Any inputs are appreciated. Thanks.

  6. Hi guys, this is my first post here. I am 27 and have been thinking of HT for a while now. I live in Phoenix, AZ and have taken a consultation as well from one of the recommended doctors here. The doc advised me to get a 2800-3000 graft to restore the front and try medication to restore the back and crown. I am really apprehensive about taking propecia cos of possibility of nasty side effects (ED). Also, I read on other forums about ppl who stopped the drug but could still not get rid of its effects. And frankly, I don't think it is worth that. Is there no other alternative? Can I do a HT now to restore the front and later the back without taking any drugs? Please advise. Also, on average how many grafts are available for transplant in a single session and over a lifetime? I have seen some docs do more than 5000 in a session. Is that really possible?
