  1. Hi guys, Thanks for comments. I am not really planning a second procedure at this time. The change in my appearance is pretty startling when I look at old photos. So definitely, there is significant cosmetic improvement. But in some corner of my mind, I was hoping for a miracle!
  2. Guys, It has been a while since I posted an update. I updated my blog a few days ago. Would be wonderful to know your thoughts. Thanks.
  3. Dr HM, can you please post his 7 month results as well? I feel that will drive home your point better. Nice results and good work.
  4. Adrian, can you please post a pic for the left side (final) as well. I am tempted to conclude from the front photo that his left side had a gap. But for that I think his right side looks great.
  5. Acrobaz, thank you for the update. Yes, you are right - you have come a long way. Very nice. You were not so lucky with the scar and it seems to have widdened a bit. Are you concerned about this? Also, in my case, I find my hair looks best when combed back to get that layering effect. But I am bad at styling too - will be interesting to see the suggestions you receive cos I could use them too!
  6. ES, I would also look into Dr. Alexander in Phoenix. He has posted umpteen results here in the forum. Do a search and you will see a lot of his results. I had my HT with him six months ago - my results are encouraging at this point. Good luck.
  7. All normal, bud. After two weeks, grafts are very secure.
  8. These are most probably miniaturized hairs. They will continue to fall and grow back but the miniaturization will continually get worse until the roots becomes dead. You want to get on rogaine/propecia to save these hairs. Even with medication these will fall out but chances of them coming back thicker are good.
  9. I worried about my grades when I was your age - now that's a better thing to worry about. Please, please don't get a HT
  10. ak26, I have not heard of Dr Nobbay before though I have heard Dr Venkatraman mentioned before in these forums. I hope things work out well for you, though a doc recommended on this forum is safest since he has a proven record of great results.
  11. n1978, good luck with your procedure. Yes, it is normal to feel some anxiety and excitement the day or even weeks before. I hope you will share your experience and photographs with this community.
  12. chanyouzhe, it is very painful to see the details of your case. Did you give Pats205 your details? Has he gotten back to you on what the clinic thinks is the problem? Only a knowledgeable doctor will be able to tell you - others can only make intelligent guesses.
  13. M&M, seen you post all over this forum. Never thought your hair would look this good! Looking great.
  14. hairshare, congrats on the great transformation. Dr. Wong has done it yet again. I would be thrilled if I were you and I think you will agree that this is pretty phenomenal.
  15. TTP, yes I agree the results could have been better. Please keep us in the loop on what Dr.A tells you. Good luck.
  16. guys, thanks for the comments, guidance, and support. It is very much appreciated. Yes, I am v enthusiastic about how it is going to turn out finally. thana, I have a little oil in my hair in the pics which is probably giving that slight wet look. On a side note, I am hoping the the meds will thicken my crown up. But a thin crown doesn't bother me anywhere close to a bald front and this is the most hair I have had in a long time (or atleast appears so!).
  17. Friends, Just posted my six month update. My transplanted hair has thickened compared to month 5. My appearance has changed quite drastically and I get many questions on what I have been doing with my hair. Others I can see are noticing but cannot decide what/how to ask. Most people seem to believe when I tell them it is the rogaine The scar is looking good too, though not undetectable. I am thinking of clipping down to a #4 to even things out.
  18. Wow, great. First of all, I appreciate him for coming forward like this. Being in the public eye and being so open about a HT can never be easy. Dave78, Sehwag has had a HT as well and is looking great these days. So has Harsha Bhogle, the commentator and Shane Warne. Finally got to say this - with or without hair, Indian batsmen are going to hit him all over the park for runs!
  19. deadly result - I suspect he had some good native hair in the front to augment his results.
  20. Dr. A, I am surprised no one commented yet on this - I think the results are very nice. Recreating the frontal third with ~2500-2800 grafts seems to be your forte.
  21. good luck. Some others have posted results of that dr and results were pretty good.
  22. fookin hair, I think it is pretty difficult to count - I notice the same thing after HT - most of my hair lost is from the donor area on the sides. I don't know why.
